So village people started studying Urdu for their business development, communication between Kodur farmers & utter Pradesh shop keepersAfter long year back the Urdu learnt people turned to teaching field in schools, college.

It is a small town between Ponmala and Kodur. It is part of kodur panchayath. There are number of Urdu teachers resides here, that is why it is named as Urdunagar. The town lack with enough space for footpath.
