Very rude behavior by ticket counter employee name Neelam. Her words is very bad said yaha anpadh gawar log hi ticket karane aate hai. Aaj kal log online hi karate hai. She doesnt know about convince fee of online. Thats why the reason most people prefer windows. These employees have to learn manner to talks peoples.

Very nice awesome. Staff was very good. The station was neat and clean. There was good announcement systems. For old people there was sliding over bridge to cross the tracks. This is not a major station but many trains stop here because of unavailability of platforms in the upcoming stations. The two junction stations, Lucknow Junction and daligang Junction makes this route quite busy. There is curving tracks here hence you shouldnt take the risk of not using over bridge to cross the tracks. Be aware, safe and happy journey...

Third most important station after jn. and aishbagh in lucknow . Also quite busy but in process construction of new ticket counters and building . Level of cleanliness is quite good . Staff has maintained the dignity as per the name of station

Love the food specially non vegitarian, such a huge variety of food, clothes. Visiting these Places here are worthwhile like bada imambara, chota imambara, gomti riverfront park and specially ambedkar park.architechture of these places are phenomenal.

One of the beautiful station. Its looks grandiose. Biggest and oldest station of uttarpradesh situated at the heart of the capital of nawabs Lucknow. Its safe and secure even at night. Big and helpful staff. 24*7 its crowded.....

Suitable name Lucknow City . Building is very Good looking.

It is one of the oldest railway station of Lucknow. Close to Yahiyaganj, Aminabad and Chowk. Earlier narrow gauge trains were plying from this station up to Kathgodam and large timber were carried by the railway and people visited Nainital in the comfort and convenience of Naintal express. Now the track has been converted to broad gauge but no train like Nainital express is plying. Lakhimpur Kheri and Sitapur was also connected by narrow gauge trains. Sitapur is now connected but train to Lakhimpur is still awaited. There is only one paid toilet at this station and other basic facilities are present at this station.

Like other railway stations it need to improve cleanliness. A goods place to get tickets as windows have less crowd.

Its a well developed station keeping in mind travellers, full off amenities. Though the management needs to put effort in operations and maintenance.

This railway station is on under-construction for broad-gauge double line .It would provide better facilities in future for old Lucknow
