The bridge is badly in need of repairs which are being carried out. But very slowly. What impressed us for which we are a quick stop was the kaash flowering on the river and its banks.

One of the oldest bridge made by the British for transportation of goods and lately for passengers. It is still bearing many memories of early days . Connecting Birbhum and Bardhanman district, this bridge is so well constructed that it is still carrying so much weight. Scenery on both sides is mesmerizing.
