We did not stay here, but the building is very old and upper rooms (which we saw) has that old wet wood smell in addition to old building smell. The rooms werent bad but if you do your research you can surely find a better place to stay. we were just looking for a place to crash the day we reached and still chose not to stay here, go a little ahead and take a left and try your luck in some of the Hotels there.

This hotel has a very good manager. Food is awesome. Rooms are nice except where little bit maintenance required in washrooms. Overall its good choice of stay in manali as it is very close of all restaurants, cafeterias etc.

This was my second time that I stayed at Whispering Inn, so one can imagine that my previous experience was pretty good. So was this one. The location is pretty good, away from mall road and secluded yet easily connected. The hotel ambiance is calm and clean, the wooden work adds to the charm, on my day of checkout I spent about 3 hours in the dining/reception area and it was comfy. The staff is very courteous and helpful, service is quick and they won’t let you down in any way. The room was clean and all the amenities were provided. Overall, I’m surely coming back to stay here when I visit Manali again.

Excellent stay at The Whispering Inn. Staff was so humble and so was the hospitality. We got complimentary room upgrade during our stay. The spacious rooms and the balcony view from the rooms was more than cherry on the cake. Food was also good. Mall road was just a 10 mins walk from the hotel. Overall it was a 10/10 stay. I would recommend this hotel to all those who want to enjoy their stay in a beautiful, peaceful yet not so isolated place.

Booked through MMT, great experience..Great hospitality by Thakur and team, all of them are great when it comes to customer satisfaction. The food of this hotel is very tasty and the staff here is very colloquial. the General Manager Mr. Nokh Raj Thakur is very cooperative,friendly and supportive. The rooms here are very luxurious and a comfortable one for you. According to the location, this hotel is very close to the market where you can walk very comfortably. It was a wonderful experience staying in the Whispering Inn Hotel. We booked the smallest room available and were upgraded to a suite room. The owner is very helpful and had organised our bike trip to Baralacha Pass. Infact he helped us arrange bike also. This for me is the best Hotel to stay in Manali.

A very Late Post Indeed... We Booked this Hotel in the Month of June 2021, and Stayed There for a Week on and Off... Perfectly Located in the Heart of Old Manali..The hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. We were greeted so warmly and friendly by the Hotel Manager Thakur Ji!!! that during the duration of the stay we literally forget that it was an Hotel. The Management, The Staff, The Entire Hotel and their Service was exceptional.The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at, Since ive Stayed in End no. of Hotels in India and Other 17 Countries this was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever Hospitality Wise.Kudos to the Entire Team... Its been more than 4 months of the Stay so have forgotten most of the names... But One Name will be Remembered - Thakur Saab !!!I would definitely recommend this Hotel. Service top notch as always.Please Keep up The Good Work.

The hospitality of this place is amazing. Everyone is so warm that you feel just at home. The food is decent too.

Located nearby old manali so great location if you want to hang out and do cafe hopping, looks great from outside. Rooms were also good with view of many deodar trees from lobby. We had breakfast which was reasonably good.You can hear music in hotel corridor throughout the day that may cause disturbance if you wish to have a sound sleep during the day or you have a meeting. Staff was also polite but do mot not stop music.

I stayed here in 2019 I guess. The place is nice, professional and courteous staff. Food however was average. Back then they had live music outside in the evening which was a nice experience.

I went there to have food at the restaurant. First of all I was served something different from what I ordered. They dont know the difference between Manchow soup and Hot n Sour. On top of that whatever was served tasted really bad that I had to waste all the food and pay a hefty bill

What a Pathétic place to be atRooms were stinking like anything and when we called reception he says 10pm staff goes home and cannot do anything. After forcing him to come and check , he himself was not able to come inside the room as smell was so strong (coming from washroom may be due to drainage issue) all he did was sprayed room freshener and asked us to manageOver and above this , when we ordered food ( soup and rice ).They sent us Knorr ready Made soup charging 280 odd Rs 😂 and rice was so tasty that we didn’t even eat one whole spoonNext day when we spoke to restaurant person , he mentioned that restaurant band hone ka time hua tha Isiliye Knorr bana ke de diyaThey were least bothered for any serviceWould never recommend this place

We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite and the room was beautiful with an amazing balcony and cozy balcony and window seating. We were provided with a heater in our room making the experience hassle free. The room service was very good and we did not experience wait time. The wifi was not working initially but they remedied our complain as well. You should definitely consider this for your next Manali visit.

We reached to the Hotel at 6 in the morning. Nobody would give you a room soo early but we were fortunate enough to get a temporary room until our booked room got vacant. The Manager (Thakur Saab) is an amazing person, he will assist you soo religiously that you won’t believe. We had a great conversation just before we left the hotel.Apart from Thakur Saab, Mr. Aashish, Mr. Rohan (or Roshan don’t remember), T2 (Service guys at restaurant) the staff is so friendly and best part is very helpful and they do maintain decency with their clients. I took a drone shot of the Hotel with I shared with Mr. Thakur, I hope Hotel Management liked it.Overall you’ll feel like another home in this Hotel.Will definitely visit again.

A very beautiful place to stay. Loved the rooms. Stay at room 207 or 301. I liked them the most. Prices are a little on the higher side but the rooms are worth it. Everything is awesome except food which i did not like.

An amazing hotel with a completely wooden finish touch.Initially we used their restaurant services for two days and then decided to book the rooms in the hotel for further stay just because of the staff behaviour and politeness.Super friendly staff and their courteous behaviour made our stay awesome in the hotel.The rooms are spacious, clean and warm!

It is very cozy and beautiful place. The rooms are very clean and u have 24 hrs hot water facility. The staff is very cooperative and very helpful. The food menu is little expensive but altogether the place is value for money situated very near to mall road.

Amazing location-nearby all cafes, happening places and Hidimba temple. Superb room service & the staff is super friendly and accomodating. They let us check out 3 hrs later. The pics dont do justice to the rooms as the rooms are huge with 2 balconies and great views.
