I was Postmaster of Mandi Head Post office from 2015 to 2018. Very charming place. Very lovely. Unforgettable days spent there.

The indian post department is one of most largest government authority. And this body provides alot of employment. But the thing That makes sad about every single department runs under government Authorization works very merely. Those who work under these bodies 7/10 are ineligible and dont know that how to work efficiently and fail to provide their 100% to the job. Infact some of the employee Dont even wants to work.But fortunately in India post department in Mandi district works properly and efficiently

This post office provides a lot of postal services to the customer of Mandi town. Beautiful building constructed 1877 during British time. Working as a delivery post office for the Mandi city. Provides you banking, insurance and mail facilities under one roof. There is also a passport seva Kendra in head post office. You can buy here various forms for job notified by himachal Pradesh staff selection commotion Hamirpur. A Philatelly stamps sales counter also here give you opportunity to buy different postal stamps issued by DOP time to time. This office is still working since Independence.

The Mandi Head Post Office building is heritage building. This building is also known as Darbar Hall because it was Darbar of Raja of Mandi.

The staff here is very good here
