No value for money, but the location is good.

It is very comfortable and have all the facilities. I like the breakfast. It is very tasty and hygienic. Above all the behaviour of the staffs is very nice.

Good clean rooms.. Spacious, well furnished and tidy.Food is just OK.. Too spicy even for a south Indian..very very limited choice..Menu has no prices in if so that is a bit concerning.. But I just asked them how much is this and that and ordered my food..Complimentary Breakfast is a joke..Oh and they do not offer any sort of discount.. Like not even a little.. I mean its like fixed price, take it or leave it. Well you cant blame the man in the reception.. Hes been told not to entertain any bargaining so he simply acts like he didnt hear you ask for a discount..The matter of fact is I stayed in a 4 Star just a day before at Calicut at walk-in rates that were lesser than in soorya..

This is my updated review for the Hotel Soorya Regency & Im happy to up my review status for the property. They have completely revamped their bar section to that of a sporty pub. Interiors are average but clean. Good quality of food served & a better availability of brands in their bar as compared to other similar properties in & around qualifies for the 4 star. Pricey than others but provides a decent ambience. Definitely recommended if you are visiting Malappuram for work or pleasure.

The place is great. Have adequate space for parking, and a great hall where I attended a program (may have additional halls, not sure). Everything seemed fine though not so excellent - may be the program, which was small, made it look so.

The hotel is good but located away from town ( around 3KM). The room facilities and hospitality is good.

We conduct meetings here occasionally. Good parking space. Friendly staff. Good ambience. Food is average. Only problem is the attached bar and the crowd it attract. So not appropriate to bring family.

Infrastructure of a four (read 3) star hotel combined with service levels of a no star hotel. But I felt that has come to be, owing to the extremely low turnout of travelling business/professionals/working lot to malappuram; one of the probable reasons why the facility continues to be fairly affordable. Staff, with the exception for a few, seem to badly need a sermon on politeness, service, courtesy and the likes, which are popularly expected of the residency business. An analogy for the restaurant - a wet tissue left out to dry in the rain, in hope of being used again. That said, considering the high probability of most eat outs at malappuram leaving us with ghastly repercussions, the in house restaurant may be a relatively safer option.The silent and peaceful tuck away, the sprightly fast wifi, cleaner washrooms (though I felt it was mostly due to dearth of continued use; washrooms in some budget hotels in malappuram could leave us scarred for a lifetime), fairly good furnishings and lots and lots of space are the lone things to celebrate. Ok for a short stay. The manager gracefully accepted the complaints and promised to look into it. I hope the management makes an honest effort to set this place to tune. A very promising facility badly in need of professional attention.* Please excuse the overstated sarcasm.

I went there for having 6 beer with my 2 friends, first i ordered beer and asked complimentry food as touching, they given me only Mixture and pickle, this is a 4 star hotel, commonly 4 star hotels are serving complimentery food are fish fry, fish curry, chicken dry fry, kappa, peanuts etc. They r even not heard about this type services. I hope the management may think by the side of customers.

The best Hotel in Malappuram without any doubt. Good spacious rooms and courteous staff. One loopside though is lack of room service (you have go as far 1 km to grab your breakfast).

Stayed there for official work a couple of times. Its tucked away from road noise, the rooms are OK and amenities in place. Room service is slow and so is the service in the restaurant. Usually the guy who books you in at the reception carrys your luggage up the stairs, no lift, but not steep too. If you are not expecting too much of a service and want a quiet place, this is OK. Looks like they are managing on a skeleton staff. If I get better choices there, I would move out!

Rooms are below average. I think all rooms got balcony, that was quite nice and good view from outside. It is a bar hotel and that is add on advantage. No much options there in malappuram, very few hotels are there.

Soorya regency is the only available 3 star hotel in Malappuram.Staffs are very friendly and service minded. Reaching hotel is bit difficult but front office will help us to get taxis.

Very nice hotel for staying with family. Very polite staff. Clean and spacious rooms. We had tried to take rooms at two other hotels which was supposed to be higher category, but was disappointed with moldy smelling rooms in those hotels.

Good atmosphere. But some servants who serve in the local bar are not good. They drink and treat us badly. Sumeshettan is better person.

Security staff are very rude and not guest friendly.They are the first one who welcomes us if they are not good then everything Will go wrong. Today I visited around 12 .25 pm the security in the gate shouted when I was parking my car.I am visiting there for the first time and I dosenot know the parking place instead of directing me he shouted as if I come there for war.
