Very nice collection, fare price

This is a very big store having branches across the state of tamilnadu. This branch like other branches has multiple floors with garments for all members of the family. It has wonderful collections with attractive prices. It also has a spacious basement car parking facility. With lift and escalator facilities the shopping is very convenient.

Clothes are high rate and poor quality.last year i bought one saree above Rs.10000/- using that cloth three times only but that cloth faded. Very worst shop. They are running the shop from only advertisement.

Prices are high. Quality average for kids.Car Parking is a nightmare below the store. Irresponsible behaviour of management squeezes the parking place, which may cause damage to other vehicle during parking or going out. If you are going with car, better avoid this store, choose other stores with ample parking.

No many collections. Whatever they have we need to buy if we want to take from Pothys only. Need improvement of a variety of collections to be procured and make customers happy to buy. People eagerly ask about bags and forget the quality of fabrics that they bought.

Nice place for family shopping

Pothys is brand of Clothing shops. It has variety of collections. It has branch all over Tamilnadu. In Madurai it is located in one of the busiest street near Meenakshi Amman temple. During festival season one could see a lot of heads with Pothys bags in their hands in this street. Its such a popular shop. Even though price seems to be a somewhat high compared to other shop we have to look into quality also, Its so good here. Now during COVID pandemic all precautionary measures are handled properly. Parking is available but during great crowds the situation is out of control. I would prefer to go by walk here which is hassle free. The collection of dress found here are awesome and beautiful. This is the reason for the crowd. They give discount during the festival time. As now Diwali is approaching I would recommend POTHYS for shopping.

I used to buy dress only in phothys since it started in Madurai , there is a lot of collections of dresses, toys , watches, jewelleries etc... I love the Shop workers patient to show the dresses to customers.

They dont even have gpay you have to wait for like an hour to pay online ... ok dress for people from rural areas but if you have some fashion sense stay away from this shop

Pothys is situated in the very main area were all the best brand stores are available. When u went in bike parking is the first issue. inwas asked to park before the entrance itself but the floor is slippery and i had to put straight stand in my bike and even then my bike felt slippery and went inside the shop with a bit of worry. Sanitisers are provided at the entrance but i was not taken a temperature check. Services provided by the employees are good and really satisfied with that. Prices are variable and we can choose according to the budget.Overall Good to visit.

The dress designs are good but the labour working there are not proper. My relative spent a hour choosing a saree and we told a work person told to keep it seperately and we went to check other things. When we return the saree is not there and that person told I will come back and went. He didnt came back. 1 hour has been wasted bcz of this. I hope things like that wont happen again

Good place to buy cloths.. other items are expensive. For example we enquire the price of flask and ss water cans, which are 3 times expensive than a famous utensils shop (Anantha/ Ajantha)..So I would recommend Pothys only for the purchase of cloths.. Dont buy other items!..

Liked their arrangement of clothes in a structured order. They have huge collections both for men n women. Cloth store for men has huge collection in the town. We can find the clothes in all the price range from low to high. Billing and delivery was neatly done. Finding the parking was difficult as it is in the hotspot of the town.

Believe if you have no idea about silk sarees then go to pothys & confirm your budget, rest is just your choice. Big showroom, walkable distance from Meenakshi Amman temple, quite easy to roam around & choose as it’s a saree mall specially for silk sarees. Price is decent, at least better from outside market where you have no idea of material that you might be buying in the name of silk.

We are going to shop in that shop they are not giving parking space for bike only they are allowing cars inside and we parked in road and we asked for a black saree within the range of 1500 they told to search in that rack and we asked to the staffs they said black Saree is only above 2000 and finally they said there is no black Saree within 2000 and we didnt purchased Saree...

One of the best places in Madurai for shopping. Couldnt find a better place than this. In fact it was a mall for all the handicrafts made and the speciality for the sarees and dress piece. Never been at such a place where you can get so many options for shopping for male as well as for females that too with fine quality at affordable rates. Loved it

Collections are good when compared to Chennai silks, well crowded too.Hospitality is not as great as Chennai Silks.Parking is often full they have a parking nearby the madana gopal temple which requires a full circle

A good place for shopping of textiles.

First of all, the shop is huge and has more collection than any other store in the city. But more number of collections doesnt mean good collections. Its just a mediocre ton of items that are more or less the same in every category. Its the shop aimed for the mainstream shoppers and its justified. And some people who worked here were rude with me, most were not. The main negative thing that I would say about pothys is, its area of location. With very little parking area, and with no parking space around the store its very hard for you to come and go out of the store during the rush time.

Poythys well known for their collections and customer from sorrounding district come for purchase.. mainly for auspicious wedding sarees.. we know pothys open at 9 AM.. I can see customer stand at get from 8.30 am.. what I felt uncomfortable is.. they dont even allow parking before 9 am.. at least the can allow parking by 8.30.. again once it open at 9.00 am. But the store is not all ready .. staff also comes at 9 am. They start broom after customer comes in.. as a professional I expect .either staff can come at 8.30 and get fully ready by 9.00 or the can make these cleaning in night shift with few staff ..or simply they can say pothys open at 10 am....
