It was a great stay at this Hotel, however I only stayed there for 4-5 hours. The place was wonderful, easily accessible from the train station. Finding the place, the rooms are nice and clean, but the thing that makes this place a great place to stay is the staff .Return everything you have learned about this wonderful Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there and I hope to come back. Location is great, our suite (they upgraded us) was lovely and we had a terrace! YES. The staff is patient and helpful (dont think anyone has ever slept). I wish I could stay longer - the next budget hotel and the more profitable staff ..... and the food prices are good and helpful staff. you cant say that the room was neat and tidy but on this budget it is superb. The experience at sumitra was awesome. Ive hosted a party for 40 relatives for 3days. There was not a single complaint. The food, the air conditioning, the toilets, the service, the staff, their behaviour... everything was up to the mark.

Believe everything you read about this charming Hotel. We so enjoyed our stay there and I hope to return. The location is perfect, our suite (they upgraded us) was lovely and we had a terrace! WOW. The staff is wonderfuly patient and helpful (dont think any of them ever sleep). Wish I could of stayed longer - next time..........

The Staff is non reachable through the use room , I mean the phone number of reception was not mentioned anywhere . There were no WiFi password mentioned anywhere.The hotel price is quite high as compared to the rate at which they offer you a Non-AC room.The condition of the room is also not very well. And its too small.

Appox 1 km from charbag station, recommended for short duration stay, basic amenities available, staff is friendly, only drawback is that lift is not available so may be problem for aged people otherwise property is good on main road near market.

Though the alloted me was small and without window etc. But for a tourist family hotel it is not only situated in wonderful location but also touring support and pick up from station and drop down to station in very helpfull for a small family. Since it is veg area foodind for non vegetarian is a problem.

Please dont book for room without TV. It is their servants room. There is no glass in the window and room is so dirty and pathetic. Mosquitoes​ were there. They charged it Rs 450/ night which is totally unreasonable and inappropriate. I had booked the same for three days. For two days they accomodate me in a good condition room but for one day I had to stay in that pathetic room. I have shared pictures of both the rooms. Room service is also poor. You have to call them again and again for a service. There are multiple stories in hotels building but no lift or elevator is there.

Pillows had a hole in it, Washroom was very congested and had lot of stains.Service: There was no provision of Soap, handwash liquid, Towel etc. In short you need to get all the basic things on your own.Breakfast: I had an Aloo paratha which had vey less aloo. Cost was ₹44.The room service was also very slow.Overall I went for a good night sleep which was also not fulfilled.

NEVER EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL I AM ADDING PICTURES WHICH SPEAK FOR ITSELF.PAID 1000for this rubbish and moved to another hotel as soon as we found one .The room was disgusting and unfit for even an animal to stay in it, it SHOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT AL.The room was stinking of humidity and toilets.The toilet was was foul ,flush was broken, toilets looked like never been cleaned.There was a cool cage in the room which was full of dust - merely touching it would give you infection.The hotel stank , I walked in with covered nose.

Please if you can, stay away from booking on MakeMyTrip – my honest review and appeal to all.I traveled to Lucknow on 15th December 2017 and it was my first time. Booked online both Shatabdi and hotel. Hotel in question here is Sumitra. I already paid for my 2 nights/3 day visit prior but when I reached Sumitra Hotel, they adamantly asked for 300 extra. I had to call MakeMyTrip but they passed the buck on call even before 2 days after booking I spoke to MMT about extra person and they said they only need Primary information and not the extra person. Anyways, paid 300 bucks upfront at hotel for flaw in MakeMyTrip operations and mind you this is entirely unethical as whether it was 300 or 3000 they should inform or state on their website.My hotel ordeal didn’t last there, when I checked out on 17th at 12 noon, they again asked for 300 bucks extra. Hotel manager / owner who is a Sardar (can’t recall his name) and no pun intended – said, we told you 300 extra “per night” when in reality he said only 300 extra at time of check-in – smartass.All in all, I strongly condemn MakeMyTrip and Hotel Sumitra for their unethical, absurd and unprofessional tactics of phishing customers.I also appeal to the brand ambassadors who are Alia Bhat and Ranveer Singh to kindly take a note of it – I believe you’re morally liable if people are getting ripped off their money by brand you endorse. People of all ages follow and admire you both, but look at the brand you are endorsing. I have call recordings and print outs of MakeMyTrip bookings/on-call for referral of NOT apprising me of extra guest details while booking hotel from their online platform.You already have ripped me off my hard-earned money and I guess hundreds if not thousands by using same tricks/scam.
