Government Agricultural College and Research Center is being operated in Kampa, Post Birkoni, District Mahasamund. This college is being operated in the resort located at Kodar Nala National Highway of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board. Nearly 80 acres of the adjacent land has been transferred to the college by the Government of Chhattisgarh. This land is being developed, agricultural research work, research work related to horticulture, student experimental area is being constructed. Presently, B.Sc agriculture first and second year classes are being conducted in this college, in which about 60 students of the state are studying.
