Very clean and good park. Awesome view point. One has to be cautious and precautionary with young kids as the area close to the river is kinda dangerous.

Shaheed Smarak or Martyrs Memorial is a white marbled pillar-like structure standing amidst lush green lawns at Mukarimnagar, Qaiserbagh in Lucknow.Established in memory of the soldiers who lost their lives during the 1857 War of Indian Independence, this significant pillar was built in the 1970s. There are also boating facilities in the nearby Gomti river. The memorial also has stone stairs for seating within the premises.

Park not maintained.. and authorities should work on connectivity with river.. their is a point from where we can access the river.. one boat is available.. they charge approx 100 rs. for a round.

There are two portions of the park. One outside the main entrance and another inside. The outside one is the better one. You can enjoy fountains, army mens statues, as well as spot lovely places to click portraits.The other one though, is not that great.

Shaheed smarak is a type of statue building in the middle of the chawak which is name after the statue.The chawak in gomti Nagar after green city.The four directional way is from this chawak.The beauty of the chawak is just beacuse of the architect of the chawak and statue.Well clean road in Lucknow.This area is also called Shaheed smarak area or road which is located in gomti Nagar Lucknow.These is included in the beauty of Lucknow.

Suggested, if you love to watch river, boats. The sunset looks nice from this place. There is a temple in the middle of the river, ask for boat to visit there. The boat charges are negotiable.
