Delicious and affordable curry house with friendly staff. My favourite dish is the saag paneer, the coconut makes it 👌👌👌

Ordered from here last night was my sons birthday so made a big order. Food was brilliant and they got everything we ordered correct. Been here a few times now, staff are really lovely and friendly. A man came in while we were there who was hungry but had no money, the owner gave him food for nothing was so lovely to see. will definitely be going back.

My mother and I have been ordering from this restaurant for over 15-20 years and have always loved the food and the friendly service, however upon ordering the usual for my mother and I, I was appalled with what we received... i firstly noticed that the chicken Tikka masala was extremely runny and lacking in its usual colour... upon serving and eating my meal I was completely underwhelmed and in shock... not only was the dish runny but it was very strong with coconut more like a korma and that was as far as it went with the flavour, they also lacked in the amount of meat they usually give and my mother agreed and had the same issue with her madras.I was in such shock that I called the shop to speak with the manager... i intended not for a refund but to express how unsatisfied I was in the hopes that the food improves moving forward. However, the phone was answered by man whom we had not spoken to before and was met with a patronizing and arrogant tone and was told that we was unable to help and that they havent had people complaining about the points I raised before. They did note however that they had a new chef...I can honestly say that as of today, we will no longer be ordering from this resturaunt.

Ordered over the phone cause the website didnt allow me to. Provided even the numbers of the meals on the menu, so to not get it wrong. Yet, received chicken curry instead of prawns. (that means -no dinner- for a pescatarian) and the garlic naan was plain, not garlic at all. When I called to inform them about the mistakes they arrogantly said that the order was right, and if I wanted I could have placed another order.Hugely disappointing experience.This is what I call very bad customer service.

Good food and pleasant service. But they offered incentives and strong encouragement to give a five star review (including offering to take people’s phones and do it for them). That lost them two stars (I’d have given four). It also casts doubt on other five star reviews on here.

Food was ok but despite me asking them not to ring the buzzer so as not to wake my baby, they did anyway and woke him up. So by the time I got the food it was stone cold. Happy valentines...

Horrendous. My chicken was not cooked. Bright pink on the inside. Horrendous customer service who made me feel like I was being unreasonable.This place is terrible. Please avoid at all costs and eat elsewhere.

The curries at this place are great. I visited recently for the first time in ages. Ive no idea whats happened, but its a curry place, yet its also a sushi place. I think it even does kebabs. The actual premises look an absolute mess.

Dont be put off by the outside appearance, the food this place produces more than makes up for it. Delicious curries that are properly spiced with quality ingredients.Easily the best take away Ive had in Kennington.

Great service, delicious food and good restaurant feel. Nothing I more I could ask for. I go there as often as I can and would recommend to anyone.

Superb. Great staff. The desserts were a delightful surprise. Also, the chicken pathia and garlic chilli chicken were very flavourful!

Good for the price - there are several Indian places locally and this is the best of the bunch, especially when taking value into account.

I’m visiting from the California, where we have some pretty decent Indian food. However, nothing compares to the food I had Taste of India.My mom and I returned home at 10:30 pm, from a day of sight seeing. I was thrilled to find a place that would deliver so late. When I called to order, I was greeted by a very kind man, who chatted with me for a good 10 minutes before even getting to my order!Our food arrived piping hot in about 25 minutes and everything was delicious. We especially loved the vegetable Tikka Masala. I’ve never had such scrumptious Tikka Masala in my life!My only regret is that I didn’t find this restaurant sooner!

The function to order online directly to the restaurant on its own website does not work. Do not enter your card details in as it is dodgy and they will only accept cash payment. The staff denied that there was this function eventhough it was blatantly on their website. The food was not good. I would not recommend this dodgy place to anyone.

Absolutely disgusting, ive been to India and ive even made indian food. Nothing about here is authentic unless your taste buds are BAD, its like nothing ive ever tasted. The vegetable curry was more like a vegetable soup, the biryani looked good but tasted sour....such a terrible waste of money. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! You get 1 star for delivering, even though I had to throw it away!

Dont have much iIndian take-aways, but this is top of the list on taste and price.

Disappointed to see it being closed on Sunday. But from my previous visits to Taste of India in Dubai, the food tastes authentically Indian.
