Well constructed. Not much shops opened as it is in old city of Lucknow.We in UP spit here n there as Lucknow males have the peculiar habit of spitting red everywhere.The Lucknow people does not deserve good things.

Railway station and metro station is very good but one star for the road. The main road which turns towards railway station and metro station {the T point) is very bad. Big pits and the sewage water is lying everywhere. The condition of the road is very bad and unhygienic. This road also gives a feast to the accident. Its very disappointing and a big black spot to Lucknow.

It is a great service for people who are looking to reach from the main railway station to the airport.

Metro service is good with great benefit to have the station close to the station.These days the number of people taking metro is also fewer, hence seating is not an issue.I have a concern with the token vending window operators. Having seen Delhi metro, I feel they need to increase their vending speed. That extra time in the queue makes a difference. Also, with volumes expected to increase over the next months this will come handy.

The brand new metro service in Lucknow is a great upgrade to commuting in the city. Reasonable fare and very clean stations makes this a joy. Would definitely recommend. Better than the incredibly lawless traffic zipping about everywhere all at once.

Huge Modern Metro Station Infront of Lucknow railway station.

A well maintained and less crowded metro station with modern amenities. All the staff members are cooperative. It is elevated metro station located on the Red Line of Lucknow Metro in the city of Lucknow Uttar Pradesh. This station is operated by Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC). There are two platforms. Platform 1 to Munshi Pulia & Platform 2 to CCS Airport. Blue line is in under construction with two more platforms. Opened on 5 September 2017 (Red Line). Till date it has 4 lifts/elevators.

Nice construction, well maintained metro station. Fares are cheap(Rs.20 ride to Krishna Nagar). This metro station currently serves as the last station on the newly inaugurated red line with only platform 2 currently being used for both boarding and de-boarding(The red line is yet to be extended till Munshi Puliya).The situation on the ground however is not so good. The exit from railway station has become congested due to this metro construction. Along with the road encroachment by people it has increased traffic woes for people not travelling by metro.

In 19th century ,the next important station in the north after Delhi was Lucknow. It was the headquarters of the Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway (O&RR) whose first line from Lucknow to Kanpur was built in April 1867.Built at a price of ₹ 70 lakhs, Lucknow Charbagh was designed by J. H. Hornimen. The foundation of the railway station was placed in March 1914. The building was completed in 1923. A major role in its design and planning was carried out by Chaubey Mukta Prasad, a consulting engineer for Ms Lanebrown and Hulett. It has a large garden in front of the building. It incorporates the mix of Rajput, Awadhi and Mughal architecture and has a palatial appearance.Architecturally, it is considered one of the most beautiful railway stations in India. The Government Railway Police station at Lucknow Charbagh holds an ISO 9001 certificate....I would like to give 8/10 marks for clarity of station... Little need of cleaning .... rest of all are good.

From charbagh u can get buses or trains easily to move to any other state or any other city. One can get auto, rickshaw, city buses, metro very easily to go to any corner of the lucknow city. Alambagh bus stand is also near to it, around 4-5 kilometers and to go to almbagh bus stand, Auto, e-rickshaw, metro, city buses are available very easily and frequently. Lots of restuarents, hotels for staying purpose are also there. In charbagh during winter season, every year Tibbet market is held, where u can purchase winterwear of good quality. Lucknow railway station(Station code LKO also called as badi line) & Lucknow junction(Station code LJN also called as choti line) are also in charbagh. If u want to go to another city in AC bus, then u can get it from alambagh bus stand.

Charbagh metro station is situated just infront of Charbagh railway station. It is well maintained station with modern amenities installed. Right now, metro service is available between Transport Nagar and Charbagh but in near future it will be extended to other prominent parts of Lucknow.
