Small little place. Pretty clean. Open seating was good. The guy at the counter and who served us, both were well mannered. Asked for sandwiches and found the bread a bit old. Do keep a check. I guess one must ask for items which move faster.

A surprise visit to this restaurant lead to a pleasant discovery about a veg dish called Maashwadi, which has bhakri, a fish shaped besan vegetable and gravi. Dish collectively tastes like a non-vegetarian dish, hence it is called Maashwadi; Maansh means flesh. This by far turned out to be the best Maharashtrian dish I ever had.

This place is a compulsory stop whenever we are traveling on the Nasik - Pune highway during lunch or dinner hours. The authentic Maharashtrian food they serve here is mouth watering. The hot Bhakaris, lasuni methi, bharli vaangi and the list goes on. One another Sunday special dish is Maas Vadi. The black rassa they give is a little on the spicy side but is worth trying. Apart from Maharashtrian food they also serve good Punjabi and Chinese dishes too.
