Janeshwar Mishra Park is an urban park operating in Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, India. It was made in memory of late politician Janeshwar Mishra from Samajwadi Party. The park was inaugurated for general public of the city on 5 August 2014. It is Asias 1st largest garden. The chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav (session 2012-2017) laid the foundation stone of the park on 6 August 2012.[2] The park was a dream project of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav who had asked his son and UP CM Akhilesh Yadav to dedicate a park in the name of Janeshwar Mishra. It was developed with a cost of 168 crores($276,026.668).[3] The park was modeled with Hyde Park in London as an inspiration.Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has developed eco-friendly Janeshwar Mishra Park (JMP) in the heart of the city. It has been conceptualised and designed as a multi-functional environmental and recreational green which will not just provide sustainable habitat for various species of birds but also double up as a major entertainment and recreation centre for all sections of the society. It will enhance and improve the ecological balance and help restore sensitive habitat for numerous species of birds, small animals, fishes, amphibians and even insects. The design direction for the park is centered on the strategy for sustainable development that aims to promote harmony among human beings and between humanity and nature. The pursuit of sustainable development requires a social system that provides for solutions for the tensions arising from disharmonious development. The site has a gentle and general slope towards south to north and greater gradient towards eastern and western sides where it will house water bodies. As per Lucknow Master Plan, the site falls in green belt and was visualized as a city forest. However, due to manifold reasons the site is now proposed to be developed a park to meet the social and recreational needs of the neighbouring population. However, whilst permitting the change from city forest to landscaped park.
One of my favorite place in Lucknow. A peaceful place that relaxes the soul. There are many things to love .. But one thing that I like the most is the varieties of plants ... and the other thing that I like is caring for these plants
A great feeling , Giant Tricolour. A proud gift to lucknow by Akhilesh yadav ji. National flag in Janeshwar Mishra Park has one of the highest monumental flag-post with the tricolour. The 207-feet pole is the exact replica of the flag-pole at Connaught place in Delhi. After a walk of nearly 1500 metres from main gate, when you reach here, it gives a patriotic feeling .
I love❤ India

The flag stands tall in the middle of janeshwar mishra park . It is the tallest and one of the most iconic landmark in Lucknow. Till now it has been very well maintained by the government authorities . The park is also very well maintained . It has become a very famous spot not only for the local people but also for tourists that visit Lucknow.
Janeshwar Mishra Park has one of the highest monumental flag post, 207 ft high, with the tricolour.
The flag is very big in hight and looks very nice in afternoon.

The flag has been erected in biggest Janeshwar Mishra Park which is highest in Lucknow. The park is maintained by Lucknow Development Authority. Till now this is very well maintained. An ideal place for outdoor activities and picnics but everybody needs to be alert for Snakes appearance there.

Saare Jahaan se achcha Hindustan hamara.
The National Flag which is located in the largest park of Asia, Janeshwar Mishra Park. The National Flag Memorial is a great place to walk. At night, this place looks more spectacular. It is a proud feeling to see the national flag inside the Janeshwar Mishra Park I consider one of the favorite place as the National Flag Monument is made in circular form, in which it keeps waving its tricolor gracefully. The experience of seeing the magnificent tricolor is really great, according to me, you should come here only in the morning or evening because it is very sunny in the afternoon, if you want to come in the afternoon, then you can bring your umbrella in this memorial. -Small very beautiful plants are installed. Seats are arranged in a circular arrangement to sit, many lights are also installed. You can also sit on the grass. The experience of sitting and watching the tricolor with me is very different, according to me, every tourist who visits the Janeshwar Mishra Park must definitely visit The National Flag. If you do not visit, you might miss a lot. You can experience a lot of peace in the afternoon, but some tourists come here and do some mischief in the trees of the surrounding neighborhood of the tricolor. Part is not.
