I work in private sector so I dont get much free time but I really wanted to learn sitar as my mother taught me some basics of it when she was alive and I was young. So sitar is very nostalgic for me as it reminds me of my mother. I contacted Lotus Sitar class to learn sitar when my daughter told me that here I can learn from an expert and I can learn online If I cant visit due to lack of the time. So I joined online classes with the guru ji and I really enjoy these classes. Guruji is a very good teacher. She know the art and has mastered it over decades. This is the only place to go If you are looking forward to learn sitar.

Sitar lessons were very helpful for me. I am a Doctor and my line of work involves lots of stress and long working hours so I needed something to destress and someone suggested that learning a musical instrument would be both therapeutic and an interesting addition to my hobbies. I really like how the class was conducted over here. Maam was very professional and thorough in her teaching methods. She herself played like a maestro , I can only wish to play like her someday. I am really happy that I started Sitar classes even my family tells me that these music lessons have made me a calmer, happier and more focused person. Sitar is such an exquisite choice. Only true music loving souls get it. The sound of this instrument is so beautiful. I have always wanted to learn it but I never got time and one day I thought - life is passing by, If I really want to learn this unique instrument I should start learning it now. I checked on google and I went to see many places. Everywhere it was about admissions and fees and not the quality of lesson or the love and passion about Sitar and then I went to Lotus Sitar Class. I went to see the maam who teaches sitar. She takes on very few student , does not teaches the people who arent serious about music - She is not at all money minded, infact she herself has such great love for sitar that she could talk to you about it for hours. She has so much stage experiance and she has played with great musicians in her time. I was so moved by her passion for this instrument and her stories about those times. She teaches with such great perfection - one note can not be here or there. I met her students from Japan who are learning about Indian culture. I think this is one of the best Sitar class one can fin in Lucknow. If you are really serious about learning and not looking for a time pass then go to Lotus Sitar Class - I am 100% sure you will learn to play Sitar in the best possible way.

I think its one of the best Sitar Class around. Maam is very professional and thorough. I did advanced Sitar training with her and I am very happy with the results. I always had interest in Sitar but I never thought I would be able to play it fluently but thanks to Mam who taught me so well that now I can play all the ragas and bollywood songs and tunes on Sitar. I think It is one of the best Sitar Class in Lucknow city and even nearby cities. Maam is really qualified maestro. she is very attentive and points out even the tiniest of my mistakes and explains everything in great detail. she says you dont just play sitar it should be like flowing water smooth and in great rythem. I really like Sitar playing now before I was just someone who wanted to learn an instrument but now I really have developed a great passion for sitar. Its like these classes have aroused some hunger in me. If you are also a music lover, this will be a good and enriching experiance for you.

Mam is just amazing. She teaches with great passion which is also a very good thing. I learnt many levels of sitar playing from her. I also went to perform with her once on stage for a kala mahotsav where I got nervous as I was playing with her - the maestro and also I never played in front of the crowd but she calmed me down and said dont think of it like this - just think we are playing at home. She said music is for joy dont think and complicate. I just did what she said and I played with her. We got lots of claps and were invited again for another performance for later. I am living abroad these days but these memories I have with my sitar learning days - I will cherish them forever. Thankyou mam for taking me as a student.
