We had to take a unplanned stop in Mandi coz of rain and it was pitch dark! Hotel Monal was the only nearest hotel on Google.It ia built on the banks of river. Which was totally unexpected. We could have breakfast just besides the river.Food and service is very good.Rooms are average but had all the required amenities.The only pulloff is the blankets had the towels had a fawl smell :(..but since it was budget hotel and i can give this a pass...

Far from main town location is between small industries and workshops so front side view is not good but opposite side view is little good

Location of the hotel is good for those who want lonliness with a touch of nature . The hotel is 1.5Kms far from the Bus Stand and about same far from the popular market . The floors and dianing is good enough , parking is available. Common balcony and open place is available in each floor . But the staffs are not good . The behaviour of the hotel boys are not acceptable. The manager in our time was good . Can not say if there is another manager . Pocket friendly budget hotel but be ready for worst behavior of the hotel staffs .
