Lucknow is known for its tahzeeb and hospital staff for their patience and kindness but if you want to experience badtameez lucknow and gundagardi of staff you must go to the very famous SGPGI Lucknow.My mom was admitted in the Nephro ward no.1 few days back ,the atmosphere was unhygienic and infection prone with absolutely no care taken by the staff of the ward . Even After requesting them everyday to give my mom a diet chart I was denied it. On the day of the discharge the dietician of the ward called me and asked me if my Mom’s treatment is going on since the year 2018 .On which I informed her that my Mom was admitted for a few days but from 2019 till 2020 April there wasn’t any treatment on .The dietician told me to continue with 2018 diet chart in 2021 . I told her my Mom’s issues were different and there was no diet chart , she started calling me jhoothi , bewakoof etc. in front of many others present . I lost it completely and told her it is her responsibility to give me the diet chart every time there is an issue , we cannot depend on the diet chart given in 2018 for new issues in 2021 . She was non cooperative and tried to avoid doing the work which is meant to be done .Strict action must be taken against this DIETICIAN IN NEPHROLOGY DEPARTMENT WARD NO. 1 (working in the month of august 2021) . I have her photograph but don’t have an option to upload it .Not only this woman but all the staff there are anything but polite and friendly .. They make you feel so horrible that one feels more sick . In fact the people attending their patients keep crying and I don’t doubt that they must be falling sick due to the handling of the staff . Washrooms are so dirty that you cannot imagine going and using them .The staff even in the ICU keeps spitting in the dustbins … The patients clothes in ICU are not changed for 3 -3 Days if someone from thd family doesn’t insist … If you have to change the ward you have had it , the staff doesn’t even give you time for 10 mins to even change or pack your stuff .It’s like you are going from ICU to the other ward do my work is done now you get lost . Staff has no coy testy empathy and kindness .. The worst medical staff and staff handling I have ever seen ..This hospital will surely make you cry if you are a nobody . If you have come through somebody you will get a bed but no guarantee of the behaviour of the staff given to you ( iam not talking about the doctors here) …The only good thing is the doctors who are polite. Still I don’t recommend this hospital at all coz you are exposed to various diseases due to the lack of services within the hospital . You will see people cleaning all the time yet it is so dirty . The suggestion boxes have gutka and cigarette boxes thrown . No security no procedures no one to listen to . Once you are here you are stuck ,you are just dependent on the doctor’s mercy ,you will be lucky if you are discharged in few days otherwise if you deal with the illiterate ,loud ,unkind ,disrespectful and classless staff you have had the time of your life …Kindly check thd CCTV footage of the Neohro ward 1 counter of 17th aug 2021 between 2-4 pm where this dietician is throwing her attitude like she is paying us .Being SGPGI and being known , having people’s trust doesn’t mean that the hospital has the right to mistreat people .Absolutely disgraceful and disappointing..Do give me the mail address of the HOD of the Nephrology department so that I can write about same (eager to send her picture for her identification as the other staff refused to give her name. From the 3rd floor she ran to the 4th floor when I started clicking her pictures .I have posted her picture in the photos where you can add photos .. She is sitting with the mask on …

My elder brother got admitted here on 22/06/2021 due to brain hoemmorage complications from Varanasi by ambulance with covid negative report. The Ambulance stood stranded for around 45 minutes because there was no one to attend, doctors were supposedly changing their shift so it was taking them 1 hours to do some process. They said they will not accept covid report of mine, they will again do covid test to clarify,there was no neuro medication given to him till the night even when I had clearly told the docs about his CT scan score and other reports. I had begged them but they didnt care. They were following their so called medication protocol irrespective of the patients current level of severity. next morning, They called me saying that your brother covid reoprt is positive so they will not shift him in neuro ,went into coma due to their negligence my brother condition become even more worse. after 2 days they said now his covid report is negative so we will shift him neuro department which took 5 days in the hospital. And within 4 days my brother dead they could have shifted Its almost like a murder and I have no hesitation whatsoever to say it right into anyones face be it hospital administration or police administration. Its my familys modesty that they didnt lodge a police complaint against these inhumane cruel apathetic medical goons. You guys should be punished. i am writing this long so as to save some more lives from these privileged salaried demons who have medical degrees. this is coming from a hurt from a brother, you guys wont get your place in hell. I have huge respect for medical front liners in these difficult times but you guys just made me start believing otherwise.

SGPGI Pulmonary doctors are low on knowledge and experience and definitely lack in communication skills with patients and their relatives. Managerial and soft skills are missing which often leads to arrogant behaviour on their part. As already pointed out in several other comments, the staff is crass. No soft skills, not even basic decency of talking to people. Dr Mansi Gupta, who is a consultant and a Practising doctor here, doesnt even know what professional behavior means and how to demarcate between her professional and personal issues. Use of crass language is very common here so please be prepared to face it at one point or another if you visit. I strongly suggest with Medical knowledge, they need soft skill training too.Pros:- low consultantion fees- low to average charges for procedures and tests- some doctors have good knowledge and experienceCons:- very rude staff and doctors- No clear processes. Leads to hassle of patients and their relatives. Queries are not responded to.- their is some incentive for doctors based on the number of cases referred for tests and procedures. Leads to unnecessarily testings and a race among doctors for logging in the test referred through their own account on portal.

PGI Pulmonary doctors with good knowledge and experience lack in communication with admitted Patients and their relatives. They have attitude problem and do not respond to the queries. Dr Ajmal Khan is a Consultant, who does not interact directly with patients and speak very rudely. I suggest, with Medical knowledge, they need Soft Skill Training.

This place is only for refferal patient. Reffered patient also should required to normal in walking/talking(should not be severe sick). Next step to Get File for OPD but that is most difficult task to do. You have to in line befor 6pm in evening a day before OPD open. Being in line One day before also not confirm that you get File. Luckily if you get file then next to get ready for another line outside doctors cabin. Well, overall experice like railway tatkal waiting line at stations. So all the best.

SGPGIMS is the short name of this this institute.Its located on the Raibareli Road. If you want to there took a taxi or bus from Kamta to Utrethiya and after reaching there took another taxi from Utrethiya to PGI. Its nearly about 20Km from Kamta. Its the easiest way to reach there. A very big hospital with all type of doctors and testing labs. As of my experience the working staff in the testing labs was not good. They are not want to do the work. If you go there and tell him about your test they tell you that go to this room and this room and if you go again then they tell you come tomorrow in the morning. Overall they are walking you in the building here and there. That is very disappointing and very irritating for every patients and his relatives too.

Fine government hospital with well trustworthy doctors .. staffs might be rude at times but I guess its because of the crowds pressure . Everyone was told to wear a mask and then enter thats a good thing but social distancing was not followed in hospital . Moreover the washroom for patients are extremely dirty and stinky . Any ways as for the doctors there are good so we compromise but these things should be considered and eliminated .

Recently I visit for treatment to my parents, before I go Im query about hospital process. I noticed that people think over difficulties for there treatment, but no worries about making files and all . The hospital environment and structure was good you got here crowd with chasing people after people. The behaviour of hospital staff was very good also the consultant docter was gppd, he gaves proper time to understand your problem and then consult your problem. Before giving any medicine he wants reports.You got here canteens and rest area, many people and foreigners come here for his treatment. Nice work hard work.

Great hospital with friendly staff. The nurses and doctors are sincere and helpful. Almost all kinds of treatment available here. Integrated pathology, scanning and trauma centres. Intensive care department is really nice and well coordinated. Doctors take time with the patients, never do they rush with the patients and are really helpful and friendly.One thing I would say is that the hospital faces more patients that the doctors can handle. Theres this huge rush and it is really hard and tiring to get an appointment. Long queues everywhere and the time for a single visit is obnoxious. You could wait a for a day and still return without meeting the doctor.Otherwise a very nice hospital. They even have transplant centers with good success rates. Huge hospital !

They do misguiding. junior doctors do not have proper treatment of gastroenterology. they only transfer case one to another department. they do not want to take risk. their was treatment of my patient in gastro medicine. they recommended for gastro surgery, but after they said go for treatment with again gastromedicine and go to home. you have to come next month. this was very disappointing. my father condition was very worst after one month and he was died. they have no sense, they should give better treatment not misguiding due to their own issues. A junior lady doctor who was in emergency ward, was very rude showing much attitude and having no sense like a doctor. she was healthy and fair. she is very irresponsible. Doctors of gastroenterology is the worst doctors in the india.doctors will not care even patients condition is very critical. There are very careless behaviour of all the nurse and staff. They dont treat patient like human. Doctors and staff are only playing with patients life. They only doing research on the patient due to which i have lost my father on 9th january 2020. He was suffering from liver cirrhosis, when his situation was very critical. He was shouting with pain whole day. My mother and brother was call doctors and nurse for help. Doctor was even not touch my father and said he will dead soon. What rubbish?? We are come for treatment with hope, not for listen this things. They was totally ignore, at last at night 9.20 pm my father was died. I have lost my father due to ignorance of doctors and staff. Shameless.God will never forgive them.

There is a Doctor named as #Yashveersingh#in SGPGI,Lucknow in Neuro Dept under Senior Dr.Sanjay Behari Lal who is the most notorious doctor in that Dept.He doesnt know how to talk,always yells and shouts in the corridors where patients are kept.Aways shows unethical,annoyingand disrespectful behaviour in front of staff,patients and outsiders even he doesnt have the manner how to talk to females.If you want to avoid him then also he has to poke his nose in between.I dont think he should be a Doctor because the basic ethics which a Doctor should have,he is devoid of.Please take necessary action against him because really the situation is very difficult,sad and grim.

I wanted to book an appointment for my dad to a neurologist but concern person says that they can not book appointment online or with a telephonic conversation and that too I have to come with referral letter from any doctor. And when i mentioned my brother is HOD of gastrology department then they immediately says that you can come at time but why do we need a referral proposal for treatment. What if i have to come for first consultation and I want to get treated their, and if you have this type of service then this is ridiculous because if you are a doctor then you have treat your patient. It does not meant u should have this type of process. And I am also ophthalmologist and I treat my patients as they need not as my hospital protocol. Revert me back as soon as possible.
