I am an ex-MAAC student. It is among the worst college for animation. Don’t go for any advertisement or any top 10 list. Student normally attracted to college/institute based on infrastructure and location. Dont get me wrong, they are just lure you first at admission, its easily to getting in trap, after you pay, they getting their behavior change when you will ask what they promised before admission and so called counseling, in simple words before admission yes,yes. After admission,... think about it you have nothing to do with that your believe and money!Good teaching faculty should be the first priority. There is generally only one good teacher in one branch whose pay grade is 30,000 - 70,000. Rest of teachers are getting salaries around 7,000–18,000. MOST OF THE TIME you will be studying from the low salary teachers, who themselves dont know what they are teaching. This should give you an idea how much you are paying and what services you are getting.Generally, there is batch of 10 students paying rs 3,60,000 each for 3 years and they have been teach by rs 10,000 pay-grade teacher. This calculates as 90% profit ratio for the person owning that institute.(rent , maintenance ,franchise charges extra.)So, you are paying fees to college for your study and instead you will be fooled for 3 whole years. And at the end of 3 years you would know that college will only give placement to 3–4 students out of one batch. Pay scale of placement would be rs 10,000 per month.Don’t go for college based on first presentation given by them instead go with the college after talking to students which are studying in that college. Seniors studying in last year will guide you with best answers.People who are joining or want to join are just thinking they are getting degree or diploma or whatever they called! After will sure by job. Are just thinking that after joining they will have life that, and will able to say we are doing career oriented diploma or degree and thinking we are doing fun,study and great everyday.If you truly want to do something in this field, know your current situation and what you want to learn, for this: what are the skills needed for this feild, because of computer age, know which softwares are you need to learn, search on web, youtube, internet, their interfaces, difference between, and choose your best bet, and learn, but dont pay for it just to learn how to run that software, because you need skills in this feild for your future work not how to run their softwares and these institues are just teach you on software and how to use thier tools, this can happen(trust me)/help from articles, from youtube, learning by trying, people who are already in this feild, assist professionals(this can help you out, not only on how to use tools, also on nature and skills needed for your creativity and also these contacts can help for work/job for you). If you cant get out/lazy enough before research first on your future learnings, without concerning it before, you also cant do something after that for your future or you are not serious enough for what you doing or also want just simply a place where you can sit for a day and can say, im studying there and thinking you are doing something for a day. YOUR FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS!If you have passion, there are other many ways to learn this art (books, blogs, youtube, these softwares are just tools to learn, it can possible by your own or many other ways. Passionate people search their ways of possibilities. So make it happen.Above are my experiences with MAAC and my review.
