The softest most delicious Bagels Ive ever had! Oh my God whatever they bake here is absolutely incredible. I came in with a friend for some breakfast in a coffee and I Am So Satisfied with this place I cant even tell you. Wonderful atmosphere, its nice inside the bathrooms were clean and we were met with a smile. I got everything bagel with some Dill and Capers smear on it Im in heaven!. I got a small coffee and the coffee tastes delicious they put the cream and sugar in themselves but it was just perfect! Sometimes I wish that I live closer to places like this but maybe not because Im probably being here everyday eating more bread than i should. You could definitely go overboard in this place as anything you pick is probably going to be absolutely delicious.

Really nice restaurant with soft Italian music in the background! I got both the MELTITUDE OF TUNA and HO BARCELONA.. really really good! Mixed variety of breads of your choosing to go with you Hot or Cold Sandwhich..price range is up there! But definitely worth the flavor (:

I didnt hate the place but my kids told.me.to never take them.there again. There were so many flies in the bread case, even dead flies which an employee removed while helping us and another muffin had multiple little flies on it. I hope they didnt sell that.

Amazingly good food. Amazing ham and cheese croissants, great Jerusalem bagels, and the Ho Barcelona! Sandwich is next level. I probably go here once a week, its just great food for an amazing price.Highly recommend!

Sourdough based bread is super good! Not as hard as other stores which is exactly what I like. Dried figs and walnut favor is a really clever combination.Best kougin amann! Crispy on top, soft for the button, and just good amount of sugar for caramelization.

I was so excited to try Bread lounge because I love bread. Been meaning to come here and when I finally did, was greatly disappointed. The bread indeed looked really good, but there were gnats flying all around inside the bread display. Landing on the bread and flying around and landing on another one. I wanted to try it but I couldn’t get myself to do it. When we notified the cashier she said “it’s because it’s a hot day”... well I guess we can only come here on a cold day then.

Quality croissants and coffee. Vast menu options. Beautiful seating area in the back with parking.Reminded us of Boulted Bread in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Ive been coming to the Bread Lounge since they opened... it was great back then, but with a couple years, it has truly refined something already great, into something really special. Ive had their take on a meatball sandwich upwards of 20 times and this past visit blew me away. The dining space has expanded with more tables and the service is fast and friendly. Dont be affraid to explore the menu, everything I have ordered has been delicious. Ill certainly be returning next time Im in the area...oh, dont forget to get a loaf of fresh bread and some crazy good snacks to take home!

Excellent NYC pizza. Ordered delivery online about 10 minutes before the place closed on a Friday night. I figured it wouldnt be their best performance but I was mistaken. Hot, fresh, thin, flavorful and arrived very quickly. I was impressed and they even included red pepper flakes for me at no extra charge. Yum!

I enjoyed the lunch of an Up the stream sandwich and salad that I ordered over the phone for pickup. The staff person who took my order was cordial and when I arrived I found my order complete and again I was served by a courteous and professional staff member, the Bread Lounge has a new customer!

Great HH! We had $1 oysters. Hubby said they were some of the best hes had. We started with 8 and ended up ordering 8 more. We also tried the wings. They were good but more like a piece of fried chicken rather than a wing. That sounds weird! but they were super crispy and didnt have sauce on them. Overall, a good experience and good food so Id go back!

Bunch of flies on the bread and the workers there didn’t care one bit when we brought up the issue.

The cakes here are delicious and are always top notch. If you order something the cake will always be fresh. I dont know where they get their strawberries because even if they arent in season their strawberry shortcake is always the best.

My go-to in DTLA for rustic bread. You will always get bread baked fresh daily on location with the right amount of crust in each loaf, and if you ask they will slice it. Been a patron since their doors opened for business. They offer a variety of daily baked pastries. Espresso and regular coffee brewed with La Colombe coffee beans.I’m a huge fan of the banana loaf with chocolate chips as well as the gluten-free chocolate loaf...always a hit when I purchase these for my peers, friends, and colleagues, as gifts.A jar of their tapenade is a must! It always goes well with any of their bread loaves as a snack.

I have been visiting this place for several years. This may be the best sandwich/bread spot in the downtown neighborhood. They recently expanded space to put more tables. I Love Parisian, Ho Barcelona, Against the stream, and East is East sandwiches. Cookies and croissant are top notch. Highly recommended.

They have delicious fresh break and their food is amazing. The coffee is good but nothing too special. I have only had their take out because I never tried it pre COVID but I can say their food travels well.

My favorite lunch spot for weekdays. Parking is usually valet but street parking is an option. During the morning and lunch time, it is usually crowded but plenty of seating is available inside and outside. However, I suggest reserving the table prior to arrival if you are coming with a large party. The Croissant and Jerusalem bagle is pretty big. They have limited options for salad and soup. If you love cheese, try the cheesy affair panini. I usually order the Lavant salad with slices of bread on the side. They also offer chocolate chip cookies, gluten free snacks and various types of bread.

The way gluten is suppose to be made. Not overly busy or pretentious, just a cafe with delicious baked goods.

Im a bread lover.... what can I tell you. But then again I dont trust people that dont like bread. Any more than I trust people that dont like dogs! Anyway, I discovered this place simply by happenstance. I ordered all kinds of breads including rye, sourdough and Olive. And I think a few more but I havent gotten into those yet. The breads were fantastic, crispy crust just the way I like it. Then I decided to go back and have breakfast. I had some absolutely delicious quiche and a ricotta Danish. I ordered a almond croissant which I did not like. The coffee was great. Then we went back another time for lunch. They had the most fantastic tuna sandwich that had all kinds of incredible things on it including sriracha. And my friend had a turkey with cheese and several other items on it. It was delicious. So bottom line is, I love the place and I highly recommend it.

Im so pleased that this bakeshop is down our road, because they have nice croissants. What I like about this bakeshop is that its not too nice for their pastries.

Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Next time Ill be back with my relatives. The bill was good for how much you get.

The best baguette, grain stick bread ever

Artisanal pastries made for beings with a fondness for sugary foods. Portions are big, buttery and warm. So delicious. I tried the cinnamon roll for breakfast and got the giant Kouign-Amann to take away. The fact that I ate it once in the plane and I couldn’t go back to buy ten more, still haunts me. :)

Their banana pudding will take you to heaven! It is that good! Had heard about this place but this was our first time there and we are very satisfied! Cute design inside and good coffee compliment their baked goods!

This place seems constantly busy, and for a good reason. A small, but lovely cafe that serves light meals and breakfast foods. Anywhere that sells breakfast up to 2am is good in my book, but these sandwiches were unbelievable.

This place makes my heart happy. Everything Ive tried is amazing. Their scones are the best!

Ate a late Breakfast in the time of Covid. They have seating in the front and back. I sat in the back with a friend and their dog. They really do try to not touch anything directly. As usual delicious food. Had the quiche and had to bring a pain au chocolat home for my kid.

I am grateful for not living next to it, as I would be there every single day. The owner is there too, which is always refreshing to see. Stop by early. The bread is absolutely to die for - I think it is all extremely delicious, and fear not, there should be some gluten free options soon.

Its more circular and dense. The outside is perfectly slightly crisp and the inside is airy but also densely filled with layers of butter. It truly is so delicious.

This is an absolute gem of a place when it comes to sandwiches, breads, soups, snacks, and even dessert. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food and with the bread made fresh on location, it is very difficult to find another lunch spot that is as gratifying, delicious, and cost effective as this place. I moved my office out of this location a year and a half ago and I will still drive up to 30 minutes just to go back for the delicious sandwiches, office snacks, and lunch menu.

Been craving for airline bread and was looking for bread that would be good for butter spread. Found this and really loved their bun. I forgot what its called but its very soft and has sesame seeds on top. My bf loved their Ho Barcelona sandwich.

Staff is very efficient and are careful to wear masks.

This is easily the best turkey sandwich Ive ever had. The bread is truly something special - crispy and not overly fluffy with a generous amount of olives. The salad was also amazing with a dill dressing that Ive never had before on top of a bed of fresh greens. Cant recommend this place enough and cant wait to go back!

My partner and I visited Bread Lounge on a Saturday morning, so parking was not a problem and it wasnt crowded. We ordered several things. The breakfast focaccia with egg, bacon and feta was tasty and light. The bread was just the right thickness. The pastries we had, an apple tart and a circular raisin thing, were delicious. We also shared a bowl of yogurt, fruit and granola...so good! The cappuccinos at Bread Lounge were the best weve had in a while. Dont hesitate to visit Bread Lounge! They produce quality products that are well worth your money!

If you love fresh bread, this is the place you want to enjoy the basics such as sandwiches and muffins. The basics are so much better than ANY OTHER place. The complex pastries and fresh bread loaves are absolutely wonderful. They serve salads as well. If you are on a diet.... DONT COME HERE. But if your lookin to cheat on your diet, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Excellent food

Was not sure what to expect. Pleasantly surprised! The pastries are delicious and reasonably priced. We split the Aegean quiche which came with a large pile of greens, lightly dressed. Amazing! Im still dreaming about that quiche. My cappuccino was good, as well. Highly recommend!
