Food charges are not mentioned in the menu card. When you ask for the price you will see as an overpriced. When you taste the food you will not have any thought about prices. But rice plate is very small compared to other menus. The owner is a very nice person. He takes order himself and guides you about everything.

Best seafood in Malvan at a very reasonable price. My only regret is finding about this at the last day of my stay in Malvan. I wish I could eat more. I had the Surmai thali and clams curry. Had some prawns from my friends plate and some crab from another friends plate. The quality and the care they take in preparing the food is on a different level. If you’ve visited Goa, Konkani canteen is one of the best places I’ve dined, Swami is the Konkani canteen of Malvan. The Staff is responsive, food tastes great, crab gravy is a must try.

Food was good and fresh, tasty have given one star less because the variety was missing... the curry was nice but given in two different portions and two piece of fish instead should have given some vegetable to go with the chapati... but it was nice... the ambiance is good and the place is clean... overall nice place for fish lovers.

The food was tasty no doubt and ambiance also okay , only what I felt is that good was bit over priced as compared to other restaurants which serve the same malvani food in this place , also I found that here in chicken thali they dont give boiled egg with thali which was bit strange for me and also they dont provide sweet with thali which is also strange as in thalis once should always add atleast one sweet and in special thalis can add two sweet after all no indian thali is complete without sweet .

Swami restaurant is the ultimate go to place for Malwani styled food. Ive been to all the restaurants with 4+ ratings in the malvan area in the span of 3 days yet I couldnt find the food which can be compared with this restaurant.The fish thali is a delicacy and one must try chicken special thali too if fish is not their thing.When in malvan one must try solkadi with the spicy food and that too is always freshly available.Restaurant isnt air-conditioned thats the only negative point.

This time it was on November 16th.Many Marathi film industry artists have visited Swami and you can take glimpse of it while sitting at your table. They have hanged photos on walls. You can pass a good time watching and recognizing those people in the photos while waiting for your thali :)

Service is good. But food quality needs to be improved a lot.Lots of food color used in curry which I didnt like.Fish fry was ok, but not upto the customer expectations when they pay high cost for it.Chicken was not fully cooked and it had with very small pieces so it was hard to separate out the meat.

If you are visiting Malvan, must visit Swami.Tasty food, bit expensive but worth it.

Too expensive food but food quality is good.. pricing wise too much being in malvan, wherein the raw seafood price is very cheap.Example, here one dish we ordered was prawn fry (not king prawns), it had 6 or 8 pieces for Rs. 300, In mumbai the same prawn fry with same number of pieces you also get for 300.Thats why we feel we overpaid for the food in Swami restaurant.I would urge owner to correctly and fairly price the dishes.

I visited this place in July season beginning of Manson.we ordered bangda thali which had whole fried fish,dry fish,solkadi etc. The fish was not properly marinated ,solkadi was not upto the mark.I loved their dry fish but service was kind of slow.

As i was vegetrian i got veg thali choice only.But food was good and tasty
