Loved the laid-back ambience from the French lady who runs this place. Tasty food, although expensive. Loved the Golden Brown calamari and Prawns curry in coconut milk.The whole Mahabalipuram area sells high price food items due to the tourist place label.Worth repeating and recommended.

The place is on the first floor/shaded terrace. Very peaceful and comfortable at a 2 min walk from the main Mahabs beach.The food is lovely.Should try the fusion french dishes.I tried the prawn fry, roast chicken, crepe.Rudra is the cook and is from Nepal. He makes lovely juicy momo. Must try.The fresh cold pressed juices and the tea is awesome as well.You have the option of seating on the mattresses on the floor or chairs or couches.Laxmi hosted us and I had the loveliest of conversations with my friends here.A must visit if you’re in Mahabalipuram.

One of the best restaurants in the Fisherman’s colony! We loved the decor, the food and almost everything. They are kid friendly too and the owner is kind and polite. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Mahabalipuram. Pizza was yummy and so was the momo in the soup! Crepe was nice too!

2 week-end before I went to the Yogi restaurant, the owner and master French cooker Fabienne invite us for a diner between 2 rains. Ambiance cool mixed with Tamil and European culture.

Fresh fish and very nice Chef special sauce

It is small restaurant very close to the beach. They will customize the meal for you or make a dish of your liking. We tried the Mozzarella sandwich, pineapple pizza and veg Thali. Everything tasted good. The Thali was basic but had a homely feel to it.

This is one of the finest restaurant located in main of Mahas very close to the sea shore. You have loads of French Indo options here. I tried out Margaretta and Mixed Veggie pizza and loved both the flavors. Margeretta pizza is the must try when you are veggie.Also I tried out Sweet Lime and loved its taste, for people like me who love tasting fresh juices without sugar you would love its taste.Reveiw would be incomplete without mentioning its very pocket to done out here.

Great place to have lunch or dinner. Interior is great. The sitting arrangement is great too. You can comfortable sit on the floor as well, they have kept some nice cushions. Its quite comfortable. Best is the hospitality, everyone is so welcoming and warm. They even not charged for some food which took quite long to serve. They also took all our small changes requirement for food as well. I would recommend it for everyone.

The cost is way to high for the quality of food. Sandwich prices at 200 is worse then the roadside for only tomatoes, onion and cucumber. Got lasagne and the same veggies which was in the pizza was given. I would say strictly vegetarian should not try this restaurant here at all. The total amount spent was 1100 and I can imagine why no one else were there other then our families.

Lasagne was really good. Creamy cheesy and boiled vegetables .The ambience is great.We tried only veg, its the best in mamallapuram.

Rudra is an amazing cook and a friendly host. He makes food taste like home. We had ameal of fish and pizza and he excelled at both. Thank you Rudra for feeding me and my husband well.

It is one of the best restaurants in Mamallapuram with lovely people and best environment. We had ordered prawn biryani and it was great. We met the owner Ms. Fabian, Mr. Vasi and the cook over there. These people are just amazing and Ms. Fabian is one enthusiastic and a good vibe women who I have ever seen. You should definitely go to this restaurant to know how good these people are and definitely to taste the amazing food they deliver. Since we had a late night dinner, Ms. Fabian and Mr. Vasi decorated the place with their awesome dance and band. I had a great time over there and I love these people and their foooooood. ❤️😇

One of the best places in Mahabalipuram to have Franco Indian Food! The best part is the quality of service and food. Dishes are prepared as it is supposed to be prepared....not too spicy..not too blunt... just perfect!!All I can say is...Mamma Mia!!

Food options are good. Menu options are a bit more focused towards foreign tourists, even though it does mention its Indian - Franco.They only accept cash so thats a bit of an issue in these days of cashless transactions.

Went here for lunch on Apr 14 with my family. There was just one more couple there for lunch. The food was ok. We ordered all vegetarian. They are quite good with hospitality. Offered my son a piece of cake in the end which he said was delicious cos in the beginning my son mentioned that he was a chocolate lover. Felt the pricing could be better but as a one time experience it was ok.

Great place to just lay back n relax. The place is similar to a shack, but on the first floor n its close to the sea. The menu has a wide range of food items and drinks. 2 of us went to have brunch on a Saturday morning. The place was pretty empty...looked v cosy. We ordered barbecue prawns and tawa fish. The staff is extremely polite. Prawns were so tasty.... although it was not shelled, so everyone may not like it that way. Fish was huge n tasty. We could sit there for as long as we liked n it was amazing. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone n will absolutely visit again.

Just got back from a sublime dinner at this wonderful little restaurant. A touch of class in every thing I tasted, backed by the gracious owner - Fabienne, whose all conquering smile and wonderful staff. will leave you pampered. I felt guilty paying so little for this exquisite food, which deserves a michelin 3 star !!!

A roof top restaurant ideal for couples and even groups .The restaurant is having tables as well as cushions and sitting arrangments on the floor ,giving a laid back eating experience .The dimly lit lights are soothing and its beeezy up in the roof top. The place is small having not too much of holding capacity. Almost 30 people can hardly get to eat there together. The owner is a very nice lady and hospitable.Me and my friends visited this place just for some evening hunger. We had chicken lasagne and mama pizza,which I really liked. I m happy with the mint tea also, that was very refreshing. The interior is simple yet appealing.And yes for smokers,smoking is allowed. So overall a good experience and also glad we choose this restaurant.

Never expected such pathetic food at a seafood special restaurant. Calamari was chewy and had no taste apart from red chilli. Prawns were too small compared what was promised. Chilli chicken was not at all tasty. Even margarita Pizza was not good. Overall a place to avoid definitely. There are much better options. Dont visit seeing so many veg options here. You would definitely regret the experience. Just One thing good was the ambience.

On our way to Auroville we decided to stop by Le Yogi cos of our friends recommendation. And we are glad we chose to dine here. We ordered the fish with ginger garlic sauce which was excellent. Soft melting grilled fish with a tangy spicy sauce served with beautifully grilled veggies. Following that was the desert Banana flambee rum which was pure Heaven. Choose this place for some real good food and warm hospitality.

Visited this place 2nd time...i shud say the quality of the food was better the 1st time...orderd a pizza which was super spicy amd not cooked well, fried rice was average, amd lemon soda wit rock salt was tasteless..so not such a pleasant visit.

Food here is good. The main attractions are the todays special but those are bit costly. The ambience here is awesome especially at night. The desserts are so good and the people there are so friendly. Its bit different that usual restaurants. Must try.

One of the worst restaurant. Food was horrible ,super pricey no taste at all. Mineral water local brand price is 35 rupees, one Mountain Dew 35 rupees. 750 rupees prawn bbq they say as tiger prawn I think they have not seen tiger prawns ever. Forget about ambiance which is lower than a one star restaurant. For hand wash they kept shop which is horrible. Recommendation is not to waste money for such a cheap restaurant.

I ordered pasta with creamy sauce and prawns. I got all of that and nothing more. Not even salt or pepper was used. The price was way to high for the quality of cooking. they seem to know that tourists come only once.

This place is one of favorite place to grab some cheap beer and extremely good food. A great place by the beach to spend some time with your friends. The staff have always been extremely friendly and the entire atmosphere is so relaxing.

This place has a nice atmosphere but you should not expect more than that. They need a lot of time for preparing the food which is served in tiny portions. The prices for the meals are quite high, they have no WiFi against their writings on the walls and the toilets are dirty. I dont know for what they got their good recommendations. Maybe the place changed. Dont go there.

Located 2 min from the beach, it has a laid-back air, thanks to the diwan-style seating as well as normal cane-chairs seating. It oozes a hippie charm, indicated by the name itself, the musical chants and the warm and inviting decor. A great place for a quick meal or some leisurely lounging around while reading a book.

Give this place the miss. Extremely poor service and the person who I could only assume from his manner was the owner seemed extremely irreverent and arrogant. The food was decent but the management needs to take a good hard look at their attitude towards the customer.
