Ok in taste. Surprisingly they charge extra for green chutney even if you order a sandwich, they say we give sauce only along with grill cheese sandwich...even though the charge is nominal about Rs. 20/- but its really seems weird to tourists coming. I would suggest they should add Chutney amount to the sandwiches prices and give chutney along with it...because most of them need chutney only very few might be there who dont have chutney with sandwiches.

The management of the resources during the Peak Hours and managing the crowd of people waiting to get a chance to accomplish their dinner was great.The owner refused us the dinner mentioning that we are time bound and we cannot extend beyond a specific time. The Staff is provided with the best services accordingly.Quality of food is great. The taste is also great and its spicy as well as per anyones requirements.Great Service Team

Hotel Poonam was recommended by many people for vegetarian food. When we visited the hotel it was crowded but service was very quick than expected. We had Veg Punjabi thali and Maharashtraian thali and both of them were just amazing. Quality of food was awesome and quantity was too much. We couldnt finish everything. Food offered is very good at a very affordable pricing. Would really visit next time also for sure.

We stumbled upon this place during our trip of Mahabaleshewar. We had dinner here. Food is amazing! It was with minimum or no additives/soda. They have Maharashtrian as well as North Indian fare here. The quantity and taste is amazing! Complete value for money! Loved it. Will recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Theres some waiting (15-20 mins) during the peak season which might be a little inconvenient as its right in the middle of the main market and not a lot of space to wait.

The food was very tasty and the waiters are very cooperative. There is waiting time, so reach early.We tried Vegetable Egg Curry, it is so yum. This place is worth trying.

The waiter and the manager both did not pay heed to the request to make a sabzi with no salt or less salt at the least.Even for asking help for kids food, their response is nasty.Do not recommend this place at all.

Quality of food zero. None of the cuisines were worth even a try because we genuinely try all different types so that atleast one is useful. Foremost was the most arrogant and rude staff. Not at all welcoming and completely non-cooperative. Not just the staff people but also the seniors, person on the counter, manager, everyone was a complete NO NO!

Nice place. benefit of location. hotel is situated in main market. staff is very good. very coopertaive and polite behaviour. as far as free breakfast is concerned, there are very limited options for breakfast. Booked taxi for whole day from hotel itself, driver was very polite and explains you everything nicely.

They do not use food colours and even their normal drinking water is RO treated. The restaurant is always clean. The food is great too!

The hotel is located at the center of the city and just next to the main market and adjacent to the parking lot. We had booked two rooms and the rooms are decent and service is prompt. They serve veg food from hotel poonam one of the best restaurants in Mahabaleshwar and the veg foods are awesome. We ordered our lunch and we were so pleased that we had dinner in the hotel only. Though the non veg food was not at all good, they outsourced it from another hotel and they informed us beforehand. And the complimentary breakfast was very good. Overall it was a memorable experience. Keep up the great work and thanks for all the help.

I ordered veg handi, dal khichdi and 3 roti. I specifically told them to not make the veg handi spicy but to my surprise the gravy was very very spicy. Dal khichdi was also not that tasty. On top of this, I only got 2 rotis whereas I paid for 3.Pathetic experience with this restaurant. Will never recommend this to anyone.

Highly recommended this hotel to travelers. Right in the centre of Mahabaleshwar market. Clean and spacious rooms and lobby. Very supportive staff and receptionist. They indeed make you feel at home. We were out of drinking water at 3am the staff were sleeping but somehow I woke up a staff & he got 2 bottles of water for us, this indeed shows to what extend they go to make the customers happy. Hotel is pure veg but you have loads of non veg options outside, Also even Non veg lovers should try their veg food, its indeed lip smacking. South Indian food very ordinary

Good place to stay right at the centre of the Mahabaleswar market. Rooms are small but properly maintained and the best part is they have judiciously used up the space to have all the essentials present. The food from the Poonam Resturant below is pure-veg only. I tried out the breakfast and it was a costly affair, though the taste was good. The normal included breakfast with the hotel room is limited in quantity and is available till 09:00 AM only.Parking space is the only problem which i found. There is no dedicated parking and people have to park right outside the hotel. That is all fine when you have a 2-wheeler but when its a four wheeler, its a pain to find a single spot. Other than this i have no complaints on this place. One more slight annoyance is the price, although i got it for a discount from Cleartrip but regular ways of booking will be costly.

Located in the centre of the Market, easily visible. Looks hygenic, staffmen have their own kfc-like looking uniform. The food over here us very expensive..!! And often you see staffmen fighting over food with the customer, even with old people. They bring what they want to clear and then obscond that customer ordered for this, be very careful of those cheap tricks.The staffmen are very aggressive and are very attentive as soon as you find out any fault. Roti & 4 weeks old stale chapati cost 25/-. First they ask Roti or chapati and end up clearing old stock of chapati. Lot of cost saving seen, makti sabji served had only red oily water with countable grains of matki in it😂.Absolutely unsafe for vehicles, no parking at all. Rooms were left smelly, and they dont bother to listen.Travellers, If you walk further youll find much better food. Dont waste your time here.Tourists can however continue to overate this place.

Located in heart of Mahabaleshwar. Good service. Nice rooms. Nice Clean Toilet. 24 hrs Hot water! Rooms were equipped with TV, AC and Fan. Only thing is rooms are very next to the hotels restaurant so sometimes you can hear what they cook! Also Hotel staff speaks so loudly, you can hear it in the room I think this is the area where they need to improve. Also staff should keep lite smiles on their faces. But its a Good Budget hotel!
