Very big space for morning walk but not very well maintained. It seems some work is going on. As of today, very good for morning walks.

Poorly maintained. Dogs inside the sthal are found freely roaming and spoiling the place. Security staff deployed more than required are least careful and do not interfere in any matter. Boys from nearby places play cricket without bothering morning walkers safety.

It is good place to enjoy and also for purchasing items from it. There are lots of things which is memorable and there are different types of fun tools for creating activities of enjoy and zeal. Some famous actors and singers were also visited here.

This place is Huge. We liked roaming in this premises. The door are Huge and the boundaries are stylish. The place is clean and eco-friendly and is good to hangout with friends, whole day.

This is one of the most anticipated events of the year. There is always a lot of hustle and bustle going around in this place, crowded with shops outlined with lights. There are certain jhulas including FERRIS WHEELS, COLUMBUS and a new addition THE RANGER.One thing is to keep in mind when you visit this place, the things available are quite costly compared to the normal market price, but if you have the talent to bargain. Then you can easily have a really good purchase.The other thing is that there is lot of dust in atmosphere, so be careful about that.Well!To conclude, you can visit this place with your family, your friends or anyone.It is indeed a glorified picnic!!

Reminds about a local village Haat, on a bigger scale albeit, Lucknow Mahotsav - an annual extravaganza - is an occasion for denizens to enjoy and shop handicrafts. With a mild start, Mahotsav has completed more than three decades. Initially aimed to provide a platform for showcasing and promoting the Awadhi culture, its original aroma is gradually fading and It is becoming a bureaucratic playground. Though the venue of Mahotsav is vast and open but not-so-good arrangements leave nips. The whole area is dusty and dirty. Poorly managed food stalls, unreasonably high price of the food stuffs, insufficient sanitation are but few areas need more attention. The heavy foot-fall, especially during the holidays, poses heavy pressure on the roads and the surrounding localities which are not accordingly developed. This causes unnecessary and frequent traffic jams. Taking advantage of the uncertainty, touts start milking and harassing the visitors. The men at unauthorized parking lots charge hefty amount.

A beautiful carnival held in Lucknow. Sellers from different state come here and showcase their products.An interesting place enjoy your day. Starting from 25th November till 5th December every year.

Lot many shops with variety of items are available. Parking staff not trained at all, only interested in collecting money. Ice cream is available of vadilal brand only that too with double the prices . Ice cream vendor says he has to deposit 10500/- fair so he has to make up that money. Kids play zone has no security concern . Ground has not been levelled so shoes are must to prevent sudden tripping and damaging foot . Overall average show

The Mahotsav Sthal is good but the field area is not properly grounded... Rest is good for Lucknow mahotsav

Everything u can purchase here from niddle to car or house, you can see here lots of diversity in products, good place for visitng, I am sure you will really enjoy here, you can also find here swing like Giant wheel, Colombus, Ranger, Break dance, and other smaller swings, parking is free of cost, ticket cost only rupess ₹20 while swing chatge is ₹80 to ₹150, various food items available here.

Lucknow Mahotsava was so great this time and special as it was dedicated to the memory of former P.M. Atal Behari Vajpayee ji.What people loved most was Atal Village, a model of village built with care to introduce youngsters who had never been to a Village.It had various stalls too selling village products plus it was the venue for Bal Mahotsava ,whose various programs entertained visitors in the afternoon.The main Mahotsava Hall had Youth Mahotsava programs in the day and cultural programs in the evening. Marijuana had varied shops selling crockery, clothes and carved wood and stone stuff, both handicrafts and machine made. Food Court saw people savouring wide variety of foods like Rajasthani cuisine,Punjabi Cuisine and of course Nawabi Lucknow cuisine.Rajasthani dance troupe entertained as well as a family showing puppet show. A gallery was solely dedicated to the memory of Atal ji in pictures and video. R.B.I. stall saw many visitors for exchanging currency.Various exciting Joyrides were the next popular destination for visitors.Stalls and attractions were so many that you needed at least two full days. Kashmiri stalls also drew lots of crowds for warm stoles, shawls etc. and also for genuine dry fruits from the valley. Management and security was really good and cleanliness was great too, wheelchairs were available too. People had a wonderful time with family here and eventually it was extended by The Governor till this Sunday. On Sunday it was the day of cheap deals at throwaway prices and crowd surge was excellent and stall owners sold a lot and were happy too to bid adieu to the Lucknow Mahotsava until next year.

Name tells every story about this place Lucknow is famous for hospitality and if another name added on this Mohotsav so it add itself a very awesome collection here you can find best collection of every part of India.

Great to see the atmosphere of Lucknow mahotsav .It is really ossm place to watch, shopping,play, adventure, foods listed variety, and good facilities by the government .

Good place for evening fun, You can buy traditional stuff & household products with mouth watering food at different stalls.

A big fate with too many stalls from outside the city/state.This time Lucknow Mahotsav Management is not so good as earlier times.No drinking water available.Not fully covered area with carpet which causes too much dust.Prices for fooding are too much high.Too much far from city centre.Too much rush specially at celebrities stage/tent.

A good place to get variety of food ,clothes, accessories,fancy things,furniture etc. You just might not like to dirt in air but you can enjoy all kind of rides. Its a fabulous 10 day festival in the city.

Lucknow Mahotsav is organised since long only time to time places were shifted. Actually it is organised by Uttar Pradesh Govt and its main motto is to demonstrate the culture and handicrafts of UP. But one more motto is to advertise the achievements and plans of ruling government of UP. Actually it is very broad form of any fare/exhibition organised at district levels. Place where, it is organised, basically it is open park developed by previous governments. But in respect of space and connectivity with rest of the city, Lucknow Mahotsav is oftenly organised here. Lucknow Mahotsav is organized in winter every year. One can get most of the handicrafts items over here like decorative and utensils made of bonechina, wooden crafts as well as furniture, huge variety of rugs, copper articles, clothes, khadi clothes, bangles etc. One can kill his/her hunger at very huge food court with varieties of regional food options like hathras ka halwa n puri, rajasthani foods like dal churma, punjabi food like chole bhature, South Indian like dosa idli, some popular Chinese items like noodles etc. But if you have sensitive stomach and needs good hygiene then this food is not meant for you. Just take and only taste it because most of the food items are kept open. Only people with strong immune sytem may finish all food otherwise it is suggested to only taste food. This year tandoori chai was also a hit attraction. Here one can get variety of shops like kids toys, small machines needed at home in day to day maintenance, artificial flowers, bedsheets, cushion covers, blankets etc. Popular builders also showcase their on going projects. Various banks also have stall in which one can get all information. There is also a stall of Lucknow metro in which one can see operations and development details. Several government office/PSU also showcase their work. Lucknow Mahotsav is based on a theme in every year. Popular programs of folk music, kavi sammelan, Bollywood music are organized every year. But avoid the live shows of popular singers because such shows are very very crowdy.

Lucknow Mahautsav was good but washrooms are very dirty at smirti upvan and there is no latch at the doors of washrooms, and security near the stage is very poor... Very bad arrangements of the Stage.. stage area is very small and conjugated.Ride are very good..all rides are at very reasonable price.. there are 3 giant wheel.. lights decoration and food stalls are good

Lucknow Mahotsav as usual is a great hit. Only event hich is visited by each and every Lucknowite each year.Parking and market stall layouts are well planned and systematic. Although price for the parking keeps varying according to thier mood. Officially its 20 but the might ask for 50 or 100 too.Food stalls are fab sometimes overrated.You will get to see food from different culture, in 2018 it was Rajasthani theme throughout.Clothes for men women are a good bargain.Stuff from Kashmir is quite common in Mahotsav Sthal.Swings are heart of the whole fair, few might be risky make sure you dont get over excited.Kudos!

A very good event as it brings lot of attraction to the city. The participating stalls are providing their best to the customers. The furniture area has something for everyone and its quite vast and so are the others. The theme on Late PM Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee and the Atal gaon presentation in his memory is great. Must visit.

Lucknow mahotsav is biggest fair of the year in lucknow during winters mostly in NOV DEC....in Smriti Upwan......people frm different areas come together and maintain there stalls......in huge ground 4 sections...1 stalls with diferent items2 auditorium where celebrities come3 food court with all kind of famous local delicacies nd of other states as well4 swing section...lots n lots of swingsssFull family masti zone.....and this fair lasts for 10 days.....

Lucknow Mohastav has now become synonymous with the city. Its a great endeavour but its charm and creativity has declined over the years. The state tourism board needs to do more in this respect. Though there are many fond memories associated with the event through the years. :)

Its a perfect place for Lucknow Mahotasaw and enjoyable, good for any fair

Lucknow festival is most exciting festival of Lucknow. Lucknow Mahotsav Sthal is widely open ground with tons of dust. Parking place is sufficient but due large space ground it is difficult to maintain. This sthal is nearly 10 kilometre from Charbagh railway station. Greenery is missing, no help from maintainace staff.

Lucknow Mahotsav is a like celebration by lucknow people... Start in December first week... You can enjoy much here because here come alot of seller and visiter from different states.. Here pic night when I go with my family 6 December

A fair ( Mela) where thousands of crowd comes to see the variety of foods and items of different states. A must visit place during the mahoutsav. The host places changes accordingly depending on the location.

There are some negative also to it that due too, too much crowd parking spaces and roads are always full, it becomes a nightmare driving to the place. The ground in which it is hosted contain a lot of lose sand and dust which flies up in the air due to walking on it and its guaranteed to get your footwears dirty. Other then these there arent much of negatives here and though all of this this place still becomes a must visit. Lucknow mahotsav never leaves you unamused,every single time you visit here, you find something new. This is highly recommended place for everyone.
