Originally established as a major trauma center catering to Lucknow and nearby cities. Currently being operated as a covid hospital. This unit has a large capacity and potential and will stand out as an important pillar in the medical tourism sector of Lucknow

Apex Trouma Center is located in Vranda Van Yojna sec 18 Raibareli road Lucknow .Apex trauma center is part of SGPGI,First it was under KGMU and at present time its part of SGPGI.It is located in a quit and beautiful place, Is about 2.5 km away from shahid path road .Accident patients are taken here.Doctors and staff are very qualified here but their bed availability is less.

Pathetic staff. . Busy in there mobile phones . Doest even care to respond to your query. . Anyway u can check emergency receiving station in the ground floor .. they do help

Nearly a decade after its inception, the apex trauma centre at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences made a humble beginning on Tuesday. Being developed on the lines of AIIMS New Delhi apex trauma centre, the 60-bedded centre was inaugurated by minister of medical education Ashutosh Tandon.

Worked here as an Senior Resident in department of emergency medicine. This hospital is a brand . No other hospital in north india can match its supremacy . Staff cooperative and doctors very intelligent and with good clinical experience. Very clean hospital. All the working staff are very warm. The director Prof Rakesh kapoor is a through genius and gentleman. My hod of emergency medicine Dr sp ambesh was aGemOf person.All the emo working in the ems department are very experienced and cooperative. It was an honour to be a part of SGPGI.

Good hospital very excellent doctor and infrastructure

Currently non functional The Apex Trauma Centre was conceived as part of SGPGI but due to various reasons was transferred to KGMU as the latter offered to run the place without the additional staff requirements projected by SGPGI. However, the centre is in the process of being transferred to SGPGI and is not yet functional . Staff Recruitment is in the process.

Not yet started...But good building with enough space

It is going to be started here and here will be good facilities in the coming time and good facilities are provided in the beginning and anyway. This is my personal experience.

This was sub unit of SGPGI but now administrative charge given to KGMC Lucknow.

Now this place has been named Rajdhani Kovid Hospital and only people suffering from Wuhan disease are treated here. Normal patients are not being seen here, yes it is so important that if someone wants to appear in SGPGI, then Wuhan disease is examined here. This hospital has now become a monopoly of SGPGI. The sample is collected. The report is sent over the telephone.
