Very nice sea beach jobs. Hotels are very closed to sea beach, every hotels have their own opening to the beach.

A nice sea beach perfect for families with kids about 4 hours drive from Kolkata. Many resorts right on the beach which offer superb views. Waves are gentle - young kids can play in water and build sand castles. Usual beach adventure sports available. Few shacks on the beach selling food and souvenirs. Massage available by local people. Sunrise is a must see. You can watch fisherman taking their boards out in the sea in morning. Famous for red crabs which run around. The feel of water on your feet - simply awesome. Nature at its best.

Mandarmoni beach is about 5 - 5.5 hours drive from kolkata... Near Digha. Unlike Digha its not crowded.Many new resorts n hotels have opened up along the beach of this resort with most of them having their own private beach area.One cannot take a proper bath in Mandarmoni seabeach... But can definitely njoy long walk on the beach during low tide.TIP :- As theres nothing much to do in Mandarmoni...so preferably choose a hotel which has some amenities like pool/park/game area/restro etc.Two nights enough to enjoy this seaside.

Nice big beach but crowd is too much even in this pandemic situation. Many shops selling souvenirs, food and stuff. Good place to hang out with friends and family. Also theres a shop near the beach turning which sells very fresh fish and crabs.

Back in the year 2004,when I visited Mandarmonj,vehicles were allowed to run on the beach and we gad the liberty of selecting a hotel with best amenties sitting in the car. Now,that scope is not there but almost every good hotel has an entrance to the beach.Sit in the bench and enjoy the cool breeze coming from the sea or walk along the long beach.

EXCELLENT, except sea water it is better then GOA beach in all things, like hotel , amusement, price of food or rent etc. Strongly RECOMMENDED. I visit every year in last 5years.

Visited on 29.03.2021. Enjoyed the beachtime. Looooong beach. Enough space for everyone. Gathering is negligible. Highly Recommended as an alternative of Digha if you like some serenity.

Mandarmani is a seaside resort village in East Midnapore district and at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the large and fast developing seaside resort village of West Bengal. It is almost 180 Km from Kolkata Airport on the Kolkata - Digha route. Red crabs crawling around the 13 Km long beach is a special attraction of Mandarmani. It is argued to be the longest drivable (drive in) beach in India. Geomorphologically, this area has relatively low waves than nearer tourist beach of Digha. However still this beach is deposition with formation of neo dunes in several areas specially around Dadanpatrabar.This is literally a virgin beach. Fantastic experience.It is a lonely beach steeped with natural beauty and vast ocean.This is beach specially for nature lover who wants to feel and go deeper into the spiritual nature.Beautiful hotels and resorts available.Pay and use toilets are available.But no market.You can find some fabulous restaurant and some cheap restaurants.After all good experience.
