Have been here for dinner time.Nice Ambiente.The food was not too spicy, which I liked.We only had some different starters but they tasted good.Unfortunately the mango lassis had ice cubes and therefore the lassi tasted not so good anymore after short time.The mango mousse was really good.Although there was much space available we only got a small table and when we left still the bigger tables have been empty

The best Indian food in town. So delicious that I was sad that I was full at the end of the meal. Dosas were amazing. Chicken curry is delicious. Real Indian taste!

As a big fan of indian food I think the food was good but was missing the spices, needed a punch of flavour. If not I would have given 5 stars. They serve very mild, adopted to European taste. Perfect as introduction to Indian food but not for authentic full flavour lovers.

The most authentic Indian restaurant in Lisbon. I celebrated my birthday party with 18 people at Chutnify and the food, drinks and service was excellent. Many thanks to the whole team for supporting my organisation and making it happen.

The employees here are absolutely amazing. Got locked out of our apartment with no phones and they helped us out immensely. Food was delicious and very nicely presented. Very impressed and happy!

We landed earlier in the day in Lisbon and wanted a solid, vegetarian friendly meal after our flight. We found Chutnify and since it was close to our flat, we walked there around 20:30. The staff were so friendly and answered all of our questions. The restaurant itself is small and has a wonderful atmosphere. The food portions were perfect and for the two of us, we ordered the spicy potatoes, dal & garlic naan. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended. Also, our waiter was so friendly and gave us suggestions on what to do and see in Lisbon as well as another staff member. They even told us to come back even just for any questions we had. 5/5 stars absolutely, we loved Chutnify.

Honestly one of the best Indian meals I’ve had, anywhere! We had four courses and each one was just as good if not better than the last. The atmosphere was great and very relaxed and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful with their dish recommendations. We even got a doggy bag to take home. If you enjoy your curries (and I do!) you must check this place out.

I really liked this place. Flavors were good, staff was cheerful and friendly. Decent prices and a good selection of wine and cocktails. Stand out dishes were Tandoori Paneer and Butter Chicken. Also good Mango Chutney. Food was adequately spicy where indicated [can be in issue in Lisbon]. My only gripe was the seating was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, great place. Definitely make a reservation as it can get busy during peak times.

Food was tasty, and the masala chai was even better. I would avoid the sugary spices at the end though, the ones at Chutnify taste like soap :).

Really great evening with colleagues at Chutnify. Make sure you try a cocktail at the bar. I had the mojito that is complimented with Indian spices. Yum.Then for starter and main we shared a mix of starters and mains.My picks were the samosas which were good, the chickpea chat, and the nan breads.Ill be going back when I go next to Lisbon.

Im a local and went with my girlfriend to chutnify. We heard about it but went totally by chance. The food surprised us, it was truly delicious. Not the typical 100 types of meal u usually find in these Asian/Indian restaurants, but the dishes they make are truly above average. The atmosphere is amazing, very well decorated, quiet atmosphere, serves both locals and visitors and well within typical price range. Overall 5 stars.P.s amazing bathrooms

This restaurant is a unique and brilliant concept mixing a great Indian taste with a modern concept and vibe.

We ordered takeaway, unfortunately we found the food overpriced and overall not good. One of the Curries was extremely salty, the other dish was just dry and bland, the bread was dry and floury. We had a much better experience at other Indian places before. More genuine flavours and balanced food might be worth a go.

Had visited this place on a Monday evening for dinner and ordered chole, butter naan, dal makhani and Bombay potatoes. All the items were very well made. Each of them were prepared with authentic method. The servers were kind enough to keep checking on our comfort level over the food and seating which is welcoming. Pricing is really reasonable too. Would recommend this place for a good Indian meal.

The quality of the food is really good, but some of the portions are small.We had different things to try: Cheese Dosa, Sweet Potato Chamussas, Pomegranate Raita, Cheese Nan, Tandoor Chicken, everything was delicious but because the table was so small it almost didnt fit and it got a bit discomfortable.If it was for the taste of the food I would give five stars, but...The food came really fast, so fast the cocktail that I asked arrived after the food.The restaurant has too too many small tables, very close to each other, so it gets really noisy and it gets hard to talk to the persons you are with, you need to shout...I know it would be less profit, but they should consider to take out some of the tables.

Highly disappointed, to say the least.Called before to confirm if they have parking, they said yes, it is not at all a problem. Spent at least half an hour trying to look for a parking spot upon reaching there.When it comes to food, we were excited to try this place based on good reviews. Ordered Masala Dosa, paneer curry, Garlic cheese naan etc. Masala dosa was below average for me. Accompaniments like Samabar and chutnies were barely enough for a person to taste them, let alone finishing the whole dosa with it. Potato masala was exceptionally dry. Others items were also mediocre.The whole thing didnt work for me unfortunately.

Just ok. Neither good nor bad. This is south Indian restaurant. If you are a visitor and done with bland Portuguese food after few days, then you will like it. Also unlike Portuguese restaurants, portions are not big. One dish is enough for one person and no more.

Excellent Indian food in Lisbon. Through our 15 day Portugal trip we have found good Indian food from Lagos (Algarve) to Lisbon. Chutnify does not disappoint. It is rightly found in the top 10 vegetarian restaurants in Lisbon on several food blogs. We ordered their Punjabi Chhole which went very well with their Cheese Garlic Naan. A warning - their Punjabi Chhole is spicy even for an Indian palate. Their Dal Makhani was also quite nice and so was their Papdi Chaat. If you like a strong taste of ginger in your drink, try out Mera Naam Joker. It is a small and a busy place. We went there on a Tuesday without a booking and were fortunate to get the only table that was not booked. They had to turn away at least 4 guests in front of us. It would be recommended to book in advance especially on the weekends considering Tuesday was so busy. We did not get to try their dosas and unfortunately will not be able to since we don’t know when we will be visiting Portugal again; but given the fact that we liked everything we ordered, it should be fine.

You will definitely visit this place, will get authentic indian food.

What happen? You guys use to be my favourite Indian place in Lisbon and the last two orders have not been up to par. Please please go back to your old recipes, because the food I ordered tonight was so expensive, there was barely anything, and i felt cheated. Good taste. Friendly service. Even though the name sounds south indian, Most of the dishes are north indian. A very few exceptions. Sambar was exceptional. Even better than a lot of Saravana bhavans across EU. Prebooking is a must. A bit difficult to find a parking place. We had to go a garage near by which is often full on a saturday evening.

I freakin love this place. It is very authentic South Indian cuisine that you can find in the South of India and Malaysia which I am from. The Lightness but flavourful curry. The perfectly cooked Basmati rice and the so crispy samosas brings me back to south of India and Malaysia for sure! Before I go to Indian restaurants I always read up on Google maps review and I just ant to point out to some of the people who gave this place 1 or 2 stars.. This is not northern Indian cuisine which is also very good. The masala. Dosa is also só good. Will come back again for sure!

The food they server will not taste exactly like south India but it is good to have Dosa because there isnt any restaurant in Lisbon who serve Dosa, I would not give 4 because of the price, yes its expensive and just one Dosa is no way sufficient .

Great Indian restaurant at Principe Real, on my visit we chose to share various menu items. We decided to go for dishes that we didnt find in other restaurants and give absolute emphasis to the duck dosa that was divine, with a very tasty duck meat. The cocktails that come out of the bar are creative, we opted for the tamarind margarita and the kachumber cooler, which were perfect to accompany the start of dinner. We also tried the thick, creamy and delicious Mango Lassi, with a very fragrant mango flavor, it was absolutely amazing and refreshing to drink. The restaurant is cozy and relatively small. On a Friday or Saturday night reservation is recommended.
