Transforming indian railway by maintaining the desired standard. This organization plays a vital role for development of indian railway. RDSO located at very pleasant place. Entire RDSO premises are environment friendly. There are lots of trees.

I am used many time but not is good

The only government institution responsible for research and standardization of Railway Operations in India. It also exercises strict quality control and Testing & Inspection of all products used by the Indian Railways.

There is so much Greenery and silence out here that everytime I go out for a walk, I feel like I am in Texas and anytime leatherface can chase me with his chainsaw. An awesome feeling

RDSO, a wing of Indian Railways, abbreviated from Research Designs and Standards Organization is primarily does the new products development for the home railway and sometime for abroad. They also accord approval to various suppliers for supplying many products to Workshops of Indian Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.

Never thought it would be such a big place. Very well organised offices. Staff quarters etc. Off course dont expect it to be like any private office.

It is a Research Building of Research Designs and Standards Organisation (Railway Research Body). This building has Electrical, IT, Telecom, Carriage, Design Directorate.Very nice environment in terms of peacefulness and greenery.Officers and Staffs are very Co-operative.Canteen is situated in this building, this may help the visitors when they want to refresh them.
