Old temple but was renovated recently.Reaching there is difficult as connectivity is not good.Avoid going in rainy season as the place gets flooded.

I went to this temple with friend and their family.This temple is generally known as #Baba Mahendra Nath hindu temple.It is located as Mahen village .The temple houses Lord Bhole NathStone Shiwling in standing posture, separately housed within the premises. The temple is maintained very neat and tidy. it is painted white and looks very nice. There is lots of god painting on the wall around the temple And Behind the temple there are a beautiful pond And lots of shope around the Temple . The structure is as per vedic styles, prevailing in south india. There were priests, with vedic knowledge, conducting various ceremonies pertaining to the temple poojas etc.this temple was crowded. there was a marriage getting solemnised in front of the deity, when we visited the temple.Peaceful place to visit. Nice ambience. Good to go there with family. Should never miss a place like this .10 minute drive from Madnpur .. Can be a bit hot on warmer days because of the sun reflecting on the tiles. If youre nervous about not knowing the customs, I say just go! Feeling very peaceful The people there are all very nice and happy to show you which way to go. My son loved walking by all of the animal statues and making their animal sounds. There are also a lot of westerners there just to take pics, so it is open to all !Jai Bhole Nath 🙏🙏.,..,..,

Its my native place and full of Devine. It is a temple of Shankar hi. An old one. I m visiting this place since my childhood. Whenever I go here feel so relaxed. Only issue is the pond behind it. It is not being maintained properly. Pond is full of fishes

The name of the village been derived from the Temples name...

I am very lucky that i am a resident of this holy and sacred village. At last i would like to say loudly JAI HO BABA MAHENDRANATH KI.

Mahendra Nath or Mahen simply is approximately 15 Kms from my home. Had only heard of it till got a chance to visit in August 2013. Realized that irrespective of how far you go in this world, the peace, tranquility and spiritual fulfillment comes from your own local gods and deities. Must visit and pay obeisance to Bhole Nath.
