Hathi Park is a perfect hangout spot in Lucknow to spend a quality evening with friends and family in the summer season. However, in winter season people can often be seen picnicking here. Symbolising the name of the park are the large elephant (Hathi) statues inside the park. Hathi Park is also a popular kid-friendly tourist place in Lucknow.

I miss those days when this park was called in the list of famous parks of Lucknow.

There you can go for picnics or just canwalk around while enjoying soft instrumentalmusic playing all along.This place is beautifully made with large variety of plants.Amazing place for sitting or walking and relaxing. Fee is very minimal. Drinking water and washrooms are available inside.

Nothing is there to be found. The park in my colony is better. Even the Haathi(elephant) is not well maintained and cumbersome to climb.

Our experience of Haathi park is . Were house in near than Haathi park in childhood we goes in Haathi park and we dont take the ticket of this park . 👍

All the park has is a statue of An Elephant and 2 statues of Gautam Budh. Good place for evening walk. I dont have much to say about it. Its just simple. But some of the benches are broken and have needle-sharp fragments of iron sticking out of them.

This park is good to click photos.We use to enter into the elephant which is in this park.It has the big statue of Lord Buddha.It is beside river Gomti, so it always has cool breeze.

It is a magnificent place for kids for teenagers and you can say almost for everyone. It was a major attraction at one time but now a days its not. Uphhhh.... The children can get into the elephant statue and play a lot. I liked it very much in my childhood it was a place I visited everything when I visited Lucknow

Normally there are different sections for different types of animals.Amongst the common animals, where are deer, monkeys, langurs, zebras, zirafs, wild buffaloes etc. They run graze or move in enclaves or jump on trees. All these are liked by the children.Wild animals consist of Royal Bengal Tiger, white tiger, lion, panther, hyena, wild boar, black tiger, jaguar etc. All these are in their special cells. Normally they are at a distance from the viewers.Reptiles section has numerous types of snakes. Snakes are both poisonous and non-poisonous. Pythons are of very big size. Most of the snakes are in “glass cage”. They are fully visible but cannot do any harm to any one as they are in the glass cage.In a pond there are a few crocodiles and gharials. They are ferocious looking and ferocious in nature. Children have no liking for these animals.The most attractive section for the children is the bird area. Hundreds of birds of different types and sizes live in this “huge area”. A long wire not covers all these birds.

Big elephant statue in the park. Kids can go inside the elephant. This park was very beautiful and major attraction in earlier days. Slowly lost the charm due increasing traffic jams around. Also a big portion of park is now converted to road. Still large number of people daily visits.

This park is earlier known as Haathi Park. As it has the big statues of three animals Elephant, Camel and Rhino. Enjoyable thing is that you can enter into the elephant and come out from the upper side. A lot of rides are also there.
