Sandohan Devi Temple is one of the ancient temples of Lucknow. It is said that about 400-500 years ago, a devotee had a dream that Maa Viraji is in Pindi form in the pool of the existing temple complex.After the dream, the devotees took out the pindi form of the mother from the pool and installed it. After this, other statues are gradually restored here, recently the kund has been renovated. Once every six months, on the day of Ekadashi after Navratri, Mata gives darshan of the steps in the entire dressing.Devotees also take part in religious events here with all the wishes. The temple holds Sundarkand recitations in the evening on Tuesday, Saturday, and other events including Devi Bhajan on Friday. Apart from Mata in the temple, the origin of Kund, Vaishno Mata, Kali Mata, Radhakrishna, Ganesh, Hanuman ji, Bhairav, Saraswati Mata, Santoshi Mata, Shiva Parvati, Lakshmi Narayana, Rama Darbar, Jagannath Lord, Navagraha, Navagraha, Brihaspati Dev, Bhimakay Mahadev Lord Shani is also enthroned.
