I went there on a Friday night and the experience was delightful. They were pretty much busy, so it took them a while to get us to order, but their recommendations were brilliant and the food arrived fast. They also had live music that night... which made the atmosphere so much better. I really loved the place and would totally recommend it.

I found out this was the first Indian restaurant in Madrid... It is tricky to find but the overall dinner experience was good. Food is very tasty and portions are usually larger than in other Indian places around the city. It could be pricey without a discount. The staff was very friendly and made sure everything was perfect. Id recommend sitting in the tent they have across the main restaurant.

The food was really authenticate with good service, and ambience (seating arrangements under the tent was something unique)...the quality was OK too..the prices are on the expensive side but you pay for the service, and quality of food..the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars rating is; Mango Lassi, it is no where close to what you expect in Lassi..

The food was very flavorful and fragrant, all very high quality and filling. Beautiful decor, inside and in the terraza. The staff are all very polite and attentive; we noticed a problem on our bill AFTER paying, and the waiter had no problem fixing it for us. All COVID protocols are followed. I highly recommend. It was especially good for a large group (we were 10 with a reservation)

Very good food with right blend of aromatic spices, courteous service, beautiful decor truly representative of Indian culture, heritage, colors, flavours and more. Saffron walls, wooden furniture, maharaja portraits, soft folklore-inspired Bollywood songs or even live classical Indian music, artefacts from all over the country, all makes you feel at home.

Went based on the ratings. Its a nice place. The terrace was nicely decorated. The service was fast and the waiters were very helpful. I had the Indian experience menu. No to so impressed. The appetizers were fine. The way they were fried looked very gross. The main dish (chicken vindaloo) was good. It was hot as hell (as expected) but perhaps too many cloves and cardamom that gave it a strong taste (had to take several pieces from my mouth during dinner). Rice was ok. Dessert was good.

It was expensive because we went a family of six but it may be just fine for a couple on a special day or just as a treat.35€ plus VAT for a full menu is uite comprehensive.Food is surprisingly very very tasty and more for people not used to those different spices such as cloves, curry or cardamom which are not very used in Mediterranean dishes. All in all, great place for an escape and to try something different.Lovely staff, by the way. Attentive, patient and very calm. The environment is magical. We really enjoyed it even during the hot summer weather. They put some silent big fans in the terrace that made our visit more comfortable, otherwise, we could not have been stayed there even with the big gazebo.

Obviously it would be better to get this without asking.Overall quite good but expensive. One to save for a special occasion perhaps

Very very poor Indian food at extremely inflated prices. Chewy paneer, tasteless chicken tikka, lousy butter chicken in some sort of a cheese sauce with parsley, brown palak paneer which looked a few days old. All this at 50 Euro per person. The Bangladeshi-run joints in Lavapiés make tastier food at one fifth the cost. Get your act together Ganges!! You are ridiculing your culinary legacy.

Great place with a very cozy terrace and some very tender and spicy dishes. The service is very helpful and polite, the recommendation of the dishes has been very adequate. It is true that the menu does not explain much what each dish contains, but the description given by the waiters made you want to order the whole menu. The medium spicy lamb curry was delicious, and the butter chicken is a delicacy. Ordering it with rice to accompany it is an essential requirement. The desserts were very rich too, the pistachio ice cream is very soft and creamy just like the mango.I would go back to try all the curries they have !!

It is an Indian food restaurant. The terrace is very cozy and original as it looks like a tent, it is as if you were transported to India. The food is good but the lamb is quite chewy. The service is good, fast, pleasant and helpful. The price is expensive. Now with confinement you have to reserve

Loose from my point of view, the tandori chicken a bit dry and a bit scarce. Lamb like that, .. yes, good sauce. The garlic bread, too much garlic. The flavored rice was good in flavor if somewhat dry. In general it has a pass, I suppose that COVID affects, as is normal. Of course attentive and dynamic. And they cleaned their hands with hydrogel every little bit, a detail.

We let ourselves be recommended, especially since we were going with two girls of 7 and 8 years old: very good recommendations.I dont know that much about Indian cuisine, but it seemed all great to me.And ... why dont I give it 5 stars? Well, because the portions were very small and the prices were quite high for what they served you. A shame But the rest great.

It never disappoints. I have been going to this restaurant for more than 17 years and the truth is that it never disappoints. The food is always outstanding, the staff super friendly. This last time we went, we had dinner on the terrace / tent that they have set up in front of the restaurant and it is very nice. It is fortunate that there are still places where you can return and trust that if something has changed, it has only been for the better. As a suggestion, it would be good if they added to the menu what ingredients each dish has so that one knows more or less where to throw. I would swear that this was the case when they gave physical cards, but with the QR menu this option is no longer available and one goes a bit blind.

Great Indian food restaurant, a classic in Madrid that has managed to maintain quality and good work year after year.It has a wonderful terrace, very pleasant when the weather permits. In addition to having a good Indian food for lunch or dinner, you can enjoy, both on the terrace and inside in winter, concerts of very pleasant Hindu music that does not interfere with the conversation while you enjoy the wonderful cuisine.Although it has a good wine side, for the type of cuisine I recommend drinking beer or just water. The value for money more than satisfactory.Well located near Príncipe de Vergara and near the Castellana, a place that you should not miss.Take away food is allowed and also, depending on the distance, they take it home via the different operators.Highly recommended.

Disappointment. We were looking forward to trying this restaurant in case we liked to come back in summer for the terrace that has so impressive but we will not return. It was my partner and I, we were disappointed by the taste of the food compared to other Indians and the price quite expensive for the quantity and quality. The lentil bread that they put on the appetizer table had no sauces, we had to ask for them and they were very far there, one was sweet and red (we expected tamarind that we love) and another mint green (in other places it is richer)From the starter we ordered aloo tikia which are like cheese stuffed potatoes, very normal. From second chicken tikka massala little quantity and higher price than other sites, taste very similar to others I think this was what we liked the most. The rice was the worst, we have tried other kasmiri pilau and we did not like it, with too many things but without that characteristic sweet taste. The bread with cheese very similar to the rest.By the way, beer charges 3.5 and coffee 3 euros ...And a very ugly detail to some people took the coat and kept it and not us.That said, disappointment, we will not return.

Indian restaurant with great baggage. The restaurant has two different areas, the restaurant and the terrace, both set with Hindu motifs. The service is very attentive, they have a cloakroom service, they accompany you to the table, they serve the first drink, among other details. The food is really good, although the portions are not particularly plentiful. For starters we ordered: Eggplant Pakoras, Baija Onions and Tandoori Chicken. The best were the Pakoras, although the Chicken was very tasty.Of main: Chicken Tikka Massala, Cordero Ganges, accompanied by a Naan of cheese and a Pullau rice with saffron.Highly recommended to take advantage of the offers in the fork, your website or in applications, because otherwise the price / quality ratio is unbalanced.

As an experience the truth is very cool, the tent they have is spectacular, all decorated and with the typical Hindu atmosphere. There was even live music, super well placed tables, with lights, lanterns ... and great in that aspect. The service of the waiters very well also, they approached you in case you needed something at all times and they served you food relatively in a short period of time. The food is really good, but even so, weighing everything, it is very expensive for the portions that they put, for example if you ask for the tandoori chicken they literally put 5 pieces of chicken. In short, it has been a very good experience, but the truth is quite expensive.
