A calm and relaxing environment. Cheap stay options. Google map shows 1.2 kms, but take an auto or cab. Both the routes on Google maps are highly steep. If you have luggage, no second thoughts hire a cab. Youll really like the place and its serenity..

The Place is Nice And Had Hostel Vibe.The view from here is also worth.But If You didnt have your own travel option than you need to take auto.It is quite far from mall road or bus stand.The Room have good space.But The Cleaning Is Not That Good.

Nomadic Den is one of the most pocket friendly place for staying in Manali, it has got an amazing view. A place which offers many services from free WiFi, paid breakfast, ghar ka swaad wala khana (homemade food) dorm and beds for friends, books, games like poker, cards etc and obviously a fabulous view from rooftop.

Absolutely wonderful place. You will love the quiet and peaceful ambiance. Although its a little arduous to walk from the market place to the hostel, but its worth it. Do not expect anything fancy. The place has rooms both with 4 beds and 6 beds with an attached bathroom and toilet for each. The place also has a little gym on he roof. If you are not comfortable with sharing your room with strangers, then I would not recommend it. The host is very amicable. If you just want a bed to sleep, its the perfect place and relatively cheap. If you are a traveler you will love the place

A nice place to stay if you are travelling solo. Apple orchard all around the hostel with ripen apples make the surrounding fascinating.Shivam, the owner of the hostel is a friendly person and will make your stay comfortable.Also you can enjoy scenic beauty from the rooftop of the hostel.This is a peaceful place, little away from hustle bustle of the town.Looking forward to visit again.

Nice place. Shivam was very kind. Gym on the rooftop and amazing view from there. The common kitchen was not clean but I made myself a good spaghetti sauce! Just wash the pots before using

It is one of the coolest hostels in Manali the staff are well behaved and the location is also very beautiful. I have stayed that for three days and had a good experience. They also have a mini gym and it is awesome.

Awesome place in the middle of Apple farm. View from the top is breathtaking. Everyone here is friendly. Hadimba temple and old Manali is at walking distance. You can come solo or with friends and chill for couple of days. I enjoyed my stay here alot.

The owner is just so chill and helpful. Always always ready to help you. Not in old Manali, so youre not overwhelmed by tourists everywhere. The rooftop is amazing with an incomparable view. They serve good and cheap food almost all day. Calm and relaxing, good wifi, clean.

Great place to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Do yoga or workout in the morning to amazing views before having breakfast. The chai for 40 rupees was rather overpriced. The calm and quiet beats whatever else is happening in Old Manali. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Its an amazing place, with an amazing view from the terrace, the environment is perfect, its not a place for families, but perfect for a group of 4-6 people or solo travellers.

The place is well managed, the owner shivam is trying his best to make it one of the best hostels of manali, albiet a bit short of man power. Hope he find it soon. Just go there for the view from the roof top, and the calm away from the noisy town.

Place is good. But its not sure you will get a bed or not... as I went there through a friend he said its cheap. He said I been to this place I dropped some of my luggage there.Unfortunately they charged me more what I was expecting. May be they cheated. So please confirm before you start living here.😠 they charged more maybe because it was too crowd and still we lived there... so guys please check before you check in here..Visited on June 11 2018. Hello Idiots! Having ur old rum ?. Arpit bhai I miss your nursing at - 5 temperature, while writing this at the comfort of my bedroom in Bangalore. I, a treperate cloud guy, when first met u was not only greeted with extra heater n blanket, but acquainted me to breathe n survive in sub-zero temperatures. You taught me extremes. Not just tbat, but value of pasion. I first met u as a shivering man, n left u with a dismantled heart. Keep up the good work, I am coming their anyway !!!

Location is a bit off, cab drops off a little far as theres no proper road to it but view is nice. Rooms are okay, staff is friendly. Though you wont get many food options, you can use the kitchen if you need to

Peaceful little place tucked away from the buzzing streets of Manali during the tourist season but yet has an easy access to both old and new Manali. I like the concept that this place is help run by volunteers so a special thank you to Debby and Javi who were great and made sure that everyones stay was comfortable. Had fun, met some really interesting people, had some great conversations and the view from the terrace is spectacular.

One of the most cost effective accommodations you can find in entire Manali. The view is simply mesmerizing with the view of 3 mountains in 3 sides, beyond which lies Ladakh, Spiti and Delhi respectively. The host Arpit is an extremely talented but humble person. One thing to note is that if you choose the cheapest option (RS.150/day) you wont get attached bathroom or wifi but you can pay RS.50 for wifi access which is provided using WiMax and is reasonably fast. The place is very near to Hadimba temple. From Manali Mall road you can walk up the hill to the place and save up Rs.80 ( The Google maps walking directions are accurate). You are not allowed to cook food yourself but Arpit will make you tasty food for a price.Bonus:- Ask him to show you the photographs and videos he has taken.You will be amazed.

The place is super chilled. My friend and I intended to stay for two days, ended up staying five, thanks to Shivam whos running the place and his compadre Tecu, the owner. We had a great time together with them, it was one of the best hostel experiences I have had so far. Hostel view was pretty good with terrace view of Manali..but the hospitality was very poor as many times shifted the room n bed...also the owner was very rude....
