He was an Indian barrister and statesman, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and a founding father of the Republic of India who played a leading role in the countrys struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation.In India and elsewhere, he was often called Sardar, meaning chief in Hindi. He acted as Home Minister during the political integration of India and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.

Nice place, Sardar Patel monument is very attractive .Avergare area of park. Land is covers with green beautiful grass, sitting avialble, in middle of park waterfall is available,but in high rainy seasonsome places full of water.Very noise of vehicles.Overall good.

Its a good place at center in lucknow where we can stay some time and wait or discuss to friends, its near GPO & Ganj chauraha also.

Only couple is coming here. Sad for us.
