This is a great place with very good food if not amazing. The location is perfect as its in the heart of Hazratganj and any shopoholics who are tired and famished with all the shopping can visit this place for a good meal. The options in the menu are not just limited to south indian dishes which is a plus for someone who might not be in the mood for same.Suggestion for owner: The sambhar could be a bit better (less sweet and thicker) and the chole could be a bit more masaledar (but its still good).Edit: Hope the suggestion is taken into consideration as well.

Disappointing experience.Although the staff was polite we waited for a good 45 mins for the food to be served. The south Indian thali was not up to the mark in terms of quality,quantity ,taste. Portions of vegetables &sambhar was very less. The mojito that was given was just sprite with pieces of lemon.

We came here for a spot of lunch after reading multiple positive Google reviews. I have to say they are very centrally located. The restaurant itself is extremely clean and well maintained. The ambience is also great, soft colors on the walls and furniture make the place feel very cozy.As far as the food goes, it’s beyond incredible. Full of flavor and with just the right amount of spices as well as seasoning. We ended up getting the Thali which offered a little bit of everything, perfect for a hungry diner. They also offer coconut water direct from the coconut itself.Can’t go wrong with this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Pathetic experience. Ordered sambar Meduvada along with filter coffee. First of all the size of the vada I can’t describe, May be it’s just a little bit more than Rs.10 coin, which I can totally understand but you should mention that in your menu ( size) because as a person from south India I know the standard size of meduvada. The next thing made me really annoyed is the duration for delivering items. It took more than half an hour to deliver this much food . And finally I don’t know what you meant by the filter coffee coz as the name of filter coffee I got Luke warn normal coffee( May be your chef doesn’t know how authentic filter coffee tastes and make )

1st time ordered biryani - taste was good - quantity less not enough for single person.2nd time ordered idli dosa that was good but chutney in a small portion, atleast provide in a suffiecient quantity so that it should be enough.3rd time ordered chole bhature was worst - please remove chole bhature etc..from your menu..Amount is a way much than the quantity of food delivered.

Sambhar - It is a solution of salt with some yellow color and some gourd. No taste at all.Dosa has changed its form. No authenticity.This hotel has got no South taste. Those cooking here dont know to prepare South Indian Dishes.Filter coffee is not good at all.Go to some normal restaurent, that will be better.Total waste of money.5 star reviews are fake.

I have been there a couple of times, their sambhar vada, masala dosa, onion masala dosa is what Ive had most. The ambience is okay and service is fine. Do not go for virgin mojito. I did not like it. Soft drinks are fine. And gulaab jamun is yum. Good to go.

Authentic South Indian food in Lucknow. Its one of the centrally located South Indian restaurant in hazaratganj. We tried meal, uthapam, dosa, idiapam and many more, all items was great in taste. I didnt like sambhar much. Interior is nicely decorated and have ample space. Outside the restaurant you dont have any parking space but you can park in nearby parking area. Also outside this restaurant there is no view as its behind a template.

Its paneer dosa is the best.

Had been craving good South Indian food since I moved to Lucknow from Kerala. Curry leaf went a long way in solving that. Loved their paperdosa, Mysore masala dosa, sambar and variety of chutneys. Great service and good ambience. Its right next to the multilevel car parking in Hazratganj, so that was convenient. Will definitely return.😊

One of the best places in Hazratganj.The ambience was extremely cozy. The lightings were great. It felt like a place where you can hang out with your family as well as friends..I order the thali and curd rice. They both were extremely yummm, like finger licking yummm..The staff were friendly and prompt. The seating is comfortable and offers enough privacy. The service is quick. The menu offers both typical South Indian fare of varied Idli, vada, and dosas, as well as mini and regular meals. The mini meals are ok for a regular appetite while the regular meal would be good if one was hungry. There’s a section for North Indian menu too. I had Paneer Chettinad for the first time in my life. Unique indeed.The negatives - First is the cost. Two idlis for 120 Rupees or a filter coffee at 70 or a regular meal at 250 is robbery. Also that typical South Indian flavours were missing in Sambar, Rasam and butter milk. I would venture again only if I was lost for choices
