Amazing food, fabulous staff, Mesmerising Ambiance. You just don’t get everything right, but here you have it all.You can undoubtedly spend quality time with your loved ones & parents. The taste suits all.The batti is just the best, chokha is like home madeSeasonings are temptingDal and kheer are show stopper… both cooked just adequate.Looking forward to visit them again…A must try if you are in town
A good place to have traditional food with family... Service is good.. Ambience of the place gives you a feel of peace , a village look within an ac controlled environment... To sum up, its culmination of traditional plus modern way of presentation with an awesome taste of food... Would definitely recommend... Infact u may have to wait for ur turn here... It has a waiting list too .... Try to go in odd hours ....(afternoon or early evening)
Innovative ambience... Food was too good specially if you want to spend quality time with your family.. Visit this place... Every thing is perfact from ambience to food... Battis are delicious.. They serve in clay pot that makes the taste more better...
Very nice place to visit with family and friends. Complete village theme architecture, food and hospitality. Waiting period is slightly high and you may have to wait for food. Food quality is but but quantity is less. Although test is amazing. This place is near to Manoj Pandey chauraha, At Mithaibala chauraha, gomti nagar.
Simply Fantastic ❤. Located right in the middle of Gomti Nagar, this place teleports you to the ghats of Banaras.Amazing ambiance and equally amazing is their hospitality and service. Now coming onto their food 😋We ordered sattu and paneer bati of which we liked the sattu one better. The chokha and the daal handi were simply mind blowing. If you are a ghee lover, this is your heaven 😇.We ordered mithi lassi along with our meal which was a meal on its own. Very dense and delicious. Finally for dessert, we ordered kheer and bakheer of which we liked the kheer more.Bakheer is just kheer with added jaggery. Didnt like the flavor and the rice used.Overall, its a nice place to have a lazy brunch on a lazy weekend afternoon.Thank you for an amazing experience ❤.
Resturant Was Good Taste is Little bit Different from real taste of Varanasi Baati Chokha As They Said in the Tagline ....The Real Taste of Varanasi. Set-up if good As they are Dining like 90s Type Sit on the table but eat in Pure Soil make Utensils. What to be said called .*Pattal,Dona,Kulhad) The Main Dish Is *Baati Chokha* Here. The Taste of Baati is Good But The Chokha was normal. As they Are spending too much Amount on Dinning or Take Away .Services , What They Actually Have to Give is. Taste of Chokha. To CustomersGood Place to visit with family (Recommended) Price are Normal Not Much costly orBut if you are The Real taste taker. then Dont Go There.
It is good to go. Ambience is ofcourse different and good to enjoy.Food is tasty with good quantity.Price is also fine.I would recommend veg pakoda and chai. (Chai they make super tasty)
Baati Chokha Restaurant is present in 3 cities. Varanasi, Lucknow and Kolkata. They offers varities of baati including Paneer, sattu and plain etc.The taste of spices and green chutney is really good. The ambience is so peaceful. You can feel like being at two places at one time ( Rajasthan & UP ).Must visit place for foodies. They have a tagline: Taste of Banaras. They offer only pure vegetarian.
This was just wow.Simple good food with an authentic design taste. You go there with clear expectations of having baati chokha which is fire baked wheat balls filled with Chana powder which is called baati along with chokha which is a veg preparation from brinjal and potatoesAlong side you will get options to order rice, chaas, curd and some Desi desserts. The food, presentation, decor is all quite nice. A must visit as per me
Staff is good but the managee is extremely unprofessional, talks very rudely, doesnt know how to handle customers, food was ok but overall experience was very bad just because of manager. And that was my last time there. He started judging me if i am poor or something. The way he talked was humiliating.
Superb taste everything is excellent.. the aura the dishes.. great experience
A literally lit place to be at. Great lighting amazing staff. Cheerful and helpful. Cater to any of you genuine requests. You can click amazing photos here with your friends and family. Its generally crowded in evenings and nights. So for a bit calmer experience you can visit it during the lunch hours. Is near sbi Bank branch and inside a nice residential area in gomti Nagar. Its very near to manoj pandey chauraha and a restraunt called illiachi is just opposite to it. A lot of pots and pan sellers sell pottery to on side of main road here. While coming here to eat you can also buy some of it for your home or flat. Its a nice place and getting a cab or a tempo or shared auto is very easy as main road is in front of it. And its a very busy road with constant traffic.
Perfect place, if you like baati chokha. Portion size quite big.
Good taste and ambience.. Naturally the place is crowded so they have to start considering on expansion. Also, I firmly believe they should consider taking advance reservations so that patrons dont have to wait on their visit. Overall a good experience!!
Love it . The ambiance , The Food , The quick delivery to the table and the best not at all expensive . Its a good place to show to ppl as a restraunt who are new to lucknow. I have been to this place twice now 1st time went with my husband then went with my in laws they to loved it as the food is not spicy also.
Excellent Food. Good service. Must Visit, if you want To have Desi food, in desi Style
The ambience is super impressive. Right on the entry point youll be able to see how food is getting prepared in clay pots on coal oven. The service and behaviour of the staffs are very commendable. Sitting arrangements are very comfortable and cozy. Ordered special baati-chokha thali, khichdi and paneer pakoda papad. It was a gastronomic experience. Amongst the heavenly non-vegetarian joints in Lucknow this restaurant came out to be a pure vegetarian gem. Definitely recommended.
Every dish has yummy taste.Interior designing memorise us the days of our childhood we spent in the home village.
Bhut he bdiya taste with good service and excellent ambience
Amazing place... This is beauty of indian villages which u can see and feel in the environment of this restaurant. Taste is also amazing and the staff is very friendly and cooperative... A must vist place if like indian villages and traditional food of india.. Baati chokha, daal, satuu paratha, kheer and so many other traditional items of north india.
“Aatma tript ho gayi”Taste is too good , spacious sitting arrangement Parking available and variety of baati. Most important rates are quite reasonable
Very nice place with traditional authentic tast e of Baati-Chokha.Other indian traditional cuisines also very good.
Restaurant is very good. But Difficult to find on google map
One of the best place to have authentic Baati Chokha in traditional atmosphere.. must visit place
Best place to eat in Lucknow. Great taste, ambience and service. You deserve to eat here. We ordered special thali. It was wholesome meal
Restaurant is clean and hygiene. Taste was good. The chokha is not have smoked flavor. Little bit more cost they charged for chokha. Overall ok.
Nice Restaurant. Baati Chokha was very tasty.Way of serving is very fantastic.
A great family place to enjoy the most lovable desi meal Baati ChokhaServes hot, properly stuffed and cooked baati with desi ghee which can be added as per taste and the complimentary tomato chutney is also great. You can go for the thaali which is sufficient for an average appetite person or order separately one thing I felt is the quantity of Chokha served when ordered separately was less. You can have 4 baati in one plate Chokha of you eat generously like me 😅Rest all things like service ambience attentiveness was all good.
Awesome experience must try for pure desi taste..
Price 8/10Quality 9/10Service 8/10One of the best place to have a quality litti .What was out of ordinary was that they use clay pot instead of fiber or steel plates.During peak hours waiting time can go as long as 1 hr or more .Friendly staff .This place gives a stroll down the memory lane of good old days as it is designed as a hut .They accept card and cash payment .One draw back is parking availability.
A great place to go out with family for a lunch or dinner maybe.. yummy litti chokha! The service is really good they serve in the lucknowi andaz :)
Good but quite changed what we used to see in VaranasiEven in special Thali which prices much from Varanasi location, Snacks are missing which Varanasi Restaurant offers.Baati can be more good. Taste was not up Mark buy that may be because it was peak time of Saturday Night. But as a good Restaurant I suppose it should be maintainedOverall all an OK experience
I Love this place for specially Bati Chokha, Awesome test and service too good. I would like to recommend you guys must to go there once.
No one food specially bati chokha with tomato chutney
Ordered via Swiggy (order no. 112977510033) could only taste mustard oil.........money wasted. Would never order and would never recommend to any one. Either people dont know how chokha tastes or the cook was high while preparing the dish. Any way..... Money wasted.....
If anyone wants to taste beyond the exquisite delicacy of non-veg (Briyani, Kebabs) in Lucknow, Baati Chokha is definitely something one must try.The ghee laden bati and chokha will definitely tickle your taste buds. Their special combo is recommended if you are unable to select from al a carte. Ambience and hospitality of staffs are also good.
Loved this place. It is a family restaurant with good food and polite services which makes you visit this place againIf you love Desi food, this is a muat go place
Wonderful. Had the same great experience in Varanasi. The food is simple and great. And the Gulab Jamun is Devine.
Good n tasty food... 😀😀👍👍
Delicious food. Good ambience. Nice place. Would love to visit again.
When you enter the entrance you can see the interior gives the feel of the village home. The service is really good (but its hard to get a seat if you havent registered from before hand). The baati chokha is the speciality here (as per the name) . The ambiance, dining is also really good. The price can be a bit high for common folks.
Loved the ambience, the food tasted great. Served in basic style on plate of leaves. Simplicity at its best. For the one who love to taste the basic.
Its good. These days because of covid its better to get your order packed. Quality of food is good.
Nice tasty food served here... Should try once very very delicious... 300 bucks for one
One of its kind. Nice Ambience. Nice Service.
Great Rustic Food. Authentic Easter UP Litti Chokha.
Like the food and ambience. Staff behaviour is very nice.
Very good 👌😊😊😊😊😊👍👌👌👌👌👌......if anyone wants to taste natural delicacy of uttar Pradesh please visit it....and dont forget to book your seat beforehand...its too crowded
Baati Chokha is recently opened their new restaurant in Lucknow. Heard lots of good thing about this restaurant so i decided to go and visit this restaurant with my friends. Visiting this place is somewhat feels like you have come to old indian rural village because they decorated this restaurant to give that feel.As visit we found that the restaurant is full and we have to wait for 10-20 min outside. After booking and filled the info. we sat down outside. You cant believe that they kept Khatias for that to give village feeling. We were never ever thought to get this kind of experience its nice though. After waiting time and we got our number and we entered the restaurant and surprised to see their decoration inside. As you enter you will find big well at the right corner and side of well they made little temple. This is so awesome to see. All ambience is decorated in truly rural village. All over their are lanterns and painting on walls is also nice.As now time for order so we got menu and found very less food items as they said its taste of Banaras. We ordered Kadai paneer with ghee chapattis and bati chokha. After 10 mins food arrived on our table. The taste of Kadhai paneer is so delicious and very well cooked and its melts in our mouth. Ghee chapatis are also tasty and lots of ghee on it and Bati Chokha is decent and good in taste. Overall food is delicious and great value for money. Staff is also friendly and always ready to serve you.So if you want to try Indian rural village experience with traditional Banaras style dishes then sure visit Baati Chokha restaurant.Keep it up Baati Chokha Team.
Taste was good...kheer was nice too and paneer paratha as well
Wonderful ambience!! A must visit place for food lovers! The food , the setup everything is so desy and authentic. Do try it whenever you are in Lucknow next time.
The restaurant situated in lucknow gives you the taste of Varanasi bati and chokha...even the interior makes you feel you are in Varanasi...it has all the veg food which you get in a normal restaurant bt its specialist which goes by its name..Sattu Bati and chokha...its a must try dish in this restaurant.
Great place to hv Baati chokha with reasonable pricing
Its very good place for those who like villages and having same in food with zabardast desi Khana 👌👌
If you want to enjoy Rajasthani food in Lucknow you should definitely come to this place. The menu is limited but the food is good. I liked the theme of this place.
One of best restaurants if you need home like food with balanced spices. Ambience of this place will make you feel that you are in village - something different. Food is very tasty as they use their own grinded spices. Speciality of this place is baati chokha which is served with daal , rice and green chutney. Palak paneer is must try which is very unique and filled with charcoal smoke taste. Ideal place for small get together and birthday parties.
Asked Several times not to put onion on my order, but they literally Ignored all the instructions despite of agreeing to all of it...and they do used salt like in Lumps...hospitality is at its worst. When i reported this issue on my order, they didnt give a single budge about it. This is a kind of Mental Harrassment.
In love with this place, the rustic feel with desi village like food is really heartwarming. They have trued to give the olace a village look as well which has turned out really good. They have a very interesting menu which you wont find anywhere so easily like farre, dal baati churma etc. And the way they serve it on a leaf plate with lots of desi ghee on the side is a treat to watch. On my plate-Baati/litti chokaDaalRiceFried farre3 types of chutneys they serve, tamarind chutney, coriander mint chutney and tomato green chilly one.Onion saladAnd ofcouse a bowl ful of desi ghee. All tasted superb specially the baati chokha
Taste is good. Baati is not that soft else everything was great.
The restaurant is a must visit if all you care about is ambience. The setup is very cool and refined to the last detail. However, the food served is simply bland and if you hail from a place where authentic Baati Chokha are made, you might not enjoy the taste so much. Dont get me wrong, the presentation of food was really good along with the number of choices and side servings but neither of bati, chokha, khichdi or fried phara were to the mark. Place is a must visit once for the fact that the ambience and setup is superb but the food did not entice me even little bit.
This restaurant is near mithaiwala chauraha. Apart from baati chokha is serves other dishes as well like parathas, veggies etvThali is of 220rs and its worth it 😋😋 - it contains two baati chokha , dal, rice , chutney & ghee is complimentary 😋😋Ambience is good and all spices are made here only. Food is good , tea is very niceEach separate baati cost is 25rs/ pc and chokha is 170rs/ plate. If you love baati chokha its good 👍
Beautiful place with ethinic aura 😀
Ambience is good. The servers are polite. The kheer and khichdi was best.
The restaurant is very awesome and its design is traditional n food is very tasty n chokha bati is so awesome
Really loved the food 😋,the vibe was really awesome!!! And service was also really good!!!
I really loved the experience. Liked the special thali. I was thinking the pander batti would be better than that sattu one. But no, sattu batti was awesome. The food was not too spicy, lassi and chach both were good. Do take the experience of eating in pattal and drinking in kullad. I really liked it. You can check the images the ambience is also good.
Yummy 😋 ambiance is awesome
Very nice restaurent. Village theme. Fantastic food specially baati chokha which is the signature dish. Must visit if you are in lucknow and looking for a unique culinary experience. The food is served in a very traditional way. Taste is amazing. They have local dishes such as kadhi chawal, dal chawal, khichdi, chapati, paratha etc apart from the baati chokha. Deserts also like kheer, halwa etc. Water is served in traditional kulhad which is a nice touch. Chatni is also there. Overall an amazing experience.
Very good ambiance, decor and innovative concept.Prices are okay but that is subjective. Approx 400-600 for 2 peopleTaste and service both are good.
Village based theme. Food is made by hands instead of machines. Taste is lovely. A must visit once place in lucknow.
We are regular visitor of this place...homely, tasty food with less spice and oil..healthy food, cozy environment
Nice place if wanted to try authentic bati chokha
My word! What a beautiful place! What an authentic restaurant! Other restaurants are using authentic word as marketing strategy. They have used desh ki mitti everywhere on their walls. The entrance.......I mean just wow! Burning logs on the sides and a tulsi in the middle of the aangan! The door, ambiance, decor, service, is just marvellous. The place is very eco friendly. They have not used plastics, melamines etc. They serve on pattal placed on a wooden plate. They bring dishes in earthen pots which enhances the taste and ghee in steel one.Apart from this, we get to drink water from kullhad. Theres nothing better than the kullhadsWait, the story isnt over.At last, they have also gud as sweetner. Does any restaurant provide this!? I hope not.Thats why this one is best.If restaurant want suggestions, then I would say you can make seating arrangements on the floor (dehati style), atleast in one area, many restaurants offer this facility so why not you! It would just add a charm to this place.
It serves Eastern UP,western Bihar cuisine, ambience is good, food quality excellent, one can enjoy baatis(litti),chokha( a kind of mashed vegetable preparation of fire roasted brinjals, tomatoes, fresh coriander, ginger, etc, dal(lentils),accompanied with condiments such as fresh coriander chutney, ghee(clarified butter), desserts are kheer, bakheer,(a kheer made from gud(jaggery), many other dishes are available, service is fast and courteous, hygienic settings, overall offers an enjoyable experience at affordable prices
Nice ambience, a feel of village with paintings on mud wall, the taste is awesome and service is fast. Prices are also good.
It is a Theme based restaraunt that makes you feel like you are in a cottage in village and they constantly keep doing those paintings on the wall ,as the walls are done with mud and the paints keeps loosing color as the moisture content is high. The serving is done in plates made with leaves and earthen pots. Only spoon is steel ones.Baati choka is a great dish here so must try as thats authetic food from Bihar.Service was a bit slow but food was good
Nostalgic ambiance, high end, truly the taste of Banaras!! Go for it, if you want a quiet dinner with old classics playing in the background.
Best bati chokha served here. And the ambience is amazing. And the food prices are also very convenient!
If you ever happened to be in Lucknow this is a must place to visit. Best ever Litti and Chokha ever had. You will be spellbound to see the ambience. Food is prepared in a typical desi style. Quality food.
Beautiful traditional place !!Great taste of foods and behaviour of staff is also good. Little bit costlier if compared to other restaurants. Overall its good
Amazing food, lovely ambience, courteous staff. Its a must visit place in Lucknow.
Got the thali combo with kheer... Delicious kheer..Really lovely lunch.. Ambience was similar to a village setup.. to mind your head though..
