Superb place to visit

Holy place for Jain community and an excellent trekking place ...awesome atmosphere.. especially in monsoon..A big statue of Lord Rishabhdev almost 108 feet long made from one rock is the main attraction there...beautiful panoramic view from both the peaks.. jeep is available to reach to the statue or one can climb up to both peak by stairs(3500 steps approx.) It is must visit place for adventure lovers and landscape photography lovers...

Great jain holy place. Has biggest statue of Lord rishabhdev total 108feet great place for trekkers and rainy weather lovers. Stairs are a bit difficult. Otherwise best place spend a day. Beaware of 🐵 monkeys.

There is parking place available. Total 3600 steps to climb. There are benches at few points on the way up. But there is no shelter to rest. Its better to carry a cap. Also there are few stall for tea and lemon juice. On the top, the landscape looks beautiful. You will see the beauty of Sahyadri mountain range.Note: monsoon will be better for the visit. Greenery make it more beautiful.

Very beautiful, calm nice superb place. Feel the nature very closely. Very important place for jain pilgrimages as 99 crore saints have attended salvation here. Old trust dharamshala very good. They have built a new building which has very nice rooms at reasonable rates. Vehicular transportation provided by trust to visit the pilgrimage at very reasonable cost. A must visit place for everyone

Excellent trek. It is a good test for fitness. Challenge for the fitness freaks to complete this trek without halting. Once you are done with this, the trek to Tungi and back down awaits you. If you want to burn approx. 1000 Cals in day, nothing could be more entertaining than Mangi Tungi. For trekkers coming from Nashik or places that are further away than Satana, it is advisable that they book a room at the Mangi Tungi Dharmashala at the base camp and commence trekking as early as possible. We started at 7 and it was really pleasant. Monkeys galore, so it is advisable to invest 10 Rs to buy a stick to repel the Monkeys. The monkeys here are dare devils and will push the envelope to grab anything from you that they may find worth indulging in.

Mangi-Tungi is a prominent twin-pinnacled peak with plateau in between, located near Tahrabad about 125 km from Nasik, Maharashtra, India. Mangi, 4,343 ft (1,324 m) high above sea level, is the western pinnacle and Tungi, 4,366 ft (1,331 m) high, the eastern.

Place is awesome , total around 3000 steps are there to reach the peak.

Beautiful nature and peace.This place is around 120km from nashik and you can plan one day trip (morning 6 to evening 5) from nashik .There ars two peaks Mangi and tungi at approx 4300 feet above sea level.At This place there is 108 feet idol of Rishabhadev Bhagwan.Comming to sinic beauty you will definitely amazed with nature and yes its recommend to visit during monsoon (Not in peak season though) so you could really enjoy the peaceful weather.Complete staris are there to reach the top of mountain and you will comfortably climb up the top. But its takes lot of effort are you are going very high up the gradient.Definitely you will experience something new way of nature.Happy trekking...😊👍

Mangi Tungi peaks are located near Nashik. We visited this place in January 12-2019. This peak has around 3000 steps. This place is actually come in Sahyadri range. The highlight of the fort is 108 feet high, the statue of Rishabhdev carved in a single stone.

Couldnt find time to climb it, it is suggested that, keep ample food, water and of course time!!

One of the most auspicious place ,as per Jain mythology.As per jain idealogy it is one of SHASHVAT TIRTH.Cores of Jain monks attained liberation (Moksha) from this mountain.Very reach vibration.It is observed that, to a days some peoples are treating it as a picnic spot.For jain pillgrims very good facilities have been provided by some trusts.Both the trust belongs to Digambar Jain community.

Go early morning before sunrise and do take those sticks that kids offer. It costs around 10 to 15rs. They will help a lot in climbing.

Steps goes all the way up, 2500 of them, also a vehicle is available for transportation there, its well worth the climbing

It is one of the best place for tracking and adventure. This is Holy place of first Lord of Jain religion. Here there are two peaks namely Mangi and Tungi. To reach at statue vehicle service is available in just 100 RS . Lord rishabhdev statue which is worlds tallest statue of Jain Lord. It is of 108 feet. To reach at Mangi and Tungi peaks from here you have to walk. First go to Mangi . Here are lots of ancient caves of Jain Lords. Its really seems a miracle because this caves are created at highest point of peaks. While going there make sure to keep water and food items in your bag. Be alert from monkeys cause they can snatch your mobiles and other things. After Mangi go for Tungi peak.

A visitor gets the feeling that your are walking in through the gate way into another world it truly fills your heart mangi tungi is the best place I visited in 2017 it would be better if you could make the accent before dawn as the sun makes climbing up the stairs which numbers to a couple of thousands a sweaty job plus you could see the sun raising over the mountains

This place is very energetic and you will be surprised with the view when you reach on top of mangi peak. Its awesome and viewing and realizing the what kind of hard tapp was done by Jain munis will make you feel proud to be associated with Jainism.

First peak on the left side. Idols of Jain Asthetic and Thinkar have been erected in the stone .

This is a sacred place for jain religion.The place is situated about 125 km from Nasik on Nandurbar way. The nearest bus stop is Tarhabagh .The nearest Railway station is Nasik Road which is 9kms away from Nasik.This is siddha kshetra from here four Jain munis got Moksha and also Balram.:There are two hill tops approximately at height of 4400 ft above sea level. It has 7000 steps to reach the steep hill top .On the hill top there are Jain caves. In the caves are caraved the beautiful idols of Jain thirthankars and Balram.

Adventures place. Amazing for tracking. 50 km from Ahwa. Peaceful and natural place in small village. But very high peak. Range of mountains. You can also take jeep car for half road. Worlds highest jain bhagavan rishabhdev 108 feet statue in one rock at mangi peak. And tundi peak has natural peak.

Big man mad statue . Beautifull place to worship but you need to climb around 1500 steps for reaching this statue . Old mangi Tungi committe is different thwy manage old temples and mountain and new statue is managed by new commitee. there r lot of monkeys so keep ur things safe..

No hotel,restuarent n big trees for shaddow in way..hightest climbing tract during climbing kept 3 to 4 bottels water with u...great experience for climbing...in caves u got lot f silence n cooling n dont come back from half way.Not great but nice place.
