A good place for family picnic. It also has a small park for little kids to play and enjoy.

This place is very awesome for picnic purpose.No any bad behaviour here .all people are decent and honorable.you can go there with family . although many people are going there with family. There are many type of swing for children that they enjoyed very much.there is canteen also. There is herbal garden.and also crocodile , Gongs and tortoises. You can see and feel adventurous.

Perfect spot for picnic with family and young childrens. Parking facility is available here. Morning and evening time you dont need to give money for parking but in the time slot of 9 am to 6pm you need to pay. Remember there is no facility of canteen. So take your food or snacks from outside.

It is an excellent place for picnic. Place is famous for gharial breeding and rehabilitation. Also, has crocodile breeding and turtle conservation centre. A nice place for birding. But, highly crowded during holidays. It has a forest guest house, play ground, swings and slides for children.

A nice place to visit with family and kids. One can see all phases of alligator; from lizard size to big 8-10 meters long. Also have crocodiles n tortoise.Parks with swings for kids. Plenty of space to sit n play. No entry ticket, only the parking ticket is there. Lot of greenery as well. Overall a good experience.

One of the oldest attractions in Lucknow. It was going downhill but there has been new developments and renovation and its much better now. The new museum is full of taxidermy and life sized models. Very good to bring young kids to educate them.

Right now many of the things are closed like musium, maximum cages, botanical garden. Tortals not seen. Required correction as like last few years ago

Good spot for jungle relaxation but be wary of low lifes lurking everywhere around waiting to commit any crime if you are not carefull , girls dont visit alone and must accompany least 3-4 peoples.

It is green, it is clean, it is Kukrail. The natural ambience is superb for a morning jog. Although due to pandemic the alligator reserves are closed, so you wont be able to enjoy seeing alligators and crocodiles, which this place used provide back in the days. That being said, it is a good place if you want to take a walk or play sports like badminton. But be advised, since it remains closed, this place is enjoyable only because of its green ambience.

Place is quite lovely.....full of peace and loaded with nature.....no engine sounds..no horns nothing just silence everywhere 😍.....you can have your morning walk here .....can also have your family time here...yeah uh can bring your love ones tooo😏😂 never mind😂

It is not in the good shape that it used to be, but if you like crocodiles and ghavails then do visit the place. It has a lot of open space to play, some swings as well. It has a small museum, hosting animal trophies and taxidermy mounts of animals, which open only on Sundays.

Well known for crocodile and turtle breeding center, the place which had had black bucks and many birds, is now gasping. The place - Kukrail Picnic Spot - owned and managed by Forest Department, has shrunk considerably and appears desolate. The forest land has been considerably encroached and the creeping localities around are engulfing the verdure and the woodland. The famous Kukrail nullah which bisects the place has also lost its beauty as it has considerably been receded.The whole woodland, now rechristened as Kukrail Picnic Spot, has one main forest rest house and two forest huts. These buildings are not often opened to public. The turtle breeding center has been closed and the Crocodile Breeding Center is on the brink of closure. Managed by Wildlife wing of Forest Department, the Crocodile Breeding Center offers limited access to public for crocodiles viewing and watching in various stages of their growth.There is a paid parking lot on both sides of Kukrail nullah where a visitor can park their vehicle. The entry is free but for the parking charges which is Rs 25.00 per car. Public amenities and drinking water facilities are almost not present. Those which are present are either closed or very shabby and dirty. The small childrens play area is counting its days. The maintenance of the spot is seriously lacking.The place once had been a tourist attraction and a good place for locals to hang out. Unfortunately, the neglect has cost this spot dearly. With proper upkeep and care once again the spot can be a nice place.
