Property is nicely located at a close proximity to few tourist spots. Owners of the hotel are really sweet and wanting to give their customers a good experience.Property needs a lot of maintenance and this is acknowledged by the owners as well, as this got discussed in our discussion.

Food was ok. There was no fancy spread though. One sabji, one dal, rice roti. Rooms were clean and big.Gysers working.But service person was good humble and quick.Owners were also humble and down to earth.Location is below hidimba Temple.Some special request and arrangements were done with utmost care and promptness.Good experience. The hotel look in photos and in reality is totally different.The food taste was very bad and rooms are totally not worth it according to price.Blanket and comforter are very smelly.Paper plates for food .You have only two glass in room for water if u want more then u get the paper glass.And the whole managing team is worst.They dnt know how to talk to guest or how to say anythng to anyone.

Hotel Monal Manali Review.1. No one at the reception. No welcome drinks.2. Rooms in the worst condition. Not even worth 1 star. Attached images below.Lights not working, Locks not working.3. After complaining, got the rooms changed but the hotelier can only manage two rooms which were there in the itinerary, the 3rd room was already occupied by someone else.4. After so much trouble of shifting rooms we find that the new rooms didnt have water supply. From 6pm till 10pm there was not even a single drop of water. Had to use other hotel for washroom.5. Plates provided for dinner are paper plates, felt like eating at some temple.After asking we got proper plates.Glasses have a layer or black substance at the bottom and stink worse than the toilets.6. No toiletries, most of the taps leak, even the toilet seats are broken and geysers are like ancient ones. After keeping then on for 30-40mins you get hot water.7. At around 11am in the morning there is no water in the rooms and we had to use washroom of other rooms on different floor.8. At night we found people drinking and smoking in middle of the hotel. Shouldnt say this but it looked like some 3rd grade hotel.9. Also its more of an insect/bug friendly hotel than humans as there are cockroaches, spiders and other insects almost everywhere.10. The telephone in the rooms didnt work, we have to call Ravi on his personal number for any assistance. Also a socket alongside bed didnt work.Why was the room in the itinerary not shown during the time of check-in. Only after complaining the actual rooms were allotted(only 2 out of 3). What if some customers didnt complaint, the money paid is wasted.Please make sure that this hotel is not in the itinerary of any other customer as its not worth giving a single rupee. Infact charge a fine for spoiling the customer experience and for fooling the customers by showing images of rooms which cannot be alloted or are not there in the hotel.In all it was a very disappointing experience coming at the end of a wonderful trip.Kindly check all the images attached below.

3rd class service. Only rooms are in bigger size rest nothing is proper. We booked 9 rooms in hotel. When we entered they told us your 1 room us in another hotel. We were just enquiring for the same why so. The drunk manager started argument if we are adjusting you meal late u need to adjust for the room. As we were little late due to traffic, they served us our meal little late. Immediately the manger gone wild & asked his staff to remove the buffet kept for us.Locks of room were not proper. To open one, we & staff took 2hrs. Hot water system were not proper. Towels were not there in room, after requesting frequently theyve given 1towel per room.In my room glass of Window was broken. To close the same with something I need to call 3times & talk personally 2times then the problem resolved. Food test was not good. To serve everyone staff was not enough & not prompt.Last 25 yrs Im traveling. But this type of experience Ive got 1st time. Over all our experience was, they dont need customers & if are going there means they are doing fevour by offering us rooms at our cost.

- The rooms are spacious and have all facilities like hot water in the bathroom, water heating kettle and room heater - but the last one does require you to pay a charge per night.- The location is beautiful and from our room, we could view the mountains and snow-clad peaks, through both the windows and the balcony.- The food here is absolutely fantastic. Some food items need to be ordered beforehand, and chicken is not always on the menu, but the taste and quality of the food is impeccable.- The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and were always ready to assist us. Calling the room service from the phone in our room, it occasionally did take a long time for someone to show up, but thats forgivable as the service itself was very good.Loved our 3 nights stay here, and can easily recommend Eden Monal to other people looking for a hotel in Manali.

This Is really a fantastic hotel 0.8 kms apart from Mall road I recently visited with My Family bet. 10th to 16th June 2018 where the owner shows keen interest in providing amazing hospitality to their guests by organizing Live music bands with few famous celebrity, Playing Tambola (Housie) @ Dinner Time, Next Night DJ Night with proper dance floor. Full of surprise with relaxing dine time. Food Quality is really Awesome with different Varieties including Non Veg at Dinner. What else you need bro?? Room was perfect and up to the mark. No Lift here to reach the top floor is really a draw back. But still manageable.The efforts for enhancing providing services is appreciable. Staff really cooperative and smart. I suggest One must have a try to stay here atleast for 4-5 days minimum and feel the difference staying here at medium budget.

Worst property ever. Bad food, bad accommodation.

The hotel is a fantastic place to stay amidst the beautiful place of manali. The rooms are very tidy spacious and you get a very calm and peaceful view from the balcony. Plus the hotel management is up to the mark. You can also enjoy hearty meals in dinner ( veg and non veg ) at the buffet . One of the best places to stay for sure 👍

First off , I made a mistake booking hotel monal through an agent for My Brothers Honeymoon !I am writing my brother Complete Experience on Behalf of himWent to Manali on 8th Dec 2018 for a long awaited holiday .. hoped to have a good time and stay in a nice clean hotel .But what a disaster it was !!! Hotel monal is like a lodge for bachelors not a hotel where families can stay. Cigarettes buds every where, pillows are ridden with fungus, the property is littered with monkey poo, and there is so much trash under the bed !! What was even more shocking was when we decided to change hotels.. the manager Raju and the staff revealed their goondagiri .. harassing ladies and children on the road and not letting us leave. This even after 100% payment was made in full to the hotel by the travel agent! Oh what an horrid experience !!Mis management and try to cheat customer every time, , i read other reviews also they have pratice to provide other rooms to its customers, if i asked any thing they have only one answer NO AND ITS NOT POSSIBLE, last day of stay there was not power and water, cant recommend to others. please book it cautiouslyThe room and bathroom were unclean and even they didnt have changed the bedsheet and towels during my three days of stay. The reviews for this hotel are clearly false and made up by hotel staff (which I have found on many Indian hotel reviews) The photos have been enhanced and edited as the hotel is old and shabby. The outside is filthy with glass panes missing and looks nothing like the photo. The beds were dirty and very uncomfortable and the rooms were cold and extremely old looking. The staff were un-welcoming and looked surprised at the arrival of guests, who would have thought we arrived at a hotel?!PS. Please beware of Hotels like MonalMy suggestions will be not go by the current rating I was also misguided by the rating and had booked for three days.Overall pathetic experience.

Very bad experience. Hotel situated in upper side from ground level and road is very narrow. Staff persons are very rude and unprofessional. Hotel having three floors and no lift is available. Rooms and furniture are not maintained properly. Electrical equipment’s are not working properly. Bathrooms are dirty and hot water is not available for all the time. Food is not up to mark. Mismanagement and try to cheat customer. I have booked 2 super deluxe room and got guest house types rooms, can’t recommend to others.

Went to Manali in January with my friends. There was snow everywhere. Faced water trouble because of frozen Pipes. The staff support was good. Go to Monal if you want to have a good holiday experience. Will definitely come back again

Worst experience ever! We saw the many negative reviews about the hotel but decided to give it a try. Earlier had stayed one night and had a good experience. This time it was different. No one at reception when we arrived. We had 2 rooms. The free Wifi never works. With my booking it was showing only 1 adult as there was problem with website when we made the booking. This was informed to reception during check in. Which the person at reception said I will check and revert.That evening we also checked with reception (Mr Raju) if we needed to pay anything extra he said you are staying tomorrow also so will tell you then. My friend was not informed about his inclusion since he had meals included in his package. We had to keep on asking them to tell us and they said we are checking. There is some lack of communication it seems. The mattress in our room was very bad. If one person sits on it the whole bed moves. The light is broken in the bathroom. No maintenance. Also next morning when we called reception to ask for some water we were informed you have to pay 800/- extra now for 2 days!! Is this a way to tell your guest? And this could also be informed to us on the day we checked it. Regardless of this, when we went to reception to complain about the mattress in own room. Mr Raju at the time had a very careless attitude. What you want me to do he replies. What you want from me? Very unprofessional behaviour of staff. Also when we asked why the charges were not informed to us prior, he said this is charges you have to pay. Also threaten us with physical harm if you don’t pay!! Seriously would not recommend to stay here. I have never seen such bad staff behaviour. You are better off staying somewhere else unless you want your trip spoiled.

I think this hotel gives the best hospitality you can expect in this budget. This hotel is about 700-800 metres from mall road. The view from their super deluxe rooms is awesome. And if you visit there in winters and go on the balcony of your room you will see snow everywhere.

Me and my friends were invited to the Diwali celebration by the owner herself which was followed by dinner. Atia is quite interacting person, she gave us info about the local and other places to go for. The food was nice, location of the hotel was well situated because the places for local sightseeing were nearer and most of all our host Atia was very much friendly.

WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY 14 YEARS OF TRAVEL/TOURISM CARRIER.BEING A TRAVEL AGENT AND A MEMBER OF ADTOI, WE HOPED THAT WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN MANALI. BUT ALL VANISH DUE TO THE BELOW SCENARIO.1. WE WENT MANALI 12 DAYS BACK WITH FAMILY. ON ARRIVAL WE GOT THE ROOMS STATED THE ROOMS ARE FAMILY ROOMS. UNFORTUNATELY ONE OF OUR ROOMS DOESNT HAD THE INTERCOM FACILITY AND NO WATER IN THE BATHROOM. AND COMOD FLUSH WAS NOT WORKING, IN EVENING SOMEHOW THEY HAVE RECTIFIED THE ISSUE OF FLUSH, WE HAVE ASKED ABOUT THE TOWEL IN THE ROOM, BUT HOUSEKEEPING STAFF SAID VERY POLITELY THAT DUE TO FESTIVAL THE TOWEL COULDNT WASHED AND CAME BACK FROM LAUNDRY. AT LAST WE STAYS OVERNIGHT IN EDEN MONAL.2. DESPITE REMINDER GIVEN TO THE RECEPTION PEOPLE ABOUT THE WATER AND COMOD FLUSH PROBLEM, WE AGAIN CATCH UP WITH THE SAME ISSUE DURING THE MIDNIGHT AT 3AM. AS FOR SEEN EARLY IN THE MORNING AGAIN BIG HITCHED UP FOUND. THERE WERE NO ELECTRICITY AND NO WATER FROM MORNING 06.30AM. SOME PEOPLE WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE ROHTANG PASS (SINCE IT WAS HUGE RUSH ON THE WAY TO ROHTANG). BUT DUE TO THIS THEY ARE UNABLE TO GO ON TIME. WHEN SOME PEOPLE ASKED TO START GENERATOR , RECEPTION PERSON SAID WE DONT HAVE GENERATOR IN OUR HOTEL . SOME OF THE HOTEL PEOPLE SAID THAT THEY DONT HAVE A MONEY TO FILL DIESEL IN GENERATOR. AS THE HOTEL MANAGERS AND HOTEL CARE TAKER WAS ON LEAVE FROM PAST 4-5 DAYS DUE TO FESTIVAL ID. DESPITE REGULAR CALLS AND FOLLOW UPS WITH MS. ATIA NOOR AND MR. CHAITANYA, THEY ARE UNABLE TO DO ANY MAJOR RECTIFICATION ON THE ONGOING PROBLEM WHICH WAS ARISE EARLY IN THE MORNING. SINCE WE DIDNT GOT ANY OTHER OPTION TO LEAVE THE HOTEL IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID ANY SUCH CONDITION HAPPENED WITH MY FAMILY. DUE TO THE ABOVE KIOSK OUR FULL DAY WAS LOST.3. WHEN SENIOR MANAGEMENT IS NOT THERE IN THE HOTEL, THIS PROBLEMS WILL ALWAYS ARISE ON A REGULAR BASIS. WE HAVE CALLED MS. ATIA NOOR ALMOST 100 TIMES FROM PAST 2 DAYS, BUT SHE DIDNT TURNED UP AND THAN WE CALLED MR. CHAITANYA, HIS RUDE BEHAVIOR TOWARDS US LEFT US NO CHOICE TO DISCONTINUE THE SERVICES WITH THEM.THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD AND EXCELLENT HOTELS ARE THERE IN NEARBY AROUND. CAN GET WITHIN 1800-2800/- PER NIGHT WITH BREAKFAST. WE STAYED IN HOTEL SAGAR RESORT, NEAR BY IT WAS REALLY EXCELLENT. WITH REGARDS TO SERVICE AND AMBIANCE.I HAVE ATTACHED THE BREAKFAST MENU WITH THIS REVIEW. KINDLY CHECK AND THAN YOU GUYS BOOK THE SAME HOTEL.

I was there due to my booking agent because he show us different rooms but as I enter in hotel, the staff was unprofessional and the room conditions was very bad. It was 3rd class hotel in my life. This is a hotel run by the goons!! The reception staff are ready to fight with you if you complain for anything. The mattress in my room was bouncy so we decided to complain to reception ( Raju) . He instead started fighting with us that you have been told for extra charges so you are complaining. ...we had some issue with the no of pax. ...We complained to him about rude staff behaviour and he just said I will look into it. Free wifi never works. The light in the bathroom has no cover. Rooms feel very run down and need of maintenance. They mainly cater to large group of people so don’t care about family member who are also staying. Stay at your own risk.

You ask for cold drink reply will be go and get it by yourself. Friends never visit this hotel if you dont want to spoil your tour. We were 9 person all were very unhappy with services. You will feel unsecure with those staff members as their behaviour is like they are gangsters. We felt pretty unsecure their . Visited 10 time Manali before but will never visit again .
