Wow what a little gem. My friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat before a gig at the Roundhouse on Saturday evening. We hadn’t booked but the had a table for us. I had beef Thai green curry and garlic rice. My mate had a pork stir fry-i’m not sure which she had but it looked nice and she ate it all. We had a fancy starter for 2. Good customer service.

I absolutely love this restaurant! By far the best Thai I’ve been in London. Not only the food is excellent, staff members are very welcoming and the place is very cosy. Also, Jessica always treats me very well! :)

My wife and I have a long love affair with Thai food, after spending a few months in Thailand. The problem is, problem is, it never taste just like there. That is until we stumbled upon this beautiful place. A family business, Honest Thai food, base on the mother’s recipes. Nice people, very welcoming. Attention to detail, and ingredients are as close to Thai as you could possibly find in this part of the world. I would recommend eating at the restaurant, because it’s just so pleasant. Highly recommended.

I ordered pad Thai and red curry from deliveroo! It’s quite close to my home. I tried it twice and the food is so authentic and tasty!

I could write an essay about how great the food was, but Ill summarise in 1 sentence: this is the best Thai place in London. The Massaman curry is indescribably delicious.The staff were so friendly and nice and we cannot wait to go back again.

Love Thai food but found this restaurant to be very disappointing. The food was below average, quality was very poor, small portions whilst pricy. We ordered 4 main dish spent nearly £50 on food last night and was very excited to try this restaurant but we were all left disappointed. I love fish so I ordered the sea bass which was supposed to be a whole fish and costs £14.95 (pricey) but all we got was what seems to be a third of a sea bass covered in thick sauce. Another one of the dish we ordered, jungle something or another had no taste at all but very spicy hot, the meat was supposed to be pork but couldn’t tell if it was or not as didn’t taste like any pork I had eaten before. The rest of the food was equally disappointing so most of them ended up in the bin. My son said we would have been better off buying a bucket of KFC. Would definitely NOT recommend…..poor quality food but extremely high price

First time trying this place after a quick search on google for Thai food in the area. I actually selected this place over another Thai restaurant just because of the tasty looking food pics from some previous diners and the clean authentic decor! Quick on the spot decisions! So I am really surprised when reading some of the reviews about the “rude lady” and mediocre food!Mine and my sister’s experience was a very different and pleasant one! We was first approached by a friendly waitress with limited English (Bless her!). I enquired about a dish but she had difficulty understanding but another lady came swiftly to assist (I assume this is the ‘rude lady’ that a few have mentioned). Assuming she is the owner, she answered my question and told me that the dish I was looking for is not served the same way in the restaurant, but she was very accommodating and added the extra ingredients to my dish (an fried egg on top! Easy on the spice!) to make it how I wanted it - although this may not have costed her a arm and a leg, it was very nice gesture to offer this complimentary as she didn’t have to.We ordered a starter mixed plate along with a couple of duck dishes with coconut rice which was divine! I tried the Thai ice tea which was made to perfection! Very yummy indeed!Throughout the meal, both waitresses came over to check that we were ok. I would say that the food was fresh, portions generous (I couldn’t even finish my main dish) and came quickly. We even had a nice chat with the owner lady about Thailand and recommendations on where to travel next! I honestly left the restaurant feeling really catered to and actually said to my sis “The lady is very nice! Food was nice too!” I will be visiting again!Had I read the reviews prior to heading to this restaurant, they might have put me off but I’m glad I didn’t and actually got to experience it myself with a very pleasant outcome!

Rude staffVery small portions

This was my first time trying Thai food and I went with a friend who had been before. The food was delicious, served quickly and the staff were happy to make changes. Plus the golden lotus flower candle holders were so pretty. Great place to eat

I would have given them 5 stars if they didnt rush me and if they gave me 5 kanom jeeb instead of 4 since its almost a pound per piece (£5.95). Delicious too so thats even more disappointing that I was missing one piece. I like the stir fried mixed veggies. Seems a bit small but overall good.

Ordered Egg Fried Rice and some Prawn Curry Dish. Table of 3.Attended at a quiet hour, was seated immediately. Front of house presented menus: when inquired about portion sizes and heat (chilli) was both vague and excessively detailed respectively; spoke in a blunt and condescending manner - prompting desire to leave.Food arrived within 15min, rice portions were very small (ramekin size). Actual server was very well mannered and attentive. Egg fried rice contained one lump of egg - not well integrated however food was still very enjoyable.Pricing is excessive especially for rice and noodles (plain noodles were just under £5!!!). Service charge was automatically added despite small group (3 people) and had minimum card payment of £10.Summary: Good food but basics dishes are very overpriced and front of house is unpleasant.Food - 4/5Decor - 5/5Service - 3/5

Thai Ambience checkAuthentic Thai Cuisine CheckI had tempura and tea in this restaurant and both of them tasted just superb. The interior and seating is traditional and thereby creating a perfect ambience. Staff is polite and happy to help. One of the down side which I felt is that for dine in as well they have a minimum order limit and when I went there, only cash is accepted. But to taste Thai cuisine this place is a must try.

Absolutely rude staff. Literally kicked out from the restaurant as people were waiting to be seated. My meal lasted 25 minutes and I have been told that they dont usually accept only one guest. So, next time just say it in advance rather than treat people like it. I rushed my drink and the bill was on the table at half meal.

RUSHED service, RUDE staff, very COLD restaurant.The place looks cozy and welcoming but dont be fooled!! The staff wanted to take our order 1 minute after we arrived and kept coming back every minute saying their kitchen closes at 11pm (it was 9pm!). When I was ready to order after 10mins they kicked us out because my friend wasnt having any food just drinks. Id understand if the restaurant was busy but it was a few tables filled only. We asked why werent we notified that we both need to have a meal but they wouldnt communicate with us.They were really unpleasant and downright RUDE! NEVER COMING BACK Their loss, I eat a lot!

A small place with nice comfortable seating an attentive staff. The food is great with a lot of options without being too much and Ive never been disappointed in any of the ones Ive had. The decor is also very nice and the overall environment is welcoming and a nice place to eat a meal in.

Ate here before a show at the Roundhouse. It was extremely busy so we were asked if we would like to share a table with other people, which we were happy to do. The service was quick, and the food was really delicious (we had Pad Thai and Massaman). By the time we finished our meal there was a gigantic queue out the door, so it’s obviously popular.

The WORST experience ever, never go back! The owner is so rude to customers!I came to this restaurant for a family meal on 17th May 2019. At the time the restaurant was fairly busy. The woman who runs the restaurant served us (as she doesnt allow any of her staff to interact or do anything with customers). I was slightly confused by her question when she was taking our order and I felt like she was rude and abrupt so I kindly asked her I know youre busy but please do not be rude. Following this the lady told us that she is not rude, and if we didnt like the service get up and leave. Following this, the owner refused to serve us any longer and told us to get up and get out, refused to give us her name, swore at us and made us leave her restaurant for asking her not to be rude to us! The whole restaurant witnessed this and were totally shocked by her inability to speak to her paying customers. I have never felt so victimized and bullied by a restaurant in my whole dining experience. If I knew somewhere where I could report her poor behavior I would as this was the WORST experience ever. I would rather starve than go back to this awful place.

We were sat quickly but then waited for ages to order. The waitress was alone and attempting to seat, clear tables, take orders and serve food for all tables in the restaurant - hence the wait.Her attitude was abrupt. She seems inconvenienced when we wanted additional rice... but understandable considering she was alone.The food was okay.While I would not recommend going to this restaurant, my partner and I found the humour in the situation. It doesnt seem that this was an isolated incident by reading these reviews. So if you want to see ridiculously rude hospitality skills then its worth coming here for the entertainment value.PS maybe a snack before as you might get hungry while waiting.

We went here last night and the food was tasty but the service was incredible. We were served by a waiter called Jamie who was basically running the floor and was the best waited Ive met in a long time.. Very attentive and personable. He is an asset to this place... Would highly recommend!

First time and I will be coming back for more! I felt welcomed the staff were always smiling and were really nice to answer all the questions. Food was great! I will suggest the roast pork curry. As long as service is good the food will always be great! I am not sure if I got his name right but “Boud” served us and he did great job! Will come back for more!

Pretty good food and amazing ambiance.

The restaurant itself is simple and nothing special. Food is reasonably tasty and well priced. Service was adequate but not much more. Open late too 23:00 hours however closed for lunch.

Food is fine (red curry was good) but the welcome was not great (got told pretty abruptly to order quickly even though arrived a hour before 2230 close) and we got overcharged by 20% (so check your bill). So wont be going back...

Even though she was rude to me, I still try my best to stay calm and polite, and now I just walked out of the restaurant with full regret!She insisted me to leave and pay my bill after I told her politely that one of the foods I was having in the table wasn’t what I ordered, as well as the beancurd(tofu) was tasted rotten. (Trust me, I am an Asian I know what beancurd should taste like)Again, its now your choice whether to come here. My boyfriend has been coming here for 20 years and decided to organise my 25th surprise birthday dinner with some friends. The food has always been good and authentic. Unfortunately due to a misunderstanding the owner has had a proper breakdown, started crying and making a scene and even told us to leave if we wanted. We’ve been very apologetic and assured her that we weren’t laughing at her but rather with her and from the situation (she got the booking name totally wrong) but she kept going on and wouldn’t even listen. She’s been rude before but we let it go as a little joke that she’s a bit temperamental. But this time was definitely unacceptable and rude. On top of it, we’ve asked if there would be any chance to get some fresh basil from the kitchen and we’ve been totally ignored and after second attempt just told off simply NO. We won’t be coming back.

Pleasant visit to this traditional Thai restaurant, we visited with friends we were seated quickly and our food came at the same time. Not the most adventurous menu however the food is of good quality and not as spicy as we thought. Not the greatest atmosphere.

This is by far the worst Thai food I have ever eaten. Also the most disgusting chicken Ive had; I thought it was fish. It will be a miracle if I dont get food poisoning. When asked how my meal was, I gave feedback, only to be told I was incorrect and charged full price.

Went on Valentines Day. We had booked a table over a week in advance but upon arrival the staff claimed that we had not booked a table. Showed them the confirmation email and they eventually seated us 20 minutes after the time we had booked the table for. Once seated a women knocked the candle on our table over and tipped wax everywhere, including on myself. The staff literally threw a couple of tissues at us to clean up the mess, and did not offer to move us to a new table, even though ours was covered in candle wax. Then to top it off, they brought out the wrong starter. We cancelled our mains and left immediately.

The most HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE in my life. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful . she kept coming to us every 1 minute and after the fourth time when we asked her to give us couple of more minutes she was extremely rude and said to us in a raised voice tone either order now or leave. when we finally ordered, the food arrived half cold ,salads were really old and noodles were like a mushed potato. I would rather eat on the street then come back to this place.

We went on a Monday so it wasnt very busy and we didnt have to wait too long. The service was ok although the waitress didnt understand our order correctly and brought us the wrong drinks. The food came quickly. It was tasty but nothign special. I would say the portions were on the small side, especially the rice which definitely wasnt enough for two people. There wasnt anythign aprticularly bad about the restaurant but nothing above average either

Terrible experience - immediately noticed that the women serving was rude - we ordered a mixed sharing starter for £15 and when it came, it comprised of 2 tiny spring rolls, 2 chicken wings with no meat (which were overlooked) 2 pieces of prawn toast, and then some deep fried battered vegetables, which included one deep fried battered green bean?! So greasy and horrible - my husband was ready to leave, but I persuaded him to give them a second chance with the main. My husbands squid came (over cooked) and then we waited another 10 minutes for his accompanying rice and my pad Thai, as they had given ours to another table?! And didnt apologise!! She also added a 10% gratuity and we thought we had to pay - so angry now reading some of the other reviews!!! What a terrible place!!

Looks daunting from the outside but what a great restaurant! Amazing food and atmosphere, it was busy so book a table and order the curry and salt and pepper Tofu!

We came here on Saturday night before a concert at the roundhouse, the service was quick, food came quickly and tasted ok, it started to get busy and there was a queue of people at the door this was when it all went wrong. The manager rushed all customers clearly caring more for the money she would make than service, the manager knocked our candle off the table and wax everywhere, no apology, the plates were cleared within seconds of finishing main course and bill arrived when 2nd plate cleared without us asking for it 25min after arriving! We wanted to relax and have coffee but after asking were told there was no coffee or desert menu. A pick pocket tried to steal my phone that I left on the table next to me, he used the newspaper over phone trick, I caught him in the act and grabbed my phone back, we told manager and she showed little interest, why would they not care or allow thieves to wander around? The toilet seat was missing, space too small for me at 6ft to sit down and no hand towels. Finally we were unable to pay as the machine broke so were forced to use our only cash and had to waste our time walking around looking for a cashpoint afterwards.

Underwhelmed by my duck, quite plain and did nothing to justify the price. Vegetable tempura was also quite average. My girlfriend enjoyed her curry though, and the Thai tea was very tasty

`I would give zero star if there is an option. Was told I had to wait for 30 mins for my takeaway ordered. I waited in the restaurant for 40 mins and asked when the food could be ready. The waitress told me I had to wait for possibly 2 hours because the kitchen being too busy. My order hasnt been prepared at all! And no one would tell me that if i didnt ask! While I was waiting I saw her very rudely asked a group of 5 guests out because they couldnt handle 5 during the busy time. They had already sat down and started drinking. This is the worst service I have ever experienced.

Bad food, bad service, outrageous prices.The lady that welcomed us was extremely rude from the start and hurried us at all stages of our meal. We did not wait for long but the food was not fresh and the quality lacking. The papaya salad was very disappointing and sad, the fish cakes tasted rubbery and unfresh, the shrimps were ok but small and the beef pad Thai was average (and the only thing acceptable). Note : the men bathroom has no toilet seat. Good luck if you try it, never again for us.

Went here before a gig at Camden FEST. Food was lovely but restaurant is a bit cramped and waitress really rushes you. I understand they try to accommodate as many people as they can and try to be quick but I think it could be a bit friendlier.

The food was good but the woman who works there is always so mean and rude! Yet, they automatically add a 10% gratuity to the bill! my suggestion is to bring exact change so that you can give them the amount without the gratuity because I would never be able to say hey you are a big meany so could you run the card without the gratuity added on

Used to be a great restaurant however last night, the prawns had a black line running down the back of the prawn i.e. the intestinal tract, and there was a mouse running around whilst we were eating! I told the waitress straight away and she just replied, thank you for letting me know and proceeded to stamping her foot around the restaurant to shoo it out. How Gross. We quickly asked for the bill and left our food and wine behind. Whats worse is that she tried to charge me for the optional service charge. When I said no, she was angry. Dont think ill be coming back here any time soon!
