A must go to place. This was my first visit to this place and I totally loved the ambiance and the food. The quality was exceptional. The thali costs around 275 bucks and is better than all the other buffet restaurants. Also go to know that each and every item present in the delicacy is grown in their backyard and then processed accordingly.

Nice place to dine out. A little pricy but I will say worth an experience. You can try either the thali, or you can order separate baati. Taste of food was good, lassi was also worth trying. Try sweets here as they have many options.

One of the best foods I had.... It was stuffing... First ever time I tried typical Uttar Pradesh food cousine and it was just yummy... Plus the add on of the ambience gave a different vibe... Will definitely visit this place again

Ambience is setup in kinds of rural environment. Food is good enough but with long waiting time.

Visited first time and the experience is too good. Food is too good, traditional exposure. You have to sit here with folded legs (paalthi) and they serve you baati, chokha, raita, chatni, salad, papad, rice and daal. The cost of plate is fixed (at the time when I visited it was ₹300) and you can eat as much as you can. But trust me the served items are more than sufficient.Simply amazing.

Authentic village like ambience.They have two restaurants. One is on first floor which will give you folksy ambience and it is fully carpeted. Here you have khats/charpai in the center, tables on corner and small chowki for sitting area near walls.Ambience was good but the food is non shareable here. So, make sure you are able to finish full plate of baati.There is other restaurant at the entrance next to kachori gali restaurant which also part of Batti Chokha. Here you can order in a la carte type.Items are same and taste too.Give this restaurant a try once. you may like it.

An amazing experience of having Baati Chokha in Benaras. If Baati Chokha dish is what you wish to try, this is the place. Kheer served towards the end mustnt be missed. Booking in advance is recommended.You can also try Benarasi Paan at the shop just around the corner of the street.

Good food, the taste was pretty authentic and would highly recommend if it’s pure food that one wants. Besides that ambience, Sevice, comfort, etc. were not so good. We went on a weeknight, the place was crowded, super noisy, hot as AC seemed to be grossly insufficient and the staff struggled to maintain cleanliness, serve quickly and provide proper seating. Additionally a Rs. 35/- car parking fee seemed outrageous, most good restaurants offer Valet, and yes we may tip the same amount, but stopping vehicles, collecting parking fee, just makes it like a toll booth experience, that cost could have been well built in the food price and a better experience be provided. The management needs to also think of offering a better experience along with good food.

It is really really fantabulous. I have never experienced such a bliss before. If you are living/visiting varanasi, you should definitely come here. When it comes to taste, it is above five stars. It is the first place which is getting 5 stars from my side. You should come here.

I like the concept of this restaurants particularly having meal sitting on ground. Besides this almost every dish presented were really delicious and tasty. Owner and staff both were humble and noble type of person. I would like visit this place again whenever get opportunity to visit Varanasi.

After a 45 minute walk from my hotel to this restaurant in unusually cold weather I thought this place better be worth it. Sure enough, it was! Upon entering the restaurant, the entrance doors and decor makes one think of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom! But realistically, the restaurant was full of locals and not tourists which was a plus for me. The food in itself was quite tasty and quite the adventure. I didnt know half of the things served to me with the special Ive ordered but they were tasty. The restaurant is more for groups. They will take single diners but theyll have you seat with a group of other single or duo diners to take up the table.

They don’t offer extras on some items even though you may feel it is an unlimited meal concept.If they fix their concept this place has great potential.

What to say about this place.......It was an amazing experience to dine here. From ambience to staffs behaviour, dishes taste to their quality...you name it and every thing was perfect here. I tried their special meal of baati and dal with some add-ons in it which costed me 220+tax.Belive me their two plates were more than enough to finish by three foodies. The give lots of ghee which gives added flavour to their dishes and their KHEER was an awesome desert.I also liked thier presentation of serving dishes like leaves plate on top of wooden plates, earthenware clay glass and clay bowls.....Cant appreciate enough......Really a nice place to dine out with your family, friends...or alone😊

We visited in March 2021. it has set menu and the same is served unlimited when you opt for Thali. when we visited they had 2 types of thalis , Bati Chokha and Khichadi. We tried both. Service was quick, place is clean and food is good. what else you need after a day long travel.Each thali comes with either bati chokha or khichadi as main dish, steam rice and daal, butter milk, some pakoras . Its simple & satisfying menu.Food was a little spicy than what i am normally used to but it was absolutely manageable . Also i believe mustered oil was used for some preparation to get the authentic flavor.Worth a visit for Bihari Food /Local Food Experience.
