It has a lot about our history and lot to read and learn for the people interested... My personal favourite is the mummy section ancient coin and wild animal taxidermy.

Nice place to explore Art history wildlife together...the Egyptian part is the best thing about the museum. A major section of the museum were closed when we visited.

Best place mainly the Egyptian mummy

Couldnt get a chance to explore the entire museum but the place is well maintained with proper information relating to the artefacts. It is located inside the zoo and you have to pay a small entry fee as tickets for the museum are sold separately.

Not much to see in the museum, only attractions of historical significance are the mummy and and jain idols.These has been no attempt to make this museum attractive for visitors apart from the mummy enclosure.Taxidermied animals are on the top floor, there are hardly any directions posted in the museum. You have to figure out where you are supposed to go.

Its was clean .neat. N canteen food was tasty. Their maintenance people were very helpful..

Egyptian Mummy is the main attraction ...It was wrapped in cloth and kept within its wooden painted sarcophagus about 300yrs... You will find various ancient models projecting our ancient lives , rare artifacts, stone age artifacts,etc... Its under the area of zoo so you have to take zoo ticket that will cost around Rs-80/- before going to museum ..for museum u need to pay extra Rs 5/-..

Very amusing place . It feels proud to see our historical artifacts. Gallary dedicated to Buddhas life and Egyptian gallary are worth to watch.

Beautiful place. Must visit. A variety of animals to see and educate kids and oneself. Take good 2 hours to visit this place entirely. It is well managed and clean. They have a butterfly garden as well. White tiger here is must watch. Definately for family ans also for people who are going with friends or solo.

State museum is situated inside the zoo of Lucknow....many historical items like coins, armoury, gates, Ramayana in urdu and many more things. Those who have interest in history should go there , theyll get a lot of knowledge.

Museum is good but the zoological park is not good.Clean and pollution free area .Zoo is not interesting and need upgradation.Youll not get to enjoy if you take train tour.Train tour= ₹25 for adult. ₹5 for children.A guard is available on train.An emergency button is also available in each coach.

Its just freaking awsm, I must say, agar zoo ja k Museum Ni Visit Kia to, ap zoo gye hi ni, so must visit, Museum, and theres also folk museum just behind d main museum building, they reallly got awsm n cool n exciting stuffs which grab Ur attention , curiousity n al, n one thing they updated d mummy version, now theres a whole lot more stuff therr, related to ancient Egypt, like, Anubis n sphinx ( d gaint pyramid) so without further sayin, just visit , explore urself, n its my personal view, cos I enjoyed a lot,Have a look @some of d pics

Small museum, not much to see. There are some interesting artifacts and a cool Egyptian History section which is newly built apart from that its pretty bland.

It is located inside the zoo itself but has a great historical significance of the nawabs and the other ruling dynasty of India. Ranging from Marathas to Guptas. It is a must watch from coin collection to weapons and armour that was used, various old civilization forms and real animal skins are shown for display.

This Muesuem is inside the Nawab wazid Ali Shah Zoo so one get to visit 2 places by going to one location. The Entry fee of INR 5 is very Modest, but you have to pay INR 60 for entering into Zoo. The USP of this place is the Eqyptian Mummy which is only at 6 Muesuems in India. The museum has the Rajhans Airplane which was once used as national carrier and Marble_Metal statues of Queen Victoria. It doesnt have much in display but yes still can be considered in one of the must visit places of Lucknow.
