Kukrail Park, One the best place for picnic 🧺. It is huge. This park is also an Alligator 🐊 and Crocodile 🐊 Conservation site. Breeding of Alligators is done, so that they don’t become part of endangered species. The forest cover around this Park works as lungs of Lucknow. But there is no canteen in the park or near by.

Must see place in Lucknow. Kukrail is the most green place in between city. Enjoy the fresh air in the morning and be healthy. Crocodile farming centre is also here. You can see crocodile from 4 inches to 14 feet.

The forest area is calm and one could hear birds chirping and see monkeys as well. Unfortunately, the gharial area was closed due to the pandemic but it was still a nice drive and a good break from the city to walk around on the nature trails.

To be honest. Spending just only 1 hour hear will definitely will give you peace of mind

I read reviews about this picnic spot...but this place is more about the what people had written....I shall try to tell you about this place but you must visit this place if you have time....Firstly for photo lovers you can get good background including of alligator, crocodiles and tortoise too....And some beautiful plants and some great sites too...And for nature lover it can prove to be a good journey...Important information regarding going to this place always carry one of your identity proof ...You have to be calm. You cant make noise.While watching tortoise you have to be to careful because they immediately go inside water ..One other thing there are slides and jhoolas for children...and a banyan tree...on which you can swing ( Fun time )...Hope your journey will be awesome..

Could have been better. Big and green area. A nice place to walk and to bring children.Phase 2 has nothing but forest and a place where couple can meet. A place not for families.Phase 1 is for family and children. Children can see crocodile here and also can spend some good and quality time in park.There is a canteen which is always closed and there are also public restrooms. The condition of public restrooms is similar to most of the public restrooms-Pathetic.There is parking place for bike and cars on a reasonable rate.Overall one can go and spend some time there with nature, far from city and its noise and pollution.

A good place for nature lovers, it is a type of reserve for alligator, it has museum too, adjacent to this forest department depot is also present.

This place is a couple spot , dont visit this place between 9-4 pm with your family is you dont wanna feel embarrassed... Although in the evening time childrens come here for playing and jogging

I was here in 2016 for a picnic from school side.Place is good but maintainance is worst.If you like nature, can visit the place.This place is good for spending day hours in winters.A family picnic can be held here.No food is available here so bring your own food here.There are also crocodiles.Greenery is the key point this place, which is not maintained. Otherwise the place will be better.

Needs Maintenance and Transformation.Phase 1 is quite better than Phase 2 because of Crocodile Research Center and Exhibition but Phase 2 is getting highly misused by people to fulfill their desire inside lone environment.

Phase 2 picnic sport is under development. Here only plantation is going on.it is situated on the right bench of Kukrail river. There is a free area where tourist/local person can play the game like football, cricket, badminton etc. This site is approx 1 km from kukrial picnic spot phase -1. First phase attract more tourist then 2nd phase.

Its a nice place to travel and if you interested in seeing wildlife crocodiles. As its basically a 🐊 crocodile reserve park situated in city Lucknow.

Kukrail picnic spot has 2 Phases. Earlier in Phase II, only couple entry was there and couple used to enjoy their private time but from last 1 or 2 year it is closed. If u want to enjoy with family, friends, or u want to have picnic then u can go to Phase I. Lot of greenery is there and it has very good environment to enjoy. U can also see crocodiles, Alligators, Turtle, Tortoise as it is also a crocodile breeding centre. Couples can also go there and can enjoy but dont do such things there in open, which a couple is supposed to do in private.

Kukrail Reserve Forest is located in Indranagar adjacent to Mayur Residency Extension on picnic spot road.In Uttar Pradesh, crocodiles are found in the Ramganga, Suheli, Girwa and Chambal rivers. The female crocodile lays eggs in April by digging holes on the river banks. The young crocodiles hatch in a period of 60 to 80 days. The idea of setting up a breeding center for the endangered crocodile species came after a study by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, UNO in 1975 which estimated that there were only 300 crocodile left in the open rivers of Uttar Pradesh.The centre at Kukrail came up in the year 1978, which was funded by the Uttar Pradesh forest department in collaboration Ministry of Environment and Forests India. This effort marked the beginning of state governments efforts towards conservation of crocodiles at a time when only 300 of them were left.

It was an excellent picnic in my life as i enjoyed all the facilities available here.An excellent food,ambience,resort reooms....fabulousWould recommend this place if you are travelling in a group and are looking for something within a budget. The food is OK as is the ambience. The staff is cooperative and courteous. There is a lot of scope for improvement especially in the housekeeping department - the washrooms and changing rooms need to be cleaned on regular basis considering the crowds on holidays . The pools also can be a littler tidier. We could make out that the chlorine content in the water is high because of the strong smell around the rain dance area

Seriously if you are coming from very far away to see this place i would suggest you to go some where better than this place because here you would not able to see different reptiles like turtle etc .some years before there was a open and wide area to visit but due to indecipline management closed most of area. But if you wanna see tree garden nature etc then you can add this place in your list .

Its good for playing area but if you go to phase one you will get to see crocodiles alligators and even you can have lot of fun there. Phase 2 is basically for couples if you are with your family and friends then I will recommend you to go to phase one. There you will have lot of fun inside. Yes it is not allowed to play there but childrens can have fun.

Couple friendly. You may find love birds all around the corners and behind the tree🤩😍🙈💏. At the end of this there are alligator, crocodile and turtle park. Entry is free. There is also an old museum inside this which opens some times in a decade. Earlier it is used to be nice spot but due to lack of maintenance it is worth only for couples. For morning walk it is a best spot surrounded by fresh air from the forest.
