Shahi India Malvern is my local Indian groceries store. I have been visiting this place for the past 2 years almost every week or more. The owners as well as the staff are very friendly. The place is small and during the peak hours they are quite busy and crowded. What I love about this place is their small mini cafeteria at the back of the store. Here, they server yummy Indian food and chaat. The food is freshly made. I have seen customers place bulk orders for parties and other gatherings too.In the past 2 years there have seen lot of upgrades and improvements. They stock up produces once every week. It is a lovely store, and you will find almost everything that you need here. But what I would highly recommend is if you happen to shop at this store do check the expiry of the products when you buy them as some time, they are remarkably close to the use by date. Also, their refund policy is no good. So be 100% sure before you buy anything. All in all a good place to buy Indian Groceries.
Great collection of Indian snacks, spices & fresh bakery items. You can find almost everything that you need here . Some products are not been label 🏷 no price tag and lots of stuff is being unorganised .Customer service we can say average .
There are many, many Indian grocery stores in Melbourne, and the differentiator is often the service and friendliness. Unfortunately Shahi, of late, has become an unwelcoming and very ordinary customer experience. Based on my and my family’s experience of late - our advice is that it may be time to explore alternative Indian stores, where a customer is treated respectfully by the store owner.
Friendly staff, got good variety of Indian groceries. Has quite a few Maharashtrian items as well
Love this store. they have all the indian snacks and frozen parathas and teas as well. just wish they would serve ready made indian food too
Unwelcoming and Opportunist shop and try to play with the price when you are in need of something.
Not so clean always its a mess with no one on the counter unless u ask for 1 and wait 2 mins to 5 mins
Great little store with authentic Indian supplies
Unorganized store. It doesn’t Looks like grocery store or a restaurant. dirty and smells food . They need to clean and make it look like a shopping store.

Phenomenal store! So many goodies, great staff and cheap prices! They also make delicious food in-store for takeaway. Highly recommend!
Great Vada Pav. If you are craving for a good Mumbai style Vada Pav - head to this place. They also serve other indian snacks like samosa, dhokla and chaat. And you can also purchase all your indian grocery needs from here.
Really amazing indian grocery store. The staff are super helpful if you have any questions about spices, ingredients or anything. More than happy to recommend items. If you need spices to make curries from scratch this is the place to be.
Lovely Indian store. Great variety

Perfect place to buy indian groceries. You will get every indian thing from here. Further more, staff of this shop is excellent and helpful. However, price of every product in this shop is high according to the area compared to other indian shops.

Wonderful Grocery store for traditional Indian cuisine
Used to be good once with great variety. I found fungus in my rice and lentils recently. Lots of expired stuff too, so be careful.
Fantastic Indian grocery store, with all the ingredients I needed for a number of different curries Ive cooked over the last few months. Store clerk/ owner was very friendly and helped me find everything I needed! Amazing service! Will be back!
Lots of Indian grocery available here with proper rate. Staff is helpful to find your product.
Its a good place to shop in a decent location near public transportHowever it would be really helpful if the people working there speaks in english !I went for shopping there and asked for something they didnt get what i was saying and was talking to me on their language!Wish they could improve this and think peopl who shop there are not only one who speaks their language
Many varieties of Indian groceries, fresh food like samosa, panipuri, mango lassi, roti, sabji etc. Friendly people and we get home environment once we step in here..
Very good place for Indian groceries
No way to get them on phone. Also the prices are exorbitantly high. No comparison to Quality Glen huntley or MKS Ashburton.
Amazing service and you find almost everything you need
Very helpful staff. Wide variety of Indian food available. Also offers loyalty reward.
Love this store! Big variety of spices, vegetables, utensils and all your indian(-inspired) cooking needs. Owner & staff are always friendly.
Good groceries store, nice and attentive staff, you get almost everything you need. Most of the time Dabeli is very good here. Best thing I personally like is, freshly cooked food (without any preservative, like we make at home), in case you could not cook at home, just asked them to make required fresh chapaties and sabji (if not already available they will make it if possible for them).Overall happy with the store.
Its awesome and the lady who works here is very kind and supportive. And specifically the hot food over here has delicious Indian taste.

Nice store. Has all the things for Indian household. Owner is nice and friendly.
Unorganized. Not clean at all. Very bad customer service. Not a good experience at all.
The best Indian store in malvern and closer to Caulfield North. Its next to the station and tram stop for 16.The store has everything: from indian masalas to curry leaves (fresh). Love the store for its merch and the tasty Samosas.
Good place all of your Indian grocery needs. They do offer home delivery for purchases more than $70.

They do sell most of Gujarati/North Indian groceries. Not a good option for buying South Indian groceries.

Imprecise arrangement and price not marked on many of the products.
Ok but not that great
As compare to other Indian grocery stores, it is quite expensive for every grocery item placed on the store shelves.
