Nice clean place where you get clean water and attached mitro station name badshah nagar which helps you to connect with whole city . This is second most popular station of Lucknow after Charbagh this station mostly connect with gorakhpur,basti ,gonda junctions

Badshahnagar railway station is a very important railway station on the Barabanki–Lucknow Suburban Railway.It serves the Badshah Nagar locality of Indira Nagar. The station is located in a very densely populated area; thus, it handles a large amount of traffic. The number of platforms, however, can not be increased due to lack of space. The railway management has provided many services and facilities to cope up with traffic. Earlier a few trains like Gorakhpur Intercity Express used to originate / terminate here, but now it has been cancelled. Since this is small station with 2 platforms, it is now completely saturated with trains and railway is now compelled to develop Gomti Nagar as a terminal station.

Good station. It is a VIP station where all VIP trains stops. It is very neat and clean. Announcement systems is very good. There are two platforms. Waiting room is also neat and clean. There is also a IRCTC refresh point. Overall excellent small station.

A station of Lucknow the capital city of utter pradesh. Many trains passes through this station,this station has all necessary facilities like water atm good parking, metro station rickshaw and taxi services, it has four platforms neat and clean station, it also has all the facilities which a good station must have. Badshahnagar is old part of Lucknow and have many important places to visit and many famous hospitals are near this station like King George medical University, Sawami Viveka Nanda Hospital, and more many collages are situated here. This station is also important because pepole can catch their train from here and the do not need to go Charbagh railway station, it save their time and money.all important trains stop here which go to the cities of eastern up and bihar like Gorakhpur , Basti, Mau, Siwan, Chhapra, Etc.

Because it is not crowded as charbagh, and so peace place.

Be Careful, I had this incident in 2019, someone snatched my phone from the moving train, and I was forced to jump from the train without taking any luggage, I had a lot of important things in my phone.

From the capacity point of view it should be bigger than what it is. People going to Gorakhpur route or Bihar always prefer this station instead of LKO or LJN. Overall easy to locate and a good environment at this place makes it comfortable to reach via public transport.

Great Place . The most crowded place in the city. It should be more clean but its okay . Food is good and Water (RO) machine is also good . Everything is good . Ticket counter is very attractive . You can take take your tickets from AVTM . Foot over bridges are comfortable . Main Entrance is very beautiful ; in which you saw the photographs of Lucknows famous place.Taxi stand is also available. PCO .Guest House ; ATM ;Toilet ; Parking ; bus stop, Hospitals and swimming pools are easily available.

Small but busy station ..problem only one exit gate.. and almost 60% wrong coach details so facing problem to find coach and travelling too much when train arrive.

I liked overall cleanliness of station and less rush. However there is lack of slopeway for pulling luggage. An underground slopeway can be built like at charbagh.

Probably the most accessible railway station of Lucknow. It provides nearly fast ticketing and other services. The location of the station is appreciable. You can find two nice and medium sized parking lots to park your vehicle(s). Also, you can get a cab, an auto and many other local transports just few steps farther from the station. Additionally, now you can avail the facilities of the Lucknow Metro, which is few steps farther from it as well. Thanks!

Waiting room available does not solves the purpose as it needs to be segregated for different class like AC and non-AC.Platform was neat and clean. A slope (Entry to the station as well as to move from one platform to the other) needs to be maintained for passengers carrying heavy luggages, which was missing here.Still in developing phase.

Station for metre gauge trains.. connects with the local route trains to small towns... Ticket counter offers reservation for every type... Located in a prime location and has a metro station as well for better commute

Stoppage of good superfast trains

For up east side maximum number of train passing through this station. . But one issue reservation counter not available. . . Unreserved ticket counter available. . .

It was little different to find public transport after 10pm till 6am in morning. U have to take cab or reserved auto. On the platform you will find too much dogs. There is only one foot over bridge to other platform.

Would eventually serve ever expanding Lucknow Suburbs, so accordingly must be upgraded into more platforms to cater increasing rail traffic in near future. Second station of Lucknow to be connected with Lucknow Metro beside Lucknow Charbagh-Junction, of currently available Metro Route in Lucknow. Must be upgraded into Terminus.

Neat and clean Railway station.Outside this Railway station Lucknow Metro Red line is available.Metro runs from morning till midnight.If you want to access city of Lucknow you have three options Metro,Bus and Sharing Auto. People are friendly ,cool and helping.

This railway station is one of the improved railway station In Lucknow with decent amount of amenities and services. However it still need in improvement in certain areas.

This station has only two station.it is easy for passengers during boarding

This station lacks basic facilities. The station has only one toilet which remians unclean and unhygienic. The toilet overflows and spits of tobacco can be found in every corner. The station doesnt has a wheelchair accessible parking or entrance. Not to mention that it also lacks a wheelchair accessible toilet. Moreover, there isnt a waiting room nor enough number of seats on the platform for the passengers convenience. Considering the number of passengers which use this station daily these facilities should have been long ago updated.

As it is one of the railway station comes under the Lucknow city alike aishbagh and some others..it looks somewhat like the stations that gives us feel the old view.....for me its outside view gives me feel like that of the older stations that are in like rural areas...which I loves the most.....

Its a normal city station in lucknow. A small station like the juniour station of the city.Normal movement of the people. You will get transport like auto very conveniently.

Compared to Main stations of Lucknow, it is less crowded and nearer to Mahanagar, Aliganj etc. places and located at Faizabad road. Less time to reach here from my place of staying. With just two platforms and lots of parking space, I prefer going to this place rather than the main stations, provided the trains stop here.

This is suburb railway station of Lucknow City. One of dirtiest station. No major facilities. Even this place slightly disconnected from in between and just before reaching or entering to railway station. Water coolers are not in working conditions, very limited food options
