Place is too good. Well cleaned. Free entry.Best part of the park is peace and youll find sun clock which is UPs first clock (Source- locals).In pond youll find fish.Peaceful place for student you can visit and read/learn without any disturbance.

Officials said the script would be readable once the stone is cleaned.The two stones with Hindi and Persian inscriptions dating back to 1854.Four wells in four corners of the kund were also ‘unearthed’ during the cleaning operation, said Rajeev Kumar, OSD, Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).

Its a nice park which is specially designed astronomically. You can see a Sun dial and a kund here.And one more thing there is a specific pillers from where we supposed to see all the planets of our solar system.you can come here in the morning or evening Till 07:00PM.Timing are slightly different in winters.

Park is spacious but due to lack of maintenance by government bodies its condition is not good enough. At least drinking water and proper lighting should be maintained.

Its just near to the Indira Gandhi Planetarium, Daliganj and looks nice in the evening. The pond is nicely maintained but still needs some renovation.

One can reach this place from Charbagh Railway station by Taking a auto rickshaw to Dollyganj bridge and from there you have to walk back 100 m and then turn right from the ChaurahaSecond way is to take auto rickshaw for Qaiserbagh bus stand then take another one to Either Dollyganj or Nabiullah Road via Indira Gandhi Planetarium and Suraj Kund Park.

Best place for meditation and it has great temple and in this park their are lots of fishes in their pond

Park is beautifully lanscaped on d concept of astronomy. I entered the park just to have a glimpse of it. But as I moved forward many new things unfurled before me. The pond on one side caught my attention. It is well maintained . However , adding some aqatic plants like water lily n lotus would enhance its charm. Due to paucity of time I could not explore d entire park. I strongly recommend this place for people seeking some peaceful time amidst d city husle n busle. Do add dis to ur tour buket if u r planning to see Residency n Plenetoriun which are in its vicinity.
