Excellent place to go with friends.Food was delicious. We had the teriyaki chicken and the coconut fried rice with beef empanada. The coconut fried rice was very tasty and it had shrimp and green peas.Next time we might try something different.I highly recommend this place, so you can try different kind of food.
Good service. I had the jollof rice with beef stew, and fried plantains. Rice was fantantic, however the stew meat was tough and the portion was very small (maybe only 3 chunks). The plantains were the best that Ive ever had, caramelized to perfection. I never knew that they could taste so sweet and full of flavour!
Food can be better. The Suya isnt exactly Suya, very hard to chew and not cut into bite size pieces at all. I may probably try other items on the menu but stay away from the Suya!
Its very unfortunate that this supposed african restaurant had been highly recommended to me by a friend, at last I ended up so disappointed with the service and food I got. Firstly, the attendant was not smart nor cheerful in attending to us, couldnt understand or communicate well too.. at last the goat meat pepper soup was so horrible, I dont know if they added tomato paste to it that made it so red like stew, tasted very poorly and the meats were basically not even in it, instead they were basically bones in it. I couldve spent my money elsewhere on something better really. It was a wasted money. I wont reccomend.NB- basmati rice is not a regular african rice, when people order for white rice in an african restaurant they want parboiled rice and not basmati rice. Basmati rice should be given to people who specifically request for it.I ordered for white rice and pepper soup and got basmati rice in my order and I dont know why
The Okro soup was the Bomb! thoroughly enjoyed it. it lighten my mood and the spicy suya, wow! Good job
Delivery takes way too long every time. Order online only if you’re ready to wait almost 2 hours to eat. It’s not worth the wait.
The Service leaves a lot to be desired in punctuality and accuracy. Our orders have been delayed and incomplete more than once. Please look into correcting this. The portions are also very small for the cost. It would also be helpful if all the ingredients in listed dishes were disclosed so that customers with allergies wouldnt be surprised. For example, the Moimoi has cornbeef but isnt listed in the menu as an ingredient.
Was not satisfied with sambhar and dosa, were too bland. The Thai coconut curry was good though.
The best tasting food i have experienced . Global Pot Fusion cuisine are very professional and have a great menu diversity that leads to a palatable experience. I highly recommend Ordering from their menu for take out or delivery. You wouldnt regret it. I wish i could give this a 7 star for review.
Unbelievable food. Very tasty. I only give it four stars because they goofed up on 3 out of our 4 orders. If that wouldn’t have happened, it would be an easy 5 star. They rectified the situation, however and gave us our correct orders. The disorganization is my only complaint. But it was worth it for the great food.
Very good
I get a chance to taste food from different parts of the world at different times when I visit. I’m never disappointed!! It’s really like being in different places at once!
I was impressed the first time I ate here. Great service. Finding a table to dine can be tough sometimes.
Have eaten here numerous times and it is always delicious! Their vegetable samosas and butter chicken are especially yummy. Always great service and prices are fantastic!
Wonderful, locally owned Indian place. It is very casual, but dont let that stop you from having a nice family dinner from here! The food is top notch, and the service is fantastic.
Great and tasty food. Clean environment. Friendly people.
Best West African food in Saskatoon, a very broad selection of African, Asian and Indian food. Mostly Nigerian food but very impressive. I only give them 4 stars because I ordered from skip the dishes and I havent been in store.
Amazing food! the best Indian food in Saskatoon.Service is even better, feel free to ask about anything unfamiliar on the menu, they will be glad to explain what everything is.Highly recommended
Enjoyed it very much. Good people, butter chicken and samosa was tasty. Too bad it was all on Styrofoam with plastic utensils. Will return.
Great tasting food. Clean establishment. Great prices and very nice owners. Great place to get Indian food. If you have a hankering for butter chicken or anything that goes with naan, then come here.
Excellent food and friendly staff! One of the best places in Saskatoon to eat! Delicious!!
Great customer service and delicious delicacies. Unique menu every week, something to look forward to.
Food was good but took quite a while to get. I was the only one there around 12:20pm on a Monday and it took more than 10 minutes once I had ordered and paid. I dont think Ill be bale to go again on a 30 minute lunch break.
Its a food joint ! Not a restaurant per se. Just beside the Sask liquor store on 8th street. Great food. Nice people ! Locally owned! Their dosage is the best in town! And u can order on phone and pick it up later !
Lovely food, lovely servers, it makes me miss nigeria sooo much! 😭
Very good taste. Good customer care. Quick food service. Economic price.
Awful serviceWent in to pickup my food, the lady at front was grumpy as heck. All I wanted! was some suggestions on food.
Sooo yummy. family owned, fresh food made right in front of you and good prices!
One of the best Chicken Kadhai i had.. it was tastiest treat I ever had... Thank you Samosa King for making me feel like home...
Great food and service. We mostly use for take out as there is only 4-5 tables in there. Also have gluten free and vegan options. Highly recommend.
The restaurant is very clean, and the service is excellent. I get Healthy African food here all the time.
Excellent take away Indian food. Ive been there several times and today our office had food catered from Samosa King. Budget friendly and delicious.
You will not be disappointed - the food is phenomenal. My new favorite place.
Delicious meals served fresh .. loved the coconut rice .
The best food. Great friendly service. Just awesome. A must try for sure! I am addicted.
Great food! And very nice employees. Quick bite.
Good tasty snacks with reasonable prices. Serves hot and fresh food.
The food is exceptionally good. Freshly prepared and delicious.
Good food, great taste, best service and FRESH items. Definitely a must to try place
Easily the best Indian food in Saskatoon. Great service, nice guys. Love this place!
Never disappoints, food is really good, workers are friendly, price is right and facility is clean. 10 thumbs up!
Very delicious African meal
Esiewu from Global Pot Fusion Cuisine is the best I have had in Saskatchewan.
Food was awesome. Will definitely go back. Great prices
Awesome food and great service. Always friendly and always delicious. Never had a bad meal here.
Have visited quite a few times and everything I have tried was excellent. Super friendly staff.
They have very good Dosa.
I totally enjoyed the buttery chicken on rice with naan bread. A good little East Indian restaurant. Worth looking for.
Amazing. Loved everything so far. Maybe as a critique to make better naan but besides that awesome.
Awesome experience! Best customer service ever! And best sweet lassi in all over CANADA! Try it for sure!✌🏼️
Found day-old food. Taste was ok. Had to throw out food.
The food was great, nice big portions and they even gave some new stuff to try for free. I just a great time here.
One of the best Indian/South Indian snacks restaurant. One of the best pav bhaji and dosa in the city
Love the samosas! Always fast and friendly service.
This place is awesome and so is the owner. He works hard to provide the best. Low prices especially for how much food you get. Absolutely delicious!!!! Of course my fav is the butter chicken with Chana Masala.
All the food are awesome. I am big fan of Samosa king
Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Whats not to love?
Worst place to go and eat. Me and my husband went there first and last time. We ordered Dosa and there was a dead bugs in the sauce that comes with Dosa. NOT ONLY 1 DEAD BUG but 3 or 4. Never going there again. PLACE SHOULD GET INSPECT AGAIN PROPERLY.
LOOOOVE the samosas! Best place in town. Their butter chicken is also delish and theyre like the only place on 8th street that does donair!
Have not experienced their new location, but when this place was in the Centre Mall it was the best place you could go to in the area. Most of the food is made fresh and the owner/cook running the place is happy to adjust flavours to your liking or explain dishes you may not be familiar with.
Not a fancy place to eat but the quality of food and service is the best in saskatoon
Sorry to write this, chicken biryani turned out to be useless as opposed to past. I don’t know if it’s fried rice, pulao or just curried rice. Extremely disappointing especially when I’ve had perfect one from here.
Love thier masala dosa.....
Delicious food at a good price. Vegan options available.
Worst place to spend money.Sambar was served cold and was just plain lentil soup. No vegetables or any flavor in it.Dosa was premade and they just warmed it with more oil and edges were still cold. Asked to add onions and they didnt add any.Vada paw had old patty inside.Doesnt have option to give less than 1 star. Wouldnt suggest to spend money.
Had to wait long time to get our order. As i ordered for take out I was set for a surprise. Samosa was good. But I must say I am not going to get Chicken biryani from here. It was no where close to Biryani standards not even the ingredients were matching what a briyani must have. It was simply chicken pulao. I also called them complaining about it and they said we are sorry as we are busy today. Totally disappointed.
Never had a bad meal. They have the best Indian food in town.
Great food friendly service priced better than fast food and just as quick
Taste is good. Samosa size is small n pakoras are less in quantity comparison with prize.Giving 4 stars for taste n quality.
Awesome Indian food, great staff, easy access, good atmosphere and clean place.
Its the only indian food in the city that I find authentic and reminds me of my moms cooking! So sad to find it closed yesterday. Are the owners opening up somewhere else at all?
Ill put it simply: this place is awesome. Everything about it. I moved to Calgary and I miss this place.
The staff are the best part about this place. they are so kind, helpful, and honest!
Food is nice and great customer service 👌
On way to Edmonton I stopped their to have food amazing place very good and delicious food very good for vegeterains. Highly recommended.
I have tried plenty of Indian cuisine all over between the Yukon and Saskatchewan and this is by far one of the best if not the best in saskatoon. I Love it the good quality and the service is great A+++
The food is awesome and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They are happy to explain the menu and discribe the different menu items that Im unfamiliar with( which is most of them :P) I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Very nice place to eat authentic indian food and clvi gave exceptional customer service. Will come back again for sure
Great Dosas ... simple eat in/take out for classic Indian food ... next to the liquor store on 8th ...
Terrible food! They use donair meat with rice and call it biryani, if you like real Indian food do not eat here! This is not biryani and gives fabulous Indian food a bad name.
Visited with family for the first time, awful food. Everybody got vomiting and diarrhoea.Never gonna visit it again.
Stopped by for a quick snack. The people running it were really friendly (unsure if it was owners or staff). The butter chicken actually had a surprising amount of chicken in it. The naan was hot and tastey.Only downside was that the styrofoam to-go containers were good for keeping food warm for the drive home, but not recyclable.
Food to great , 1 less star for a lack of dining experience.
Small place not much big space . good food
Ordered a plain dosa. They charged full price for masala dosa and charged for cheese too. The amount of cheese on the dosa was negligible. Horrible
Great food, awesome service, owner is very friendly, Dosas are my favourite....my all time favorite place....just 😍love it...
My go-to place for South Indian food. Unpretentious restaurant with great tasting food. I usually get masala dosa with Andhra paste, which is just the right amount of spicy for me (there are other paste choices if you dont like that much spice). It comes with a couple of dips on the side and a bowl of lentil soup. The only thing that could enhance my enjoyment of the food would be a cup of chai, which they unfortunately dont have on their menu. However, they do have an Indian style cafe latte. They also have one of the cleanest washrooms at any Indian restaurant in town.
I was just stopping in to get a bottle of water and he gave me a sample of his butter chicken omg it was so good I went back after my errands and bought some. Best Indian food in YXE
Very few table to sit but, the food quality is very rare to find in Canada. If you are looking for specialy south Indian food that has not customized for Canadian, this is the place. The chef is very friendly therefore, if you born in Canada and like Indian food, you can ask him to make recommendations. New location is by the CIBC bank. Visit the place only for food. Sitting are congested.
I keep going back for the masala dosa, lovely!
Good Indian restaurant but the price is much higher compared to others.
Most authentic Masala dosas and sambar Ive had in a long time! The owner is really friendly and everything is well priced. This is my favorite place to eat when I go to Saskatoon.
Got donairs...the guy gave us free samosas and they were really awesome.
Went there for the Nigerian food. And it was quite good overall.
Awesome food, great service, good price
Mind blowing experience .The food was awesome. please do try the indian coffee. Felt like having coffee at the indian coffee house .
