I was a bit hesitant before I went there, but the stay was amazing. Zero complaints from my side. Online booking was only from 2 pm to 12 noon but I booked directly from the hotel and they gave me a 24 hour stay from my check in time. The owner was very clear about the booking. The receptionist, Balu was very humble.Overall great experience.P. S.: They dont have a restaurant but if you need something, theyll arrange.

We booked three rooms for a overnight stay. Rooms are spacious, bed and bathrooms are very clean, friendly staff, quick service, facility to dine by ordering outside food. Main area and value for money. Nice ambiences and u will feel home away from home.Total 15 rooms. 5 in ground floor and 5 each in first and second floor. Since there is no lift and we came with senior citizens, we booked ground floor rooms.Excellent place for short stays and we LL maintained.

A well maintained peaceful property for staying during your business travels. I took a single bed room and it was really comfortable and had no complaint about the stay.Car Parking : 3 cars can be parked comfortably but unfortunately if there are more residents with car during your stay, you may have to park on the road side, which can accommodate 3 more cars without objecting the main road..Dry cleaning : Just in case you need to wash your cloths u can ask the front desk for dry clean service as there is no provision like washer / drier in the facility.Heater : Solar heater is implemented and it may take a while to provide hot water but it was fine for me...Drinking Water : Water dispensers are placed in each floor and residents will be provided with a bottle & a drinking glass for each room, the same was good enough.. Even if you want a hot water, they do provide when ask the reception & also provides kettle on request..TV : channel subscriptions are ok and fine enough.Food facilities near by : There is budget food facility named Agam near by the facility and its less that 100m from the room. Decent enough for a short term stay. Also there is a super market just opposite to the facility & Ice cream parlor within 50m.Staffs : a very genuine staffs and they were helpful to the core on any request you made.. I have forgot my flask in the room when I checked out, they have called me immediately, I was just 2 KM away from the facility and I collected it back.Owner : Though I booked through bookings.com the owner ensured a smooth early check out and in fact suggested me to contact bookings.com and intimate the early check out. This happened after I have checked out the premise and she refund the extra amount paid via UPI...Excellent hospitality and felt really blessed to meet such good humans...

A cosy and decent place to stay in Madurai. Location is easy to find and accessible with parking facility. Clean rooms and bathrooms which is comfortable for the stay for one or two nights.

Avea is a very well maintained property in a prime location. Lots of shops, restuarants, ATMs and entertainment in walkable distance. Very clean, Well furnished rooms and spacious bathrooms. The staff are cordial and very helpful. I would recommend this place for a homely stay.

[Comfortable bed - excellent shower - quiet room - nice restaurants around] The very hospitable receptionist provided us with all information we needed for our short stay in Madurai (tuk tuk prices, opening hours, dress codes, temple ceremony). She suggested excellent local restaurants and explained how we would get our night train to Chennai. It is nice to be a bit away from all the other touristic areas. You can actually find authentic local restaurants. It is a 15min tuk tuk drive from everywhere (60 rupees). The terrace is shared, but the room was clean, calm and comfortable. We would stay here again.

In terms of b&b its very good. The rooms were decent, they even provided Split Ac in the room which was a plus point. The interior was also very attractive as when we enter there were some trees & plants on one side. Though parking area was a bit limited but it was fine.

The room had all facilities but was slightly small. They are very friendly and guide us. There are several restaurants and other amenities nearby. Very easy to locate and closer to matuthavanni bus stand. The guy at the reception is very soft spoken and helping in nature.They even have menu cards of restaurants in the neighborhood, if we order they will go and collect our order on our behalf !!!

Stayed in Avea for 2 nights. Located in an upscale neighbourhood of Madurai. Lots of shops, ATM, restaurants in the surrounding streets. Very helpful owners & staff. Breakfast is limited, but overall a very good price/quality ratio. Good AC, clean rooms... . We went to the cinema across the street, great fun... Beers available in a shop about 50m from Avea.

The maintenance of the property is commendably, they have maintained it very well. The staffs & their services were very efficient. Even the location was also very convenient & even transportation facility from this hotel is very good. Parking area of this hotel is decent as well. My overall experience was fantastic.

Very polite but totally inflexible in dealings. We were three adults and took a king suit (which had an extra large double bed) to accomodate the three of us. But they insist we take an extra bed, since there were the three of us. We did, and didnt use it either. Also no adjustment with my check in or check out times. Can check in only after 2pm and have to check out by 12 the next day. Also dont know why its call bed and breakfast if they dont serve bfast! Heck they dont have a restaurant. Went for a morning walk and arranged tea for ourselves! That all being said I have to say the rooms were good and well maintained. Bathrooms were excellent too. Kettle was bought to the room on request. Had a good rest.

Our stay in Avea B&B was just perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, available to help us at anytime. They gave us such as good recommendations of restaurants and places to visit during our stay in Madurai. The facilities and the room were extremely clean, and the price is very affordable, we paid 24€ for one night with breakfast included (20€ for the room and 4€ breakfast for two persons). WiFi worked perfectly well.Avea B&B definitely make a difference in India’s hotels.Thank you very much to the two women on the front desk that helped us a lot!! :) :)

I had booked this for a colleague who was in town for a wedding. The property is located opposite to Ambiga Cinemas, and is adjacent to Thanga mayil showroom, Anna nagar.The rooms, though small are well maintained and comfortable. Bathrooms are well cleaned. Though there is no restaurant within, you can order anything from the nearby hotels through the front desk.With pleasing decor and a reasonable prices, this is highly recommended for a small group of people who dont mind checking in late (Official check in time is 2PM) and who prefer a non smoking and non drinking atmosphere.

If you are a fairly low maintenance person on a frugal budget, then this is THE place for you.Neat and well-kept, the small place has just the right amounts of basic essentials for you to spend a couple days here. The vicinity of all the landmarks (majority with 6km) and shopping complexes, medical stores, restaurants makes the location excellent.Rooms are a bit small, but like I said, with their pricing I found it absolutely worth it.Keep in mind, there is no room service. But the water filter is right outside your gate, so we had absolutely no problems! Staff is extremely courteous. I was in touch with them several times during the planning process and they helped me with a lot of details. Makes a big difference to people like us, visiting the city for the first time.Highly recommended that you eat food outside. food was excellent (they arranged it on request), but I found it rather expensive compared with the small local restaurants in the city.

Very poor service, I booked through booking. com... One fraud Lady Maha called me from the property and said you cancel the booking Ill do a direct booking with Avea. But very shocking when I reached Madurai they said no booking is made and no room is free... After a great struggle I had to find another place at a very high price because of this wicked Lady Maha... Guys dont stay here that are cheating 😠😡😠😡

The concept of a family owned and run B & B is unusual in this part of the world. Some of the staff are students part time and it is to be commended that theyre also earning rather than being dependant on someone. The B&B is cozy, super clean with a great ambience. Staff and the owner friendly and respectful and participative in guests comfort. Also good value for money. Within walking distance of #AravindEyeHospital which was where we were headed.

Plus points: clean bed, clean room, clean bathroom, good lighting, polite staff, parking not much of a hassle. Negative points: pillow too big, missing floor mats, travellers need a table/chair inside room for eating. Overall nice and cost-competitive place to stay. Wishing Avea all the best.

The location of the hotel was convenient even, it was very peaceful as it was located near a temple. We went there by booking a cab & found that the transport facility from & to this hotel is also very good. The staff were very sweet a well, i really liked their hospitality.

A beautiful, neat and well maintained budget B&B hotel in Madurai City. The property is very well managed and spotlessly clean. The ambience and feel of property so good. Rooms are small but good enough for your stay. Wished there could have been a small cupboard available for clothes storage. The bed and bath linens were crisp, clean and fresh which was very pleasing and gave an assurance of home like feeling. The bath had shampoo, shower gel, bath soap and moisturiser. You have high speed WiFi network available but could not find an intercom facility for contacting reception. Room has a decent sized LED TV with DTH connection available with all popular channels. Overall the stay at Avea B&B was pleasant and I look forward to return for my next visit at Madurai.

Very average place. You can stop by for a nights nap during a long trip but not a place to enjoy your stay in Madurai. I booked the bigger room and the cost including taxes was equal to a good hotels room rent but not worth it.We got there late evening and the staff at the front desk did his job of getting us checked in. In hospitality industry it is important to take care of your customers. To just do the job, you dont need a person, you can install a bot.

The name is b&b: the bed is very small and they dont have breakfast 🤔.The room is veryyy small like a match box, no kettle, clean towels: yes, water complimentary: no, food: order from nearby places and get delivered here, the a/c starts and stops throughout the time it is switched on, TV works, not sure why this place had such great ratings, they provide nothing for the price they charge. The lady receptionist is good, the male receptionist at night is least bothered, nobody to help with the luggage. So, if your room is on the first floor, be ready to lug it.
