Abbott mount a place in green Himalaya . A tourist place located in champawat around 10 km from lohaghat main market. A town were the designs of house are like old type like they was still like that they were before freedom of our country.So many place to attract people are there. A old church a playground,a mysterious place Dr. Morriss hospital and lots of snow view point are there.
One of most Beautiful hill station in middle of forest surrounded by Deodar trees. A silent place except humming sound of many birds. All the highest mountain peaks(Nanda Devi, Trishul, Neelkanth, Maktoli etc.) of Uttarakhand are easily visible from here. There is an open field on top of this hill where any sport(Cricket, Football, Badminton etc) can be played. This place is still unexplored and non-commercial there are only few local care takers of private property and guest house. One must plan to this destination who really likes to feel and enjoy the true nature.

An old colonial bungalow, fabulous forest walks, great Himalayan views. This place has four large bedrooms, including one with a small extension. There is a drawing room, dining room and a small study which has glass all around. The kitchen is self catering, (so we bought our provisions at Lohaghat, 9 km from there and everything was available) and the cook arranged for us did a great job. There were lovely flowers in the garden and many beautiful birds which kept us mesmerized with their songs! Going back with lovely memories and hope to return soon

A beautiful place near lohaghat, here Britishers built there colonies and established a hospital known as Abbey hospital that time which was the only hospital in the locality were rural people from the surrounding areas come for there medication, Britishers also built a cricket ground here for there entertainment. A beautiful range ho Himalaya can be seen from here which is so enchanting and delightful.

View is superb but no such place to hangout. If you are planning to visit there be sure to visit the church just on the south of view point.Though the UKTDC already constructed cottages at very prime location but it is not started yet.The dhaba near the view point have great option of Desi Chicken. The dhaba manager is so generous even he can customize the menu.
Abbott mount is a very beautiful place located in lohaghat uttarakhand . This place is in middle Himalayan mountain series .from June to October we can see beautiful himalayan peak like PANCHACHULI NANDADEVI etc. There is a big ground for playing cricket. football and many outdoor games .. come and enjoy your life in beautiful environment.🙏🙏

Abbott Mount is situated about 5kms from Lohaghat District Pithoragarh. It is distinguished as a unique place for viewing entire Himalayan ranges provided sky is clean. Morning time after 10 o clock are the best hours to view clear Himalaya ranges covered by snow... It has green top big plain ground surrounded by beautiful trees.. It has Eco tourism huts... However it has sharp heightened road ... There must be expert hill driver for Car ... Ultimate unexplored beauty can be viewed from this place.... There is also a beautiful wood house of Badaun prince .... You may stay either in Lohaghat or ecotourism huts of Uttarakhand state government...
