All the customers purchase alot of items but they charge rs.10 for a bag. Before buying anything if we want to taste the item they are very stingy. Will shop from next door Navratna henceforth, they give the bag free.

Might be the best chikki shop in Matheran. Been here since 1922 it seems. Ive only bought chikki here so this review is about the chikki. Chikki is a bit better than the nearby (blue, original) Maganlal Chikki. Bit more expensive though. Pics attached. Crushed peanut chikki is Rs 400 per Kg as of Feb 2020. Noticed fancier packaging of late :-)

Ordered Chikki in December 2020. Still havent received it. Although their products are good, wouldnt recommend ordering online, because their communication is terrible.

Good place in Lonavala to buy authentic and tasty Chikki along with other farsaan. The staff is polite and responsive. Prices are decent. They hold a Limca record for making Chikki along with Lions Club Bombay which is very interesting. The location is prime and accessible to highway. Visited National after witnessing the bad customer service and eating poor quality fudge purchased at Cooper fudge n chikki. At National staff is warm and courteous and they had so much crowd yet were attentive towards every customer.they give you every variety of fudge to taste before one purchase it. And one can purchase fudge in low quantity too which isnt available at Cooper. Shopping for fudge and chikki at National was a pleasant experience.

Extremely unprofessional. The products are packed and kept. Refused to customise boxes according to our preference of chikkis. Finally after convincing, the owner agreed and promised to customise and give us what we wanted the next morning. The shop was shut the next day and we were not informed. We ended up buying the chikkis from maganlal as we were leaving that morning.

In my opinion they sell the best chikki and fudge in Lonavala. Their walnut and mango (only seasonal) fudges are great. Its fresh and not boxed packed. Chikkis are better than rest of the lot more nutty and less sugary candies.
