The institute is on a 550 acres (2.2 km2) residential campus at Raebareli Road, 15 km from the main city. The institute offers its own degrees, which are recognised by the Medical Council of India. It delivers tertiary medical care, super-specialty teaching, training and research. It offers DM, MCh, MD, Ph.D., postdoctoral fellowships, postdoctoral certificate courses, senior residency along with degree courses in nursing and paramedical like B.Sc. Nursing (4-year) course. College of nursing, takes about 40 students every year through the all India and level examination.

They are fraud hospital. They are not returning the biopsy report of cancer patient...how shameless these hospital is...graveyards for patients...patient is dying in mumbai and requesting these inhumane PGI staffs to share the biopsy but these haramkhor, lazy staffs are not even talking ...how shame such hospitals are to human mankind....thoooo to the management....thoooo to the staff

One of the bad experience that I suffer today in this so called hospital named PGI Lucknow.... Every staff in this hospital think that he/she is the dean of the hospital....no manner to talk with patients at all.Today I travel from Assam to Lucknow for check up in this hospital and seriously I returned from their with in 3hour.....I talked with atlist two to three patients from kidney related problems and all of them are not satisfied with the treatment at all...every patients will have to run from one department to another.And the que for registration for patients is very long and huge no. of patients have to wait for it
